How to find Crappie on a Reservoir

This video demonstrates how to find crappie on a reservoir system. I walk through my process of how to find crappie on Watts Bar Lake while crappie fishing a tournament in Tennessee this past spring. What’s your best advice for bank crappie fisherman in these hot summer months?

@greeneyesfromohio4103 id try fishing near a dam or if you can find a dock/pier in deeper (10ft+) water. Crappie should be suspended under docks, so if you can get permission to fish marinas , you be able on some fish.

Crappie are very water temperature sensitive.
Deeper water is cooler. Shaded water is also cooler.
