I live in Ohio but fish the lower end of the lake. The piney flats are good in the mornings. I got a few other points that are all around 15 to 25 feet. That's where most brush piles we fish are found. Hope that helps.
Hey bud I grew up on Watts Bar and you are completely showing me up. If ever you want to come back to Tennessee I have the boat and the live scope. All it will cost you is a hotel room and gas. Hit me up
We fish Douglas and we fished on tue the day before the cold front the water temp was 65 but the crappie was in 25-30ft suspended at 12-18 range in open water at the mouth of creeks. We caught ours trolling. But it was a tough day
What up man glad to run into you and meet you, I was the one with the faimly and forgot your channel name but recognized you by your voice. After we left my wife made fun of me,cause I was happy i guess.
Good luck this weekend! Make Wi proud ☺️ Do you have a video on your echomap uhd unit? I have the 73sv for my kayak and I'm just starting to attempt to use it.
I am new to crappie fishing but would like to learn what is the best way to find fish and what would you recommend for bait?I have a boat a fish finder helix 9 and will be fishing lakes? any help is greatly appreciated.
Great videos (ep1 and ep2) I am surprised you didn't find better fish in Piney, I'd always heard it was a good creek. The ramp had been closed so I just started exploring it. With a big/long lake like WB do you put any stock in that one area will be better than the rest just because its the south end and nearest the dam? Or are the fish more or less evenly distributed?
Man I have watched video after video of different lakes and how an where I catch during the entire year never coincides with other lakes in our region or others north east west or south of me or info online so I’d be lost if I have to change lakes
Hey man, how are you liking those rear seat ACC rods vs the middle seat? I'm on the fence, but I'm looking to get some 12's and 13's and the rear seats seem to make more sense for the longer rods. What do you think?
Hey Davis are you still using a Humminbird at the Helm or are you fully Garmin now? I bought 2 Garmin ECHOMAP UHD 93sv units. I seem to have more trouble finding fish with the side scan on these units than I did on my old 798 Humminbird. Do you have any tips or suggestions.
i have both at the helm, i mostly use the Humminbird for mapping. My side imaging settings are 40ft left/right, contrast around 55%, gain/brightness on Auto Low
I saw a sign at the boat ramp saying to limit the amount of white bass and black bass that you eat out of the lake, but I didn't see anything about crappie.
Man you being sneaky I do same thing when I’m crappie fishing every weekend or more if possible an I still don’t want nobody to close an don’t want them to troll or motor over an ask me how I’m doing I will turn my boat away an not talk to them 🤣😂

Good video Davis. Good to see you back out on the water. Good luck on the tournament. Keep us posted.
Thanks, day 2 video just posted ua-cam.com/video/z80fiew1ZYM/v-deo.html
Great video. That looked like a flat head catfish. They are good eaters.
It looked like a flathead to me too. I wasn't hungry for catfish though
Good job on the video Davis! I hope you enjoyed your time in TN. God Bless man and maybe see you at the event next year!
Tennessee was a great trip, I hope to be back next spring!
Good Morning! Great to see my notification lit up.
Glad to see notifications are working!

I will be filming a full series this spring on how I use my echomap, it should be out by the end of May.
Nice Flathead

I had my best luck toward the south end of the lake, just north of piney.
Wondering if that is universally true. I fish Chickamauga (the next lake) and the best spots are definitely on the southern third of the lake.

You cant adjust the water levels on the map unless thats a ultra unit or map. just another sleazy move from Garmin. lol

I the the hybrid rear seat for my 12ft. That's the rod you see in the video.

How do you tie multiple jigs on?
So how'd you do in the tourny?
Tournament video is up. Ep.5
What kind of rod is that with the short butt?
Never mind, just made it to the end of the video

2022 Gas Prices has entered the chat...
Haha. Yup!
I don’t think you’re supposed to eat the fish out of there?
