Late Summer Crappie Fishing a SMALL lake

- On todays episode of Wisconsin fisherman we head to a small lake to try our hand at finding and catching some crappie then try to catch them on a flyrod and spinning gear. This was my first time catching a crappie on this lake so the effort was put in to find them in their typical deep weed edge spot.

River fish for crappie, very elusive, brush piles off the main Chanel, some times in as much as 20 feet of water or less the 5 ft, just keep moving until you find them. Live minnows work best in the Mississippi river,slip bobber, gold hook. 👌 🇺🇲👍

I don't have a boat, but went fishing with a friend in southern Minnesota and found a few like 8" crappies and some 6-9" sunfish in 2-4 feet. There were a lot of decent marks in 11-13 feet, probably some walleye, large sunfish, and nice crappies by the way they were acting, but we ran out of time to catch them. Love the videos and wish i could fish as much as you do!

I suck at two things in fishing. Crappie and Walleye. Some reason I cam not figure them out lol.
