The power of facebook marketplace 😂 they are definitely creeping up but if you look long enough and take a risk they can be had if you’re happy with an example thats rough round the edges
Will take this over the overhyped and overpriced S2000 all day everyday. I have driven both and this is a much better car. This is also the most under rated sportscar in the automotive history. This is a beauty. The E85 Z4 is a keeper.
Did well getting a good usable 6 pot for that money. I've had my 2.5 for over 5 years now and they are great fun. I've put hydraulic steering from an M3 into mine to finally fix the nasty sticky steering they suffer from. A set of 15mm wheel spacers sets the rear of them off nicely too. Enjoy it!
I am just now looking at one with high miles, I am watching videos and yours does make me want to go for it, I am going to check for any issues, hopefully everything works out
How are these so cheap in the UK? I just bought a 2004 Z4 2.5 with manual shift. It was $10,000, and seemed like a great deal compared to others that are 12k to 18k. But mine needs a new convertible motor, and new door locks and a new steering column. The BMW dealer wanted 13k in repairs to make it whole. It looks great and is lots of fun to drive, but it's a LOT more money than these videos from the UK are saying.
@ItsDanLatham I bought it in Texas, where I live most of the year, but right now I'm at my summer home in BC, Canada. And looking at them here, they are more expensive again, but probably because the Canadian dollar is less than 70% of the US dollar. The reason I bought the one I did was that it only had 42k miles on it was stored in a 10-car garage its entire lifetime. Normally, the other cars of this age seem to have 150k miles on them.
How your mate found a working example for £1500 in 2023 I will never know 😂 cheapest on Autotrader now is £2k with 180k miles on it

Ive got a 3.0 manual z4 and love driving it. I think it's a stunning looking car and aged really well.

@@valserrie2122 sounds like a great find, they are fantastic cars if looked after. I hope you enjoy it, despite the cost!
How are you using a steering without airbags? Is that even legal?
