The thing I remember most, other than the awesome movie, was a bunch of college kids bouncing a beach ball around the theater and screaming with excitement. There was no other movie I saw, ever, that was as exciting as this one. Thank you Arnold!
LOL. I think the reason I'm here is because of the old VHS copy of Terminator 2 I just found at Goodwill this week. Even in the year 2019, I've watched it already many times this week. I still can't believe it was made way back in 1991. Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor) was the baddest fiercest woman on screen back then. Just by watching it you remember how it was such a huge blockbuster in 1991.
That's very hardcore. I saw it 4 times. On my last time my GF drove into a drivein Sacramento suburb. We didn't have much money so I hid in the trunk while she drove in solo. Then I tried to bootleg the movie and I set my VHS camcorder on the hood of the car pointing at the screen, threw a blanket over the camera to hide it and recorded the movie. About 20 minutes in the the movie drivein security moved in on us because I guess a female going here alone isn't normal and asked to see our tickets. I didn't have a ticket because I new jacked them with my stupidity, plus they saw my camera. We got in the car and GTFO ASAP. I wish I had the VHS video of getting busted recording this movie but I copied over it with something else. haha
Although Arnold's had some amazing achievements, he wouldn't have had affairs if he was the epitome of self-discipline. Not judging him, just saying he made the very same mistake that a lot of married people who aren't stars make and for the very same reason, which was that he lacked the willpower to resist.
He is truly a very trivial, somewhat fake, and envious guy. I like him to a degree but I also see things I don't like. I can see him being a prima donna behind close doors (and all indications say he is).
Imagine that, someone not liking one of the fakest dudes ever. You should pat yourself on your back for spreading the good word about our lord and saviour...*drum rolls*...Mr. "Get to the choppa!", Mr. "Hrahrahra!", the legend himself seeing his enemies driven before him and hearing the lamentations of their women before and after trying to sleep with them, Mr. Arnold, The Sperminator Schwarzenegger. Yea, self-discipline, a positive attitude, an epitome and all that jazz indeed. Cool, you should put that on a t-shirt but guess what, if you do, your Idol might sue you for it. Look man, we all liked Arnold but then we turned 13. The guy is not a role model for anyone who is willing to look into him even briefly. Let's leave the dinosaurs in the past where they can win 1980's Olympias by cheating like the good role models that they are. I used to like him a lot but the more I look into him, the more I see what a despicable human being and lowlife he truly is. On the upside, he can store up to three tissues between his front two teeth so that's kind of cool!
@@sesese7353 hey, people love and worship Trump, a traitor, obvious conman and demagogue. There’s no accounting for taste, eh? Go rant to someone who cares to listen.

I hope you were joking, and that you have not forgotten the Golden Age of Athens (Socrates, Plato, Sophocles), the Elizabethan era (Shakespeare, Tallis, Holbein, Byrd), the Enlightenment (Voltaire, Bach), or 19th century Paris.

I saw Terminator 2 three times the first weekend it came out. To this day, I consider the scene where the terminator removes the skin from his arm, to be one of the best scenes I’ve ever seen.
From what I remember, this is just how VHS tapes looked. If you kept it in a box in a closet then it hasn't changed. VHS was just always a bit janky, but it worked! We could record all the things, just like we could record any songs on the radio onto our own mixtapes and nobody cried about piracy being a huge issue. They were literally broadcasting songs over the radio, for free, and people could record it, and only after the internet and MP3s became a thing did they decide that recording freely distributed music for listening to at your leisure was a huge problem.
Damn I really miss this era. Take me back. I miss going to Blockbuster Video and picking out movies to watch...interacting with other people. Reading the newspaper and magazines...Actually having to take a chance and buy a cd when seeing new music you liked on MTV AT 2AM. Politics weren't dividing the nation...the economy was good. Pre 9/11. It all seems like fun and games looking back now.
Same here. I miss Friday nights when me and my wife would get off work. Then drive around from video store to video store looking for stuff to watch after we got fast food dinner. We had Blockbuster, Hollywood video and mom and pop stores all over the place. Even a place to drive 30 miles downtown Phoenix to rent rare hard to find horror movies. Now everything everything in instant and generic 90 minutes of 'something to watch'. The directors for Netflix stuff don't give a fuck how much their movie makes or if its any good. They only care if it meets min standards for them to get their next streaming gig. Mediocrity.
I actually MET him. I was delivering pizza for a well known pizza place in the 'Antelope Valley,' when he was filming Terminator-2,' and I delivered it right to his room, and he actually opened the door. I couldn't believe it. I was standing face-to-face with the Terminator, holding his pizza. I didn't find out till weeks later, that he was in town for the filming of Terminator-2. The 'Antelope Valley' is a desert community about 25-mile's south of 'Mojave' where much of the movie was filmed. I also one time delivered pizza to Harvey Keitel; he was staying at a hotel just up the street from the one Arnold stayed in while he was also over in the Mojave filming, "From Dusk till Dawn."

I spat my drink out when he said "Dah retahded people." ROFL
Man, times have changed!!
You can't say retarded or handicap to explain a person's difficulty here in the U.K.
Offensive, prime example of how times have changed dramatically!
In the U.S. you can't say ANYTHING without offending someone. Soon simply speaking at all will be treated like a crime.
I had to rewind 😂😂😂
@@jasonhardy142 you can’t say spastic mong either.

Terminator 2 the best movie ever made
He ain't wrong folks.
Rite
But how can that be true if Terminator 1 is better?
Can't argue that.
I saw T2 nine times in the theatre!
ive seen T2 13 times in cinema here in London from august 2017 to Feb 2018
I wish I had the VHS video of getting busted recording this movie but I copied over it with something else. haha
Nuclear Muscle the first time seeing it was just out of this world.
David G. You have great taste. It's one of the greatest movies ever made in my opinion. A masterpiece.
I seen frozen 4 times at the theatre
Arnold was BIG on Presidential Sports Awards program....Fitness through ALL sports. It got him into contact with sitting presidents for years.
I saw it 7 times in the theatre in 1991! Just that damn good of a movie!
i was so hyped for it when it was coming out
How can anyone dislike Arnie? He’s the epitome of self-discipline, hard work, a positive attitude, the true self-made man, and the American dream.
Everyone loved this Arnie. Unfortunately he’s been disappointing in more ways than one in his later years.
Total Recall, The Running Man.
Arsenio, epic Hawaiian shirts.
And also "THE BANGING MAN" with his housekeeper hahahaha
The Predator
@@cluggyahoo Get over it.
@@fiscer247 yeah ...just like Arnie did..he got OVER the maid 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Holy shit Arnold is so damn handsome here (The Sperminator!). Terminator 2 was the high point of civilization and it's been a gradual decline back to the dark ages since then.
VLEXI tf
I hope you were joking, and that you have not forgotten the Golden Age of Athens (Socrates, Plato, Sophocles), the Elizabethan era (Shakespeare, Tallis, Holbein, Byrd), the Enlightenment (Voltaire, Bach), or 19th century Paris.
We're talking contemporary Western Civilization.
The Sperminator? 😕
LOL. I just also rewatched my old VHS copy of Predator. Arnold was HOOOT in that movie. Sometimes I'm jealous of Vanessa Williams when I watch Eraser.
What I'd give to relive this period of my life again. Truly the best of times. 1990's forever!
This is an amazingly full of confidence and life interview
For me this is Arnold in his most absolute prime. Like right at the peak of his Holywood career.
Arsenio - "Will there be a Terminator 3??" Arnold - "Yeah, just give us 12 years"
note2owns there’s no T3 though

Cripes...feels just like yesterday I saw T2 for the 3rd time in the theater. Crazy how fast time flies...all these action heroes I grew up with in their prime in the 80s and 90s....all old now.

Sorry friend. Not even close to the same generation.
Arnie had the first Hummer?!!?!
Yeah I remember it was all over the news back then and people made jokes it came with a minigun turret.
Yeah it was talked about, I think he had like 2 of them at some point.
So Arnold is the whole reason why Hummas started being sold to ppl outside the military...such a Legend!!❤
Am sure it was him as governor that made them road legal in California?
@@bongoking5850
He was not a governor then..
He bought 2 of these in around 1992, the first ever.... He was governor in ten, fifteen yrs later
"So I called the military..." - Arnold Schwarzenegger

Damn! I feel so lucky that i got to see him live in person. He is a very humble person, and just an iconic man.
@Jay W11 where did u see him?

its definitely the #1 "summer movie" of my life..i saw it 4 times that summer..its was just an epic blockbuster for its time! i can watch anyday of the week as a 46 year old dad!
Arnold’s jokes are absolutely hilarious! 😂 what a great time to be alive.
I miss the 90s. Comics, films, videogames, wrestling. Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Scwharzenegger trying to 1up each other for awesome films was always funny.
I love Terminator 2, I would love to see the T2 stuff you recorded from TV.
From a 3D / CGI designers perspective, Terminator 2 is a benchmark
The props and real effects blend in that much it's hard to tell

I love it how Arnold can speak for minutes without getting interrupted!!!
Yeah this was a great interview, with a genuinely good chemistry between Arnie and Arsenio.
They didn't want to get terminated
Anyone know the name of the song thats used for the Olympics promo? It starts at 10:19
I miss and man I really miss these times. I mean damn. Can't beat it.
Loved the 90s. Miss it so much!
Arnie used to be so effortlessly likeable and funny back in the day. Miss the 90s. Good times :)
I ve seen T2 3 times in theatre in a row, So he is right. Fantastic movie for that time. I loved it.
Sad that I will never get to meet this man and shake his hand for the best childhood movies I could ask for with Terminator being my favourite! Thank you!
i remember watching T2 in the theater as a kid..11..the audience was going crazy at the end when Linda Hamilton was cocking her gun. WOW.
What were the audience’s reactions when they saw the T1000 effects?

I saw this a few weeks after it came out. Changed my life. James Cameron=genious
Back when America had a sense of humor. Love Arnold.
We miss that Arnold.....
Wow! What a gem, thank you for uploading this and not throwing it away!
This man the only person that can negotiate to the military of buying one of their vehicles
Man, I miss the 90's. What a great era
Arnold always makes me laugh, I have always enjoyed listening to him speak. The man calls the armyfor a hummer lol. YES
These two should’ve made a movie together.
He's @ the Pinnacle of his movie career here.
maybe for action movies but Arnold really got out of his cheesy one liner roles in Maggie and Vendetta
@@Zozo806 yeah coz those movies were great...
Mediocrity.
I Loved T2 so much I paid $145 when it was released on VHS
@OP you got ripped off bigtime LMFAO
He too throw me off with that Sperminator slogan. Arnold was obsessed with sex!😅
I remember very well. I went 3 times to the theaters to see Terminator 2.
MAN, I'M SO HAPPY FOR ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER BECAUSE I WILL ALWAYS LOVE HIM SO VERY MUCH.
I love Arnold, fucking awesome dude, wish I knew him
FSG I know 😎 super unique
Fuck u asshole
90's ❤
