Hey Richy, I’ve lived in Asia for many years mate, and now relocated/retired back to the UK village of my birth… only to find that your brother Dave now lives there!!! He told me of your travels & blogs and I’ve been following your vids ever since, brilliant mate, I still head to S E Asia each year and I’ll catch up with you… and I’d love to show you the best parts of “expensive”Phuket when I visit later this year … Top Man, hope to catch up soon. Peter “ Shooter” Schott
Hey Richy, I’ll be in SEAsia later this year, no dates yet, I’ll keep you updated… loved and worked in Singapore n Phuket for a many years - keep up with the great local vids out there mate, great to watch as I have visited lots of the featured locations 👍🏼
Hi Richy, that island looks awesome, i have been to many places in Thailand for the past 25 years, how i missed this one i don't know, cheers and thanks.
I am in Koh Phayam now for the next 3 months! DEFINITELY recommend the Hippy Bar at Ao Khao Kwai (Buffalo Bay)!! Beautiful sunset and BEAUTIFUL after sundown!
That good morning intro took me by surprise and made me laugh - at pace in the taxi 🤣 Oh well, the wrong pier makes for a good morning walk to see more of the town and locals. I bet that fishing dock stunk! Nice haul for the town though, and most probably the daily catch for the markets. Those blue drums on the boats for the fish is amazing the way they do it. Another great far away location to see at Koh Phayam. Seemed to be less westerners but a few western style food places as you walked in to town. It does sound so peaceful there. 2MB per second?! That's shockingly slow, but in line with the basics of the island I guess. Looking forward to you showing us more of the island.
Great to hear that Wifi speed was the reason for 2 days without any new video of you. Got worried you might have caught something nasty. Enjoy the nature and once you are back on mainland, you can upload the best of the best of your moments on the island.
I dropped the ball mate, I come to Koh Phayam thinking at least there will be 7/11 for WiFi. Surprise there isn’t ha. It took me nearly seven hours to upload this. Business as usual I’m back in the mainland tomorrow
@@ParkinsonRaw vlogging challenges. For what it's worth, I'm here in the US and my Internet is total trash, but limited options where I live. It's frustrating when I see a vlogger do a speed test at a hotel in some developing nation and their speeds blow away what I'm getting here in the first world. Crazy.
What a lovely day beautiful scenery and the noises gets me every timè the birds and the wildlife. Not going to lie i cried you were so emotional its lovely to see you so happy and i think fhe two bottles may have helped lol stay safe 😊
First i thought you had 2 dsys off thsn up you pop and i was like good good now where is he today than i find out it super sloooooooooooow wifi i guess the whole island is slow with the wifi or was it just at that place you was staying at
Hiya Jason, no mate it’s the full island. Seven hours nearly to upload this vlog. I’m conscious not to be putting my laptop through that graft. Back to the mainland today and business as usual.
Really enjoyed the boat ride, I felt part of the journey. Koh Phayam looks like heaven to me, just walking, relaxing, eating . Great to see all the fish getting sorted out, would never normaly get to see what goes on behind the scene. Dont worry if no vlogs due to internet, just enjoy
Sorry Richie I forgot wifi bad on koh phayam but island is paradise. Sean from Vlogging a dead horse u tuuber was there about a year ago and said great place. 👍 Hope u enjoyed and safe travels up to bkk and Kanchanaburi
It almost felt like I was in some sort of rehab program Richy, 2 days no vlogs 😂 It’s in my daily routine to watch your video during my evening meal. Luckily it was just the bad WiFi!
Hiya mate, if you mean in a financial way no definitely not. On the otherwise I could but it wouldn’t be anywhere near as enjoyable. I love sharing my experiences as I’m alone. All of the comments also make me feel like I’m travelling with friends. Sounds cheesy but the interaction is really good for me mentally.
I thought you would have wi~fi "issues" there rich, vlogging a dead horse went off the radar for a few days, no matter, have some "me" time and bombard us with videos when you return to mainland, looking at it through previous peoples videos i didn't fancy koh payam but ive changed my mind looking at your walk in, looks so peaceful and no hussle & bussle, enjoy & recharge pal,..
From Mark & Lisa! Keep up the good work matey. We love the viewing every evening! 😅

Thanks Greg, just on route back mate. Yes island life comes hand in hand, I’ve never experienced the WiFi this slow but Phayam was worth it.

Missed your vlog Richy. I even went to your channel yesterday in case I was missing notifications. Glad to see you're doing well and still at it.

@quackersna I can understand your frustration’s mate. In the US it shouldn’t be a problem. But the more rural we go it’s gets harder.
Loved the Boat Ride and Koh PHAYAM looks very Tranquil. Enoy Your peaceful days and nights. Eat Ravenously all the Great Food. Pray for better WI-FI.
Much appreciated Jack, it is an amazing Island. Very highly recommended as long as you don’t rely on WiFi ha.
The girl with the fish controls the workers well, an island with no tourists at all is a godsend these days - great video❤
It is mate, the island was amazing❤️👌🏻

Looks a bit like Ko Pha Ngan 44 years ago 🙂
It was beautiful mate, so quiet too😎
I was there 35 years ago.
All that waiting around calls for a beer mate. Enjoy one on me.
So much appreciated Tim, thanks mate
Staying there would be my worst nightmare, way too quiet one night would be too long
Yeah everybody’s different mate, i like it quiet. Probs my age ha
Question richie...if you were just travelling, not filming on you tube, would you be ok on your own just doing it?

Great answers to both questions richie,i asked because i travel alone, just wondering you are with it thanks
Hiya Richy 😊
Hey Jina😎👌🏻
good evening traveler
Hi Abdul
Im saying...just your own company not talking to a camera, how would that be?
Very boring mate to be honest. That’s why I’m always moving. Apart from Kanchanaburi, I have friends there and I love the City. That’s my end game💯
Everybody is different, I’m 48 and I want to travel before it’s too late.
