Hi Richy. Great to see you back on the road. I've been missing my regular fix. Hope you had a refreshing r and r. Sublime views of the hill ranges. Imagine trying to count the 399 turns as you went up - "One...two..." Someone must have done it!
Morning, Richy! 399 turns...sounds hectic! That accommodation looked pretty good at Sankhlaburi. The bridge view 10 kms out of town was pretty sensational. Not much room to stop, but all seem OK with it. That was a huge local market you found. Do you reckon you are taking a risk with those sausages? How has your stomach been? I hope you have recovered all OK now. Beautiful views along the way. They really cater for the instagram photos in Thailand. Lucky to get that bed for your first night in town!. Keep up the great vlogs!
Morning Greg, Sangkhla Buri and Pilock were both really good places mate and the 399 turns was ok with all of the views and stop off points. My stomach is getting there thanks, with the sausages I don’t often eat the fatter ones as they can be undercooked but I got these as they were fresh off the grill. I’ll be honest I only had a bit and gave the rest to the dog.
Brilliant video enjoyed it alot shows sometime you need to booked ahead and as someone who's used to work in the hotel trade it something i do lol as i know alot get booked up. Missing your even other days vlogs you ok or you only doing 1 a week now ?
It's sort of like the road up to Pia, Thailand. Enough turns to make you vomit. I like your vlogs, you make a good effort to show some great places not worn out with mass tourist.
Good to see you back and you haven't been lifted. You're mates should've copped on and grabbed an extra room. Beautiful spots all the way. You'll be happy as larry stuck in the mountains again. Good luck.
What travel insurance company do you use mate.love your video,s very informative. I,m off to Kl and Da Nang next year and as a 70+ traveller I want to get it right. Keep on with the vlogs love them! ..Barry
Hi Barry, I don’t always have travel insurance but I do when I go into certain countries like Pakistan and Nepal. I always try insure and go, I get one months cover when needed. You’ll love Da Nang and KL, both in my playlists if you haven’t already seen them
Thanks Seni, it was mostly on the 323 then 60/70 kms on another road I can’t remember. If you put Pilok Village into google maps that takes you straight through the journey.
Ice to see a new part of Thailand 🇹🇭 loving your adventure il be there in a weeks time for Xmas puddings in my suitcase for a restaurant in Pattaya for there Xmas menu
I wish I was there for Xmas but it’s half term Next week and work at school so my plan is 6 weeks for next year in summer holidays as want to go to the candle festival up in ubon
Greetings Richy. Hope all is well for you. Thankfully the Village name only has one "L" . Such a beautiful place. At 13:06 I suddenly had the urge to visit the loo. Oh My Word, you are so close to Burma Borders. You do sail so close to the wind. Be Safe.
....unfortunate choice of name for a village....I dont know that I would like to be seen with a commenorative touristy badge on my jacket when I got home!
Thanks!

During the rainy season, this village is often shrouded in mist.
I expected it do be honest mate.
Nice vlog Richy. It's worth mentioning, those sausages are made from only 'the freshest road kill'.
@@robinlowerson565 thanks Robin, ha there’s a reason you never see road kill anywhere mate.

Thanks Matthew it was a lovely place, they didn’t realise I’d be arriving so late with all the stops I made. Luckily I got a bed for the night.
Glad you made it to the top Ricky, hope you didn’t get too wet with that downpour 👍👍
Thanks Steve, no i got shelter and food and it stopped an hour later👍🏻

Good video Richy. Would like to see exactly where that is on the map. Did you travel the # 3272 all that distance? Wow! Take care! Cheers!

@@ParkinsonRaw Thanks! I have Googled the location. I can use the car system from Kan. Cheers!
Richy have you not got a chest cam or something similar so we can experience the ride with you
I have mate I used it on the Mae Hon Son loop but the footage was terrible to be honest.
And the conclusion is, always book your accommodation in advance and leave nothing to chance
Definitely there for somewhere so small

....unfortunate choice of name for a village....I dont know that I would like to be seen with a commenorative touristy badge on my jacket when I got home!
I had to ask twice when somebody told me the name lol, lovely place though.
I guess the only other option would be to turn up at a temple and ask for a safe sleeping space....
I couldn’t believe it, I was thinking about having to leave.
Funny little town...
It was definitely worth visiting Simon but a long ride and very touristy. I found out later the kids were off school that week.
