- Welcome to today's vlog in a Rural Town In Nepal Exploring Sauraha And Accommodation 2024🇳🇵🇳🇵. After Kathmandu which is amazing but busy it's a nice break to get a away from the hustle and bustle to a remote town near the Indian border Sauraha.
Right in the Chitwan National Park this small town is the perfect place to relax and take in the rural side of Nepal. Also i'll be showing you my accommodation as always which is extremely cheap. Rooms at the hotel start off at £4 a night and upwards and can be highly recommended.
I really hope you enjoy my Rural Town In Nepal Exploring Sauraha And Accommodation 2024🇳🇵🇳🇵vlog and can join me in the next one. Please Like, Subscribe and Share with anybody who you think may be interested in my content. Thank you

Another great one Richy. It looks like a great place. Chilled out and warmer than I would've thought. Math
Thanks Math, it is amazing here mate. Yes it’s surprisingly hot considering it’s still rainy season too. Bandipur is my favourite place in Nepal so far.
Thanks for the great informal content. Thoroughly enjoy all your vlogs which constantly inspire me to travel
Thank you very much Baz that’s great to hear and exactly what I want to do, show everybody how amazing places are and that it can be done on a budget if needed and have a great time.
The place looks amazing! The noises at night are incredible! Cheers, Richy!
Thank you mate, it was very peaceful and relaxing there.
Brilliant vlogs as usual Richy… keep exploring and keep us all enriched by your travels - top man
Thank you Peter, I am loving it here in Nepal it’s such a beautiful country.
Thanks!
Thank you very much Bronson.
Nepal amongst the cleanest ones in South Asia I reckon.
Well, apart from all the construction dust, monsoon sludge and the surrounding border with India....
Never been to Chitwan....
But even this small town(I presume) seems relatively much more clean.
Cheers Mate...
Brings back memories of the time I spend in Nepal.
It’s a pleasure mate, Nepal is right up there with Thailand and Vietnam for cleanliness. Chitwan was so relaxing it’s a must visit and a beautiful place. Not as good as Bandipur though, by far my favourite so far.
@@ParkinsonRaw Looking forward for Bandipur videos.

Sitting with the world's biggest smile and watching.. Nepal is so damn cool.. Jeep safari is where you see the most, on an elephant you get the closest, but when you hike and canoe, it's just the coolest thing.. Few yt videos makes me feel liek this, Namaste Sweden
Namaste my friend, thank you
King of the budget travels you mate . Its the highlight of my day lately when you post a video . Iam staying in a caravan in south shields with work at the moment it will have to do till my annual holls in November to Sri Lanka 😂❤

You look happier in the smaller towns. Best of luck from kampot
Hi Alan, I am mate. Popular demand on UA-cam wants the touristy areas but I love being in the rural especially in low seasons.
I’ll hopefully be there before the year ends to see you and Steve mate.
Sir Edmund Percival Hillary KG ONZ KBE was a New Zealand mountaineer, explorer, and philanthropist. 1953, Hillary and Sherpa Tenzing Norgay first climbers confirmed to have reached the summit of Mount Everest.
Kind of a hero in New Zealand, you know big enough to be on a bank note.
Look after yourself mate, loving your resent vlogs.
Thanks Simon, I was kicking myself afterwards I was thinking of George Mallory.
Alright mate, great to see you a couple of weeks ago at home Richie, looking forward to seeing your next adventures pal. Stay safe and speak soon Rich👍
Hiya Ste, it was good to catch up mate and thanks. You too bud💯👌🏻

It is beautiful here Matthew and so relaxing mate.

Thank you mate.
Other top vlog and yes I agree with you looks more like a town not a village to me as well. Hope you can find some boots size 10 for you there. Glad your stomach is getting better
Thank you Jason, the hunt continues for the boots mate
@@ParkinsonRaw I bet it do and keep getting your stomach better
Good vlog. And yes, here come the comments! Not Hillary, but Mallory and Irvine, 30 years before, in the 20’s. You’ll be able to find boots in Pokhara, which I found to be much more relaxing than Kathmandu. Please go for a good long trek. Leave most stuff behind in Pokhara and just walk in the mountains- guest house to guest house. $25 a day max for food and accommodation. You’ll need a puffy coat or fleece for the chilly evenings and a light sleeping bag or comforter.
I’m trying to regain my stamina to do these treks Chad as normally I’m a diehard. Thank you mate.
Either way I will be back soon I love it here.
Brilliant as always Richy, that was great viewing…stay safe Jimbo Glasgow 🤘❤️he
Do you ever think of doing a live blog one day of the days be a great watch?
Thanks Jimbo, I’ll do one at 5K subs mate to celebrate a long awaited milestone💯❤️
You should consider a trip to Kenya. You'll see tons of animals there and some amazing waterfalls.
Future plans mate, I hope the channel grows enough to help me go there.
Get good buses while traveling. There are 'sofa buses' which are much more comfortable as the roads are bad. It's only couple of bucks more.
Thanks, I got another one today and it was ok.

Amazing info thanks Chad, I was thinking of George Mallory 30 years before in the 1920’s but on camera my head often goes to mush mate.
❤❤❤❤
Thanks Alex🇳🇵💯❤️
Hi Richard I know you are a train fan, I found some very old trains with theatre, people imitated the old days, have a look, you won't regret it, mostly Netherlands is Market - but there are places.
Hey Yomijn, I’ll look that up mate.
@@ParkinsonRaw Respect
@@ParkinsonRaw 👍🍺
Your face shows you have 'de stressed' after your Pakistan experience! Onwards and upwards Richy!
I am very happy here thanks mate it’s so relaxing and a beautiful country.
Please do watch dance... it will be different experience for you...also i like to point out the way you keep it real and raw i loved it.. also keep update about your health
Thank you, I will keep my eyes open for the dance.
Hi Richy , can I ask how do you decide how long a video should be?
Hi Alan, I don’t to be honest. I have no idea how long I’ve been recording the camera doesn’t show that. I usually have a fair idea and I like to do 30-40mins vlogs through the week and longer on the weekend if the contents there, sometimes it’s not possible.
@@ParkinsonRaw Thanks Richy
Is this the town where the Rhino roams through the city? Saw some Instagram, UA-cam footage but don't know if this is the town.
It's amazing the value for money for accommodations, food in places like Nepal. Thailand is top draw but honestly speaking the prices keep creeping higher and higher and you've got to work hard to get off the Sheep path. Far too many tourist in Thailand. I was there a few months back. I went to Sukothai. Not bad but it was in the off season so not many tourist.
Yes mate I showed the stats on one vlog I think it was 725 rhinos in Nepal and 695 of them are in this national park in the town. Occasionally you do see them wandering the streets but not everyday.
@@ParkinsonRawI did a Overland trip something like 20 plus years ago started in Mumbai and up to Kathmandu through Chitean. Amazing trip, camping almost entirely. Camping in Rajastan, we'll generally in India is a real grind on many levels. I had a great time but was exhausted mentally. We arrived in Chitwan and I just wanted to get to Kathmandu and just chill. Since I'd seen Rhinos in Africa. I took a local to Katmadu. I know Asian and African Rhino's are different. Old memories of good times.
Kiwi mate. He died in 2008. - Pokhara is a but of a party town.
@@benleno thanks Ben, I kicked myself after the vlog it was George Mallory I was thinking of and it was 30 years before In the 1920’s.
Never judge a book by its cover.god bless you my friend. Stay safe Inshallah. ❤❤
Thank you my friend, you too💯❤️👍🏻
So you went to Chit-wan in the end. Watch out for the red ants they bite. I stayed by the river, right by the river which wasn't great for mossies
Thanks Mark, yes it’s very relaxing here mate after Kathmandu. I’m just off the river and it’s ok here. I’ll be moving up to Pokhara soon.
Looks far better than Kathmandu, too many people about there - this is far more laid back. You need to check out a few bars Richy, get some beer 🍺 down your neck. £8.50 seems about right 😊
It is very relaxing here Martin, I’m not much of a drinker tbh
Okay mate, enjoy and stay safe 😊🙏🇬🇧
you've done that before haven't you ? putting your specs on with one hand and possibly the less dominant
Yes mate I do it a lot but usually when I have something like the camera in my right hand
I was there in 1996 amazing place chitwan. Lots of wildlife. If your offered cheap dodgy tours into the park don't do it.
Thanks mate, it is beautiful isn’t it and so relaxing. I have done the jeep safari but that’s it.
I did that and ended up a tree with a rhino below😮
@@philipk9783 I had a similar experience
Good name for hotel same likee you rhino hide for doing pakistani not many would do that country onwards good luck
Thanks Robert, it is very fitting for the area mate
Do you have PayPal Rich? I’d be happier knowing you get the full amount of any donations I send. How much percentage do you get from super thanks on here?
Hi mate, yes UA-cam super thanks take 45% its scandalous but buy me a brew only take 10. I will be getting a PayPal link up within the next few days hopefully. Thanks
Get your missing teeth. Go to a Dentist. It will help you in eating food & improve your speech.
Not possible
Nepalese temple balls.😂😂😂😂😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
🤣👌🏻👍🏻⚫️
I work at a busy uk tourist attraction and youtubers annoy the crap out of me tbh richy.
GoPros freak most people out and attract huge attentio, so to expect poitive responses is naive.
A few ideas: clip on cam that's less obv/ stealthy.
Print some thankyou cards with lucky mantra on to hand out in exchange for poking that bloody thing into ppls faces.
Slow down and film interesting shop fronts and architecture (again a stealth hd cam MUCH better)
Much of your talk is obsessed with prices. I'd rather see you talk to that lovely woman in that fantastic little cafe you sat in, or cam the room and view so we can chill with you.
Don't be afraid to film slow calm long shots. Your posts are quite manic.
Also stop judging how great or bad your encounters are. The world is the same EVETYWHERE. It's easy to find conflict - it's about your attitude to it, not the obvious conflict.
We’ve been through this before mate and unfortunately it’s going to be the same response. My channel is about showing the sights and prices for every budget of travelling a lot of people really like that, because one person doesn’t will not change what I do. I can’t please all of the people all the time and I’m far from naive to think I can, at not point do I point my camera in anybody’s faces in fact far from I am very respectful. I hope this has put this to bed and I don’t have to repeat myself. Thank you I respect everybody’s point of view and I expect them to respect mine. Aww one last thing I don’t do gawping ever at girls either it’s just not me.
