Hey guys, sorry for pinning this comment on all videos but I want to give you an update on the channel. I've been slowly adding a show archive to the videos including a full transcript added as sub titles and a full track listing (with links to UA-cam videos for each track). @@MIKE-TYTHON Tbf, it does need to happen. Karl does it as well, but maybe mote subtley. But if Karl's telling a story, Rick's definitely not going to be thinking about anything other than having a laugh, so it's kinda gotta be Steve really.
This is possibly the best show they’ve ever done. A few highlights:

@Jacob Jaywant I think the point is they really don't care, they didn't get paid for these shows and most of time rely on Karl to maintain some semblance of order, whether he was or wasn't it's pretty funny

Daisy Chambers definitely! There's the early one that got a complaint about cocks that really makes me laugh and there's an episode basically taking advantage of the fact you can't libel the dead for most of its content that really makes me howl too

It might be my favourite XFM episode. It’s one of the most shambolic shows and therefore one of the funniest! Ricky still slightly pissed from the night before, Steve not wanting to be there and Karl talking even more arse than usual makes for a classic.

This is my favourite XFM show. Ricky being hungover just pushes it over the top.

The Shadow story is one of my favourite bits from any of these shows
I try to get friends to get turned on to these guys and that is the one clip that gets everyone laughing. Other than that, and you guys, I can’t find anyone who has the capacity to appreciate the comedic brilliance of this show from ’02 from a “tin pot London radio station”.
I just love this episode. The utter self indulgence and chaos is just beautiful.

Gotta hand it to him, Ricky can deploy dead air to devastating hilarity. As much as I hate the ruthless treatment Karl endures at times, when his absurd statements are met with a few seconds of silence and a deadpan response I crack up.
The tomato story is actually true. Wealthy Europeans in the 1700s often served tomatoes on lead plates and well, the rest you've heard Karl say. I just love how Karl is right more times than Ricky and Steven give him credit for.

He wasn't right, he said it was in England and/ or Britain - with no dates - means he was wrong. He had the tomato bit right, but as he said it was in Britain, the other 2 would obviously have heard about it if it'd happened in Britain, which is why they ridiculed it. I love Karl, but he didn't get it right.
