I’m glad that Dark Knight rises scene is in here, I remember audibly laughing during her death scene cause it was done so poorly otherwise love the movie
I never picked up on how terrible it was when I first saw it. Must been by that point my brain had switched itself to the off position. Though in recent years I've kind of developed a fondness for Rises as being shlock.
The one with the bloke saying "The master wouldn't approve" etc. then the couple are like "We were only asking for directions to the town" is hilarious.
The actor in that first clip definitely deserves an Oscar for greatest performance by an actor ever. All other actors should study that clip to improve on their acting skills.

The actor in Manos: Hands of fate was high on acid during the entire filming of the movie. Most-to all of his dialogue was completely improvised and reworked to fit in.
That's what I thought as I watched it, I thought the guy seemed to be making a huge effort to say his lines under the influence of the acid, plus the body spasms were so evident. Scary.
I feel like some of these awkward scenes aren’t necessarily because the actors are terrible but rather it’s the editing, camera work and dialogue that makes it shit.
In Breen's case there's also a massive issue with his delivery, he sounds so boring and flat, there's zero emotion to anything he says and it feels like he has little to no training.

Working in film I can tell you good editing helps with 80% of the awkwardness but the rest is up to the writing and acting.
