Love when you do these old vs new comparaison test. Keep doing them, they are my favorite. Would love if you would include 1 more generation, like the Radspeed in this case. Nobody are doing this among your peers. I think you would get more audience! Keep up the good work, love watching your reviews.
I went from F9 to the LTDx and noticed a better dispersion and slight yardage gain (could have been just better strikes). Just from seeing your test, I don't think the Aerojet is worth 'upgrading' to from the LTDx. For me, the LTDx looks better as I'm not a fan of that glossy head on sunny days.
Sorry to a pain, Mike, but I wouldn't mind a comparison between the Speedzone and Aerojet. I believe most golfers don't change their drivers every year, they're more likely to change it every 3 or 4 years (in my opinion). Great review and you still have one of the smoothest swings on YT, bar none.
This is finally the video I have been waiting for. Thanks for filming this always interested in how it compares to the old version and if it’s worth upgrading.
..just ordered an LTDx LS, still a great driver with numbers on par to Aerojet and while I like the looks of Aerojet better, there are great deals on the LTDx line now, with same performance...
Never thought I'd buy a Cobra club, but after buying some F8 woods a few years back, I was sold and knew my next driver would be a Cobra. Tried these both yesterday and I liked both, but there was something about the LTDx sound off the face that I actually, seemed a bit duller which I favor. Both had similar yardages, so I guess either will work just fine. Good review, like the content!
Looks like i did right. After 6 years gaming a Ping i decided get a new one. After Release of the Aerojet i bought last week a LTDx with discount. Saved me 200 € :)
I am really looking forward to you doing a review of the Callaway Paradym. Surprised you haven’t. When do think this will be Mike. Then you could, test against Rouge ST. Always enjoy your reviews. Look forward to the next.
I have the ltd x ls ....I think I'm going to get the ltdx and save some$$. I want just a little more stability for some of the narrower courses I play. The LS has been the longest driver I've ever owned but I can have some days where it's a bit of a wilder pony. I also won't buy anyone's driver that has a high gloss top
Nice review Michael on Cobra Drivers, but for me I still use the Cobra F 9 which gets close to those results and it's paid for....Drivers are getting too expensive to change every one to two years for just a yard or so difference....Thanks...
I can't imagine it's ever worth upgrading after only 1 season using a driver. Maybe switching to a different brands driver but the same company is not going to make huge improvements in less than 12 months IMO. I went from a Ping G425 to Cobra LTDX LS and gained a lot of distance but I doubt I'd see anything different if I had went to Ping G430 or now Aerojet. Every 2-3 years grab a used one and save a ton of $
Plus 10% off if you sign up on their email list. Mine arrives tomorrow. Got it for $330 out the door. Great deal given the price of drivers these days!
How about you do a last 5 review. Do each brands last 5 drivers. Would love to see something lik the ping 400 vs the 430. Or the m6 vs stealth 2. Or even F9 vs Aerojet
Good review mike, Please test the new tout edge C723 that just come out, Your reviews are so informative and interesting in to watch, Keep the good content coming !!
Nice review Mike. Have you got your hands on the fairways and hybrids yet? I think it would be interesting to see how they compare. I've always felt that Cobra drivers launched fairly low and didn't spin very much, at least for me. Do you feel the same?
To be honest, I don't fork out money every year for the latest driver, so as long as my LTDx is good enough, that's great. It'll have to last me a while.
Thanks for these tests. I have played some with an LTDX LS which I also like a lot. Tried AERO LS and felt I could hit it slighly better, lower spin on average vs an already low spin on the ltdx ls. And felt slightly more forgiving on lower face hits. I have a swing speed around 135 mph and I guess the aero ls version works good for me, but maybe not for everyone.
@@tezzlacoilz Thanks! Althogh Bryson can probably hit it about 140 mph even with a "game driver" (his 48" swing is around 145-150 I think). I guess it's easier to swing 135 practising on ranges and at indoor facilities, than average it on a tour, which he almost did :)
Why can't they just make one driver with two weights in the front and one in the back, with multiple weight options. Then, as my swing changes from time to time, I can change it around to help me as I see fit?
Strange how completely opposite looks opinion can be from person to person. The Areojet is so ugly to me I would be hesitate to ever purchase one. And the LTD is one of the more sexy Drivers I've ever seen 🤷♂️
Well.. It's looking more and more like the majour manufacturers are hitting the overall performance wall for drivers. It shouldn't be surprising that 2022 models and 2023 models are virtually the same in the data. So where too for manufacturers from here. From where I sit as a player custom shaft fit as a standard rather than an option is pretty much all that's left. Let's see how many years it takes for them to catch on and make that shift. Are we going to tolerate and put up with the bullshit marketing they have employed to oversell each years new model. And the irons are pretty much the same. If you take the time to test hit irons there isn't much difference between them, except price and we are getting reamed on the front every year.

@@MichaelNewtonGolf Id like to hear about any forgiveness differences between Radspeed and Aerojet, gotta be a difference? :)
@Michael Newton Golf
I just bought Radspeed xb for au $399 vs pre order aero jet for $899 Oz dollars Just value in my opinion.

I agree.
I’d love a comparison to the F9! Still one of the best Cobra drivers ever
it may be that the LTD LS had better numbers and he chose not to highlight that against the new one.
This is finally the video I have been waiting for. Thanks for filming this always interested in how it compares to the old version and if it’s worth upgrading.
Glad it helped 👍
..just ordered an LTDx LS, still a great driver with numbers on par to Aerojet and while I like the looks of Aerojet better, there are great deals on the LTDx line now, with same performance...
Just ordered my LTDx in blue. Got it for $330 out the door with the 10% new customer discount. Can't wait until it arrives tomorrow!
Would love to see you review the brand new Wilson Staff Model putter range. They brought back the 8802🤗

Looks like I will be gaming the LTDX LS another year!
Great driver
Wish the LTDx LS was also included since you had the Aerojet LS.
Thank you for the comparison. I'll save $200.00 and buy the LTDx LS

What is your handicap? Trying to decide between LS and max myself
Those new Aero-Mavericks are great for the right person.
I have the standard LTDx and still love it. Would like to try the Aerojet, but no intention of upgrading for a while yet.
Nice review Michael on Cobra Drivers, but for me I still use the Cobra F 9 which gets close to those results and it's paid for....Drivers are getting too expensive to change every one to two years for just a yard or so difference....Thanks...
I moved to the LTDx Max last season from the RadSpeed XB, saw a big improvement across the board. Not sure if Aero will help much more.
I wouldn't worry about it
I just won a ltdx max driver and it’s replacing the same radspeed. Was worried I might not like the feel.

Will you be doing the paradyn review at all ?
Like your reviews alot and want to see your opinion of the callaway
Yes soon 👍

Michael, nice front to back dispersion on all 3
I need to know you have to choose between the Aerojet standard or Mizuno STX230 what ya taking ?? Minus you not liking the Mizuno shaft length lol
😂 Mizuno 👍
@@MichaelNewtonGolf awesome didn’t expect that but definitely helps out .
@@MichaelNewtonGolf the forgiveness of the STX230 is pretty high ?
Hit the Aerojet yesterday thought it felt a lot better (not as harsh) than the LTDx. Spin was more consistent too across the face.
Good sound nice looks
What a swing!!!
What shaft and flex did you use?
Do a 2016 OG M2 vs stealth 2 please!
Are we gonna get a paradym review? Been waiting for your take on them. ⛳️

Swing speed of 135mph... That's faster than Bryson dechambeau and about 20mph faster than the average for the PGA! Pretty impressive

Peter finch review he said they was very hard to hit. Made for very low handicappers
Any chance of a video on the new Callaway hybrids and fairways? Cheers :)
On my list to do 👍
Great comparison but take a shot for every time Mike says ‘sort of’ 😂
Why did you not use the LTDx ls?
Because the Std version suits a wider audience 👍
That LS head looks like a Krank driver head. Now that I see it. 😆
Paradym v Rogue next?
I’ll stick with my LTDx…3 yds not enough to justify $600 purchase.
Honestly? When you look below ypu will see a message i win a driver? I think its fake or?
Pretty sure the Aerojet was just supposed to be for more forgiveness not to be better than Ltdx

The bloody neck in these gives me anxiety … they didn’t finish it off properly, when I tested it i couldn’t get it out of my eye once i seen it
Everyone knows the LTDx is the best driver in the last decade.
Same old same old
