Floor looks good with out a doubt. You did a good job for first timer. I do this for a living. Just a couple things you could of done a little different. You should of diamond ground it first to open up the pores in the concrete. Acid wash works but you have to make sure you neutralize it 100% or it'll start failing. Last I would of put a polyaspartic top coat. Single components won't hold up over time. Again great job on the floor

The new shop will take your video's to the next level. Nice work, looking forward to the next build. I am finishing off one ton axles on my jeep YJ and getting it back on the road, I am thinking about a Willys truck stretch to a 4 door and updated amenities (Power seats/windows and AC). You are Jonathan are fun to watch as regular guys fumbling your way through builds. Hawaii?? Are/Were you military? (28 years Navy, did a 4 year stretch on The Rock in the early 90's).

Thanks for the informative videos. Very nicely done!! In one of the videos you indicate that you will be moving and building a larger shop some day. I would recommend that if you have a similar situation on your next build, that you would cut down the other trees that come that close to your building. I am sure that it would require a tree service to remove them now. Also, pay for some fill to be brought in to raise the finished floor level to be several inches above the surrounding area. You mentioned that the line on the fence is a water level that is reached several times each year. It appears that the drainage that you installed around your building will completely fill up during those times, rendering the floor of your shop under water. I hope I am wrong on this. Bringing in several truck loads of sand or crushed stone/crushed concrete prior to pouring your shop floor would raise the finished level and fully prevent that water from coming in without having to put in so much of the drainage to the outside of the building. Very nicely done videos and very beautiful shop. I will be researching the red iron buildings for a build that I plan on doing in the next couple of years. Thanks!!

A tip when you restore a car is not only the appearance, I give you a key if you start and drive, always rebuild the gearbox or transmission and engine, so it is in good condition, you go straight to the point and you don't waste time and money is just what You have to save repair the most fundamental engine and box the details are minor painting and beautification of the last

The reason you had the leftover primer is because you need to break it up per quantity and footage, usually I mark out areas with some pieces of tape. It looks nice but I don’t like the flecks for the automotive shop because it makes small hardware difficult to see. I did my automotive shop 3000’, woodshop 2000’, attached garage 1150’, and boat parking and compressor and generator rooms 770’.
