It's worth adding he owns an expensive coaching company that can fund any short comings. I'm sure no one was missing a meal during the super hard "start up time"... not taking anything away but when you have the network and connections he does and the sales pitch matched with the cash flow to go heavy, anything is possible. This isn't a start at the bottom success story.
And he woke up one day and magically had said successful coaching company? Or maybe he was born with said company like an appendage? Stop being so small minded and taking away accomplishments. He was successful in that endeavor, and that experience carried over into his new venture 🙄
@LSA chronicles He makes more from coaching/mastermind stuff than the business was the lesson here. If you haven't attended some of his events then you wouldn't know. Nothing wrong with the hustle, just wanting to point out his did not start the coating business bootstrapping and grinding it out. He bank rolled the concept from 0-100 overnight with his major network of other deep pocketed business owners and connections made where?? Through the conquer group. Again, not saying he isn't successful, just saying he wasn't in the trenches eating Ramen while starting wise coatings. It launched as a successful, funded venture. Success is easy when you have thousands paying you $800-1000+ per month to be in your mastermind groups. It's hard to fail when you have the cash flow and network of people to implement an idea full-bore from the jump. You drastically diminish any struggle season getting the money flowing. It's no different opening additional locations of a successful franchise vs. Grinding it out for a lifetime with a small mom and pop shop. If you got the coin to get yourself a coating business, get after it. Your videos about your journey would be great to see from someone starting actually from scratch.
So what’s the takeaway here, skill compounds & leverage is gained by having a crack & doing the work to build these businesses. Even if it is true that he had cash backups, nobody can gift you the skillsets that it takes to run & automate a successful business, he obviously has all of the skillsets so i think it makes no difference if you focus on that
I appreciate his vision. From experience you can have access to alot of finance but lack the vision or know-how. His vision grew in his apprenticeship, yes it was his dad but anyone can go out and learn. The man is a success story and he has inspired me who lives in NIGERIA. His vision and application for marketing/branding wasn't inherited. I wish to build something like Brandon or better. I come in peace in the name of Christ Jesus 🙏❤️

You think this guy was hands off? He seemed pretty involved in the process. Even paid $2000.00 on a course to learn how to apply the product to the floor. In a service based industry, you got to be hands on, otherwise your business is not going to excel. Once you built up a good enough working model, and can begin to expand, that's when you can remove yourself from the frontline operations. But until then, you got to get dirty with everyone.
Guys, let me tell you. I just learned more about business than in the last 100h of business, coaches, mentors or any other video that I have watched. this literally shows that money isn't the only thing to get things going, yet a vision truly plays a huge role. Franchise is absolutely helpful as it builds wealth more effectively long term. Sadly, few people are into it due to lack of knowledge and poor mindset. Also, when it comes to business foundation, a system is the very first thing one needs to consider wisely. Marketing to employees is as simple as good wages with reasonably communicated expectations and disciplines. 401ks, insurance, are all old news. Walmart offers a 401k plan for their employees.
I am a small coating company in Pennsylvania. I use moisture vapor barrier epoxy as my standard basecoat. How does your polyaspartic basecoat hold up to possible moisture?
@@ThomasGerlach4Tri Just curious so youre saying polyaspartic coating is trash? If so then sounds like someones going to be in a world of hurt in few years with their lifetime warranty.
so as a franchise owner, you can make 3000 per day on average which is 15,000 per week before paying employees and everything else plus you’re gonna need a van it honestly sounds like the only winner is the franchise owner. Although if you want to accompany/feel like you’re working for someone else and have a basically supervisor and get off the tools. It’s not the worst deal. The more crews you have working for you the better.

Great video with enormous amount of information. Okay, I am very observant. How were the technicians able to sand and coat the flooring under the toolboxes on the back wall?
Did you or your individuals in your team, need any sort of licenses, certificates, or anything required from municipality, or other boards? For instance, electricians need a license to work inside houses and work with electricity. Same for plumbers, how about your business?
Yes, businesses should take responsibilities seriously and ensure that all required licenses and certifications are in place for their team's safety and compliance.

Trying to find the dunzo software as well. Doesn’t come up on google and not in the resource list. Keep us posted!
See the description again ;)
The site is godunzo
My husband and I have a business and we are adding this service. This video is very encouraging !!! And John Don is awesome! We took a few classes there recently for epoxy flooring and counter tops.
Hey Breezy, What business are you and your husband already into ?
Where can you take the class at

I have all the equipment for sale if you want. 2 floor cleaners, 7 scrubbers, a burnisher, a 20kva 3phase generator (diesel block, runs on propane), 12000 w 1 phase generator, 3 grinders, 2 3phase dust collectors, 5 horsepower 3phase air compressor, a shot blaster, a few dozen sets of diamonds... also a 1998 isuzu NPR with 14ft bed (brand new tires and a new engine). Plus more accessories and the like.
Do you need a contractor license to start an epoxy business like this? Any chance you can help me out? I just did my own epoxy metallic ocean floor at home. First time looks great. I like the creative and labor part of their job. Feeling passionate about it
Marketing to employees is as simple as good wages with reasonably communicated expectations and disciplines. 401ks, insurance, are all old news. Walmart offers a 401k plan for their employees.
Who did he use for the vehicle branding and leasing?
Does anybody have an answer to that?
I am a small coating company in Pennsylvania. I use moisture vapor barrier epoxy as my standard basecoat. How does your polyaspartic basecoat hold up to possible moisture?
Let's be honest, we know this product doesn't hold up. No vapor barrier, no top coat, and the flood coat looks razor thin
Dici il Vero! Ma se no era presente umidità di risalita, la barriera vapore non è indispensabile.
@@ThomasGerlach4Tri Just curious so youre saying polyaspartic coating is trash? If so then sounds like someones going to be in a world of hurt in few years with their lifetime warranty.
I dont think he cares. Like he said whoever markets the best wins
so as a franchise owner, you can make 3000 per day on average which is 15,000 per week before paying employees and everything else plus you’re gonna need a van it honestly sounds like the only winner is the franchise owner. Although if you want to accompany/feel like you’re working for someone else and have a basically supervisor and get off the tools. It’s not the worst deal. The more crews you have working for you the better.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
How do you find the correct product to use? There are so many and I don't know which to use
“But when you show up in this…” clown car 😂 13:30
price way too high. I paid $1700 for my two car garage floors and I love❤them
Please do an interview with a powder coating company!
We'd love to SnotCat Gaming. 😀Thank you for tuning in. Can you send us the contact info and more details to media@upflip.com?
Wow, very well produced video. Great content
That's something I been interested in learning to bring that out to New York and the Dominican Republic🙏
Can or do you recycle ♻️ the dust from grinding? 🤔 could you reuse it to make concrete?
Its a great business. No need for all the marketing fluff in my area in order to really scale up though this is the way!
Which area are you in?
I’m in appliance repair, would be interested in a video in that domain. The laundromat ones were great.
Wonderful I am willing to be trained for this one I can do it. It is simple and easy
What a great business and entrepreneur
Holy cow.. 6M/Year is INSANE!
It really is!
That's what successful franchises do. They are wealth generators for the owners.
@@giovannigiorgio8962 exactly. Ask each franchisee, and every employee how much they make. Then have them watch how much the boss makes. Then u have created many entrepreneurs ha ha
@@donotrobme9295 As a business owner myself this exact thing makes me sick, hearing other business owners talk about branding, core values and whos a good fit and whos not until you find how much they pay their employees then your gut reaction is just ah GTFo.
He's only keeping 25% of that before marketing
So easy that all your employees will start the same business on their own.
I’d be curious how much that Portland shop cost to build. It seems ideal for getting started.
This is awesome, almost like the rocky success story of a business. I will have to look into this.
Thank you for your feedback! We encourage you to further explore the topic and delve into the details. Happy watching!
How did you learn to do the job to a quality standard? I have wanted to do this in my country but I won't to know how to do it properly and have the best finish.
Why throw flake out by hand? Would one of those lawn seed throwers do a better job?
This was very well done and seemed to answer all of the key questions. Bravo! Makes me want to commit and franchise. Sheeeeesh 🎉
Thank you for sharing guys. All the best WISE
Fantastic and unbelievable.
Very inspiring!
What I got was marketing over product or quality.
Ciao in Italia le usiamo poco, domani inizierò a testarle e pubblicherò un video sul canale. Ottimo lavoro, bel video!
Wow, remarkable attention to detail!
Can you a real deal locksmith? Like a guy with a van of everything for programming keys and everything?
Great video with enormous amount of information. Okay, I am very observant. How were the technicians able to sand and coat the flooring under the toolboxes on the back wall?
they didnt,xD
IS it possible to do epoxy floor during the winter? If someone can answered me, Im from Canada,

Less about the temperature, more about moisture

He really knows his stuff! Hope you learned a thing or two from him. ☺️
20:18 whole business holding on the guys like those. $15 per hour and hard hard hard physical work
Did you or your individuals in your team, need any sort of licenses, certificates, or anything required from municipality, or other boards? For instance, electricians need a license to work inside houses and work with electricity. Same for plumbers, how about your business?
Yes, businesses should take responsibilities seriously and ensure that all required licenses and certifications are in place for their team's safety and compliance.
Can't find the Dunzo software website details in the resource section under description. Can you advise the dunzo website details, can't find in search
We'll ask Brandon and update the description soon!
I was also trying to find that web site.
this sounds cool but they need to train their franchisees again I had them scheduled to come out to do an estimate at my home I get there at the appointment time nobody shows up nobody calls I have to call them to find out what happened and I got some response about how she didn't get the appointment blah blah blah so I pretty much decided to go with somebody else after that.

Dunzo handles the automations but which company is it connected with that actually sends the gift cards and brownies?
What license do you need to start in epoxy industry. I live in California.
Please consult with your local business lawyers so they can walk you through the processes and the requirements needed. It varies per state. Hope this helps! ☺️
É muito bom ver essas histórias de sucesso.
