    Must be a joy to work with epoxy, the finish product looks class.

    • @Zomby_Woof
      @Zomby_Woof 3 роки тому +1

      It looks great, but it's not the joy to work with that it might appear.
      The fumes are terrible.
      Paint fumes I can tolerate epoxy makes me feel like I have pneumonia.
      Don't get it on anything you don't mean too - if you do, just throw it away.
      Once it dries, you'll need an angle grinder to dislodge it.
      And vertical surfaces are a special problem.
      It will run and sag almost so long as it takes to cure.
      I used to use it to encapsulate marine fuel lines.
      It would drip off the lines, forming sharp stalagtites that I would have to grind off, otherwise if you ran a hand along the pipe it would be shredded.
      It's a material with some unique properties, but you have to have the right application, tools and technique.

    How do you prevent bleeding to an adjacent floor? I really need to do this to my plain concrete floors next to my terrazzo floors!

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  2 роки тому

      Epoxy has a slip resistance similar to tile! We do have a grit additive that can be mixed into the urethane topcoat to help with slip resistance, and has a slight sandpaper texture!

    How slippery is the surface?

    @chrislinhart5553 4 роки тому

    Why are you applying the alcohol? Do you need it to completely dry before applying urethane?

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  4 роки тому

      He is applying the alcohol to give it dispersing effects. Once you apply the epoxy you will wait one day then apply the urethane top coat.

      @@LeggariProducts WOW! You are prompt.. Thank you... Very impressed with your products online. I've installed an EpoxyMaster floor in my existing home about 3 yrs ago. I'm building a new home in Florida now. New concrete, (90 days - 120 days old) do you think a liquid etch would suffice or does it need sanded? Also I couldn't find on the website where to find the gritty no slip oxide? Do you offer that additive?

    • @LeggariProducts
      @LeggariProducts  4 роки тому

      @@chrislinhart5553 We still do recommend diamond grinding the surface to get rid of any imperfections on the concrete and to open the pours for the primer to adhere to. Yes we do have the grit additive for the urethane top coat. When you place an order on the website at leggari.com on the check out page there will be a note section and just put in the notes that you want the urethane top coat with the grit additive and they will put it in the kit.
