Wow finally ! I cant tell u how many times I've heard in aikido class "I'm looking to rediscover the more martial side of aikido " but the ppl that say that still repeat the same stuff . As someone that practices aikido and Jiu-jitsu (both modern/ Gracie & traditional ) I can really appreciate this approach and see success with it . Good stuff . Oss!
Bruce Bookman where have you been all my aikido life!? I could watch this stuff all day. Aikido really needs this kind of approach to move it on and it seems you are doing exactly that. Bravo. Lenny Sly also had a different approach which has been great to follow but his channels gone quite lately and left a big void. Keep doing what you are doing.
I've heard nothing but good things about the Aikido Extensions course, from everyone I've asked. Will definitely get it once money is a little less of an issue for me.
I'd want some kind of hard copy or at the very least downloadable media for that kind money to be honest, so i could watch it years later and wouldn't have to worry about a website staying open etc. I don't think i'll be the only potential punter in this category.
We can understand that point of view. If we ever were to phase our the online service though, we'd first provide downloadable copies to everyone. Also, Aikido Journal has been around for 44 years and even people who purchased products years ago on older platforms are still able to access their content so we have a decent track record of an operating history without products disappearing on people :)
"He can't resist in two directions at one time." And there you have it.

Thank you very much !
Makiwara hands!
Is everything actually downloadable or do you have to watch the videos through the 'Aikido Journal' website?
The course is (unlimited) streaming only via the website. It's all mobile responsive and runs well on phones, laptops, or large format TVs..

Sensei Bookman to hit his opponent in the face at 1:16 with the left to create space for Shinonage. He is missing Nishio's atemi.

Is nobody talking about how hot he is?
he's a good-lookin' older guy for sure!!
