We are Jacob and Jenny, a husband and wife passionate about traveling the world. We started uploading in May, 2021 with a goal to see as much of the globe as possible. After visiting Costa Rica and French Polynesia, the time was right to quit our full-time jobs, so we left everything to travel and have loved every minute of it. Our goal is to make it to all seven continents and visit as many countries as possible. Follow along and be a part of the journey!

hello guys hope you have enjoy it Afurada is the place you have been is Gaia city , the name of the food you have eaten was rojões is a typical north region plate .What she ate was a pig intestine, the meat is the belly, the darkest part is not seasoning, but the pig's blood. This region is starting to get a lot of tourists, but thank you very much for your video, we really appreciate it, you will always be welcome. If you need help, just get in touch.
This is all so great to know, thank you very much for the information! We loved that area, it was beautiful. And thank you for your offer, we will :)
Ja que quer ser tao minucioso ao dizer ATENÇÃO QUE AFURADA É DE GAIA, NÃO É PORTO, ENTAO DIGA QUE AFURADA É AFURADA TOUT COURT. QUANDO SE FALA EM AFURADA NINGUEM SE LEMBRA DE GAIA.AFURADA É AFURADA.
Really nice landscape, happy journey.
Fun video! Would have loved more details on where you stayed, did it have a kitchenette? Thanks! We will definitely visit the non touristy side of Porto!
We stayed at Ibis budget! It was fine, but definitely nothing special, no kitchenette. Pretty small room, but affordable haha! So glad you enjoyed the video! Thanks for watching :)
Love it! Been looking at going there.
It is a wonderful place!! Enjoy it when you go :)
Beautiful!
It is such a great place!! Thanks for watching friend :)
We’ve just seen you two on Wity Travels (love those guys) and now you’re in one of our favourite cities! We love the food there too. We had Sangria when we were in Porto too, and it was good! Love the prices in Portugal too! We didn’t do a river cruise, we’ll do that for sure next time. You’ve made us want to bust out the Port! Cheers 🍻
They are the best! We love them!! The sangria was so delicious there! Porto has such a fun vibe and delicious food!! Cheers friends 🍻
The buildings are so cute!!
Omg I can’t believe he would do that to you w the pork belly! 😮
Do some laundry, that’s so fun!!
The buildings were so cute!!! The pork belly was honestly the worst, I was so mad 😂
11:32 - That's not Porto, that's Gaia. It's a completely different city, a different municipality and a different county. According to the video you guys never set foot in Porto, so technically the title is wrong.
14:36 - That person was right, you guys were very lucky to find a place to stay in Gaia and enjoy a calmness that would be impossible to enjoy in Porto.
It is a wonderful place. We really enjoyed it! Thanks for watching :)
Correção: Gaia completamente diferente do Porto..m
My husband and I just discovered your channel, you popped up, I guess, because we live in Portugal. (Originally from Ohio) Really enjoyed your video and hope you continue to enjoy Portugal!
Thanks friend!! We loved Portugal, especially all the delicious food there! So glad you were able to find our channel, thanks so much for watching :)
@@JacobandJennyTravel Enjoy your travels!
You two looked so tired after the boat ride. Maybe you were very relaxed after all that wine. 😅Anyway, it looks like a very pretty area. Thanks for sharing. ❤
Hahaha the heat, hills and wine got to us😂 thanks for watching ♥️
I love Afurada
We had such a great time here! Thanks for watching :)
Vinho do Porto - It's a liqueur wine. Typically it's drunk as an aperitif or digestive, in small glasses.
That sounds great! We will have to try that! Thanks for the information :)
Jenny, you should have drunk straight from the Sangria picture! That meal was pricey, but it does come with near death experiences. Love that they kept the old school washing area. We would so try to do laundry there!
Hahaha ♥️ the near death experience cost extra 😂 it was so cool!
@@JacobandJennyTravel 😂
Nice hairstyle jenny, i love it
You are so kind, thank you very much :)
Thanks for taking us along. I’ve seen very little of Porto in videos and tv. The neighborhood streets look welcoming and that skyway looks cool. Some of my favorite travel memories involve making friends with other travelers. A few we’ve actually stayed friends with. Just random luck of the draw throws you together and any one small thing like a missed cab, a red light or long wait at a cross walk, stopping to look in a store window, where you sit on a boat or train and the meeting never happens. Or with completely different people. And I agree with Jenny - pork belly is a hard pass. 🤢 I also agree with Jason - just say NO to olives! 🤐
We totally agree! It is always so fun to share experiences with new friends and fellow travelers! We are so thankful for all the people we have met in our travels! And for all the people who we get to share the experiences with on UA-cam :) hahahaha pork belly is a hard pass. I will eat all the olives for you and Jacob haha!! 🫒
Hello Jacob and Jenny 💕 Greetings from Finland 🇫🇮We like to whats your videos.Hello🤗From: Johanna and Esa 💕
Hi Johanna and Esa ♥️ we are so happy you like our videos. We love Finland so much and will actually be back in a little over a month! 🇫🇮
Don't people in the US learn to use cutlery? They can't even hold a fork and knife.
We are doing just fine, but thanks for your concern!
Seriously? I've been in Europe for four years now and have met people from many countries, had meals with them, and we all hold our silverware differently. Who really cares? It's about the meal and the company!!
@@AndNowIWrite There is only one correct way to hold the cutlery, some know it, others don't and those who don't know have terrible table manners.
@kappa2ou3 There's etiquette of course, but different cultures have different styles. My South African and German friends' manners match mine, but my British and Danish friends do not. To my British friends, I'm a heathen for eating fries with my fingers. I've dined with people from many cultures and I would not judge anyone for the way they hold their cutlery. I didn't say there's no such thing as manners, only that I feel the meal and company are more important.
@@AndNowIWrite There is no different styles, there’s only the correct styles and the wrong one. This happens because some parents teach their children how to hold cutlery correctly and other parents don't even care.
Porto-Gaia does not exist. Porto and Gaia are two different cities
Good to know!
Guys for God sake..if u wanna taste portuguese cuisine try to get out of the main touristic zones.
👍🏼
