Why you should NOT SKIP the Snæfellsnes Peninsula when visiting Iceland!

Snæfellsnes Peninsula in Iceland is very diverse and there is a lot of things to see, like Lóndrangar, Djúpalónssandur, Dritvik, Svörtuloft, Skálasnagi, Svöðufoss, Kirkjufell, Ytri Tunga, Arnarstapi, Rauðfeldsgjá, Snæfellsjökull, Vatnshellir Lava Cave, Gatklettur and of course very spectacular Lava Fields!
If you are planning to go to Iceland, Snæfellsnes should definitely be included in your itinerary!

Thanks! We were there the second week of June. We stayed for 3 nights so had 2 full days. Day 1 we barely went outside because of horrible weather, so we were very thankful to have a nice second day to do this trip!
