Oishi and Jack&Jill are the two leading brands in Filipino snacks. I definitely recommend trying more Oishi snacks, my favorite is "Pillows" which has an Ube flavor, nothing can get more Filipino than that 😆
Inipit, Cheese cup cake by lemon square, magic flakes cheese, Bread Pan Sour Cream and Onion, Cream O, Nissin chocolate wafer, fudgee bar, pretzels, stick-o different flavors, lava cake, these are some of my favorite and v cut which u tried, chi’s curls, Miggos cheese, Piattos, chiz it, dingdong, boy bawang, nagaraya, yeah pillows Ube and pillows chocolate and yan yan, hello wafer, nips, croissini, sky flakes condensed flavor, chocolate chip (white packaging), clover cheese, Fishda.
The bottled version of Red Horse has an urban legened where if you get a bottle with a smiling horse logo, it will have a stronger kick because it is said to have Gin mixed in. It is known as the Happy Horse.
When I’m in the Philippines I eat halo halo, gusto ko halo halo 😋 I like to eat carambutan and lansones fruits, boco pandan, suman latic, ube cake, ube sorbetes, lechi plan, toron loempia, shamponado, patawad sorry for the wrong spellings 😅, I’m a half Filipino from Belgium 🇧🇪 🇵🇭 . I subscribed 👍🏻 Ingat take care
We usually drink red horse with ice, it will change the taste. I know you guys dont like to have your drink be diluted by water so you drink them as chilled not with ice. But if you want to enjoy redhorse, just put it on a glass and pour some ice. Try to watch the video of Bogart the explorer titled as Filipino Drinking Etiquette. Good to know and fun to watch. Other vloggers made a content by doing a reaction video.
That's a lot for 10 bucks. Immigrated in the US, and in the US right now, 10$ you can only buy like 3 to 4 snacks, lol. If you like salt and vinegar chips, try Mang Juan. It is like a vegetarian pork rind. You guys also enjoyed the dried mangoes, so you guys should try (ripe/yellow) mangoes in the Philippines. It is way better than mangoes here in the US, which is usually imported from Mexico. Actually, you should try a lot of different fruits in the Philippines, we have a lot of good and quite unique tropical fruits there.
I know it is such a bummer how expensive things are!! It is fun when we are in other countries and can get a lot for the same price! We tried fresh mangos and they were so delicious! Thanks for your comment :)
