The last ever A380 drew a heart into the sky.

Today MSN272, the last ever A380 built, completed it's flight test program with a succesful customer acceptance flight. During the flight the Airbus testpilots decided to wish their beloved A380 a fond farewell by drawing a giant heart over north east of Germany. This is likely the very last A380 landing in XFW, the last takeoff will be the delivery flight of this aircraft later this month.

Wow, I work in a smaller airport and so I’ve never heard that distinct A380 engine sound. I’m going to have to get transferred to Heathrow for a few weeks this winter so I can work with this mighty beast of the skies.
