- Whether you buy an iPhone, MacBook, or iMac, you’ll find that they come with Apple stickers. And this has caused people to wonder why. Which is what I’ll explain in this video.

Nice to see Apple actually rewarding their loyal fan base with reasonable prices and giving them the choice to take their broken devices to third party repair shops to get repaired without putting hurdles in the way.

I think the truly revolutionary route they should take, is for the stickers to be a mandatory add on purchase for $5. Should come in its own box, naturally, to save space inside the device box so they claim to be eco-friendly, while achieving the clear opposite.

I always found it very cute that Apple actually making stickers.
My first ever Apple product was the Ipod in pink and I got a sticker.
I'm not a huge fan of Apple, but I really loved my Ipod touch 6.
But over time its battery swelled and I could no longer use it.
But today I'm using my Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra to listen to music and still enjoy my music.
I was one of those Apple Stans in the early 90s. I had studied both Apple and Microsoft OS and realized that MS was a Frankenstein system, while Apple was elegance personified. I started with the Quadra. I kept the faith through the lonely years of few apps, until the company blossomed again. I got the toilet seat laptop in blue. I got the beautiful desktop on a stand. I stood on line for the first iPhone on the first day. I have the latest iPad and I am getting the latest Apple Watch next week. And I still have every sticker.
Well whoop de freaking doo, I'm not a loyal apple fan and that stupid sticker will rot before I stick it anywhere other than the trash. If it wasn't for that $50 restocking fee that verizon charges and the other $100 in accessories which I would loose, I'd take back the iphone 14 and get an almost perfect phone that has android on it. Apple sucks the big weenie.

I actually used the sticker on my phone case, it was more of a heavy protective case and plain blue. The sticker gave it some aesthetic I guess.

If they care about the environment so much why are their products packed in so much crap, I purchased an Apple Watch recently there’s enough waste after unpacking it to fill my kitchen waste basket especially if it’s shipped to you. And their worried about power adapters it’s just another way to charge us for something they use to include with their products 🤔

The s21 ultra is a way better phone than the iPhone 12 pro Max in many ways.they are so far ahead of the iPhone that the next iPhone won't even have all of the features that the s21 ultra has now like adaptive refresh rate, 1,500 nits, 100 times zoom, 108 megapixel camera, 8K video, the smallest hole punch, on any phone, reverse wireless charging, recording from three cameras at the same time, single take mode and a macro camera. There are many more but I cannot remember them right now. When you see these features on the iPhone 14 do not think that Apple made these features because like usual they are just stealing the features from the last Samsung. Wach the video 5 ways that the Samsung s21 ultra destroyes the iphone 12 pro max. The next iphone will not have a chargeing port. Wireless charging takes twice as long to charge as wired charging wile using 74% more power and heat. it has Samsung Dex Wich turns your tv or monitor into the screen of the phone. The repairability is much easier and cheaper. Samsung has the Google ecosystem Wich in my opinion is better than the apple ecosystem

I’ve started putting the stickers I get from gift cards and devices on my iPad Pro’s Magic Keyboard. That way, the Magic Keyboard has a little pop of color, it’s clearly mine, AAAAND I feel no guilt since it’s the thing I’m most likely to throw out and replace at some point (rather than trading in or selling).
Strongly considering putting a Midnight sticker from my MacBook Air (hopefully arriving in the next few hours) on my car. I generally don’t put ANY stickers on my car, but … we’ll see!
I always place my stickers on things I like, I put one of them on my gaming headset, and low and behold I still have that same headset with the same sticker on it from 5 years ago.
I never knew what to do with mine so I'd stick them on random things around the house. Turns out my brother's friends always asked him how he got an Apple vacuum 🤣

I still have my apple stickers that came with Ipod Touch 3G and am not sure if modern stickers are any different
They come with gift cards now, too, albeit different designs. They're also almost always white, but my Midnight M2 MacBook Air came with black (well, "Midnight") ones, and I think the iMacs come with colored stickers, as well.
My favorite Apple sticker was a custom one I got off Etsy. It was the original six color design. Put it on my first iPhone (6s) with a wood-paneled skin, so it looked like the OG Apple computer, sort of. It looked great, should have stuck it in a clear case to protect the skin (they peel at the edges).
I remember those ipods back when I was a teen. I wanted them so badly. Now I got all the Apple products that I ever wanted because I am a working adult. It feels so satisfying.

i remember when i was littlle the ipad and the ipad mini had just come out and my father got both the ipad for him and the mini for me, those stickers were on the back of the mini for over a decade and still is.

I live in a fairly poor area, and I don’t put the Apple stickers on my car or other items, mainly because I don’t want to advertise that I have an “expensive Apple product.” We live in an area known for frequent break-ins, and I don’t want to tell the neighbors, “There are nice things in this house/car.”
I have a question tho, I bought a MacBook Pro in 2020 and it did not come with the stickers.. I searched hard for them too haha was this a mistake or did they stop including them in certain products?
I was one of those people who would hang around at the computer store and talk up the Mac to people. I’m pretty sure I was responsible for at least a few sales. Those years when the press had everyone nearly convinced that Apple was on its way out were rough, but of course things finally turned around-with the introduction of the iPod, the first iMacs, and certainly the iPhone.

I just got my first iPhone, iPhone 11, and am loving it, though it was smaller than I expectedd , but after putting on beautiful phone cases, I began to love it more.
its really interesting to think about the fact that Apple has or even got the specific fanbase it does, Apple users are incredibly loyal and it makes me wonder how this happened, and how its only Apple thats been able to garner that sort of audience. How? and how come we haven't really seen something else quite like it?? :0

The people who used products other than apple are called what then? Not fan? Is it regular people? I mean, there's more and more companies adopting Windows rather than Mac for their staff, a lot of people loves Windows because of gaming and so on..these kinds of people would never go the Mac, same like Mac users would never go to Windows...but Mac users are called fans, but Windows users is just a regular average joe people...go figure

But my question was more towards, why Apple is the ONLY company to have the fans that they do, given that it IS quite well deserved, im just wondering how come no other companies have tried using them as a model? and i dont just mean tech-wise, but also service-wise in how they do things. Apple has a very peculiar and particular way of handling things that make them different, but not many other companies even try going for it. Maybe to them it doesnt seem profitable? But if the rewards are so great and Apple itself is proof of that, how come ive seen almost non take the risk? its kinda weird when you think about it

As a bit of an Apple junkie, I've been watching this channel more and more lately, and now I've finally subscribed. No idea why it took me this long to do so. Great content!
I personally love the stickers that come with the Apple gift cards. I keep a balance for my various purchases and have started collecting all the different designs. I don’t remember getting a sticker with my iPhone 11 but have the decorative ones.
While Mac got me to abandon windows faster than I ever expected, I wouldn’t put a sticker on a device that also has a logo on it, and I wouldn’t put it on my car. It’s clever marketing, to see appreciation for products from the users, but I’d like a kick-back if I’m helping them to sell their stuff.
But I still keep the stickers even if I don’t peel them off.

Apple is one of the first companies I remember sending stickers with products in general. Now, in my experience, the auto parts industry and related is almost expected to send stickers with orders. But in the early 2000s I only remember getting them with Apple stuff.

the most petty thing i found out about them is how they soldered a LOT, of parts in newer MacBooks to the actual frame/motherboard, so if a component broke or smth, you would have to replace the entire section and not just the component.. Also they dont even consider the fact there isnt Apple stores everywhere, so they made it as replaced parts dont work (at least not to full potential) on iPhones, so you're obliged to take your phone to an actual apple store to fix it for you, for example if you replace your iphone camera, with another, yet same model iphone, the camera app wouldnt open/some functionalities wouldnt be available, cause its not the same serial number. So you either, go to an apple store, either ship it to them cause you're too far, or just stuck like that cause your location doesnt ship to overseas

That’s so funny. I have been an Apple user for 20+ years and since I am careful with my products, I have never needed them repaired. 😂😂 Imagine being so careless you exchange fluid technology for easy repair. SMH

I am using both Mac PC Android and IPhones now but used Mac only for years before. I like the stickers. It’s a fun addition and I used to sport one on my black SAAB back in the days. Now it’s smart to include them like with the new iMac in 2tone colors especially since they now removed the logo on the front. You can substitute it with a sticker! I hope they never stop this nod to the past. ❤️
It just baffles me how they reduce footprint in so many ways, and this is not removed. Why not make it optional, so many people simply throw them away. Give us the option reduce the waste and even their costs.
I use it when I put screen protectors on. It’s a great use to remove little dust buddies etc. I honestly think that’s the use.
The music they use for their commercials is another way of their amazing marketing. you see the ad on tv and hear it on the radio and you go "Hey, its from that Apple commercial!"
I still have them in the box of my iPhone 11. I never really knew were to put them, but the fact that they include stickers at all is really heartwarming.

@@Natan-yw3xc Actually not, I'm full of headphones and chargers from old iphones and ipads that I never even used. I've been using a 12w ipad air 2 power adapter to charge all my apple devices since that ipad was released. I don't even bother to take the chargers out of the box because I already have a good charger plugged in the wall

Apple actually offered Intel the iPhone chip contract first. Intel balked at the low price Apple wanted to pay for mobile chips.
Samsung undercut Intel's bid and made bank for years until Apple decided to design their own chips... and even then Samsung still made money in manufacturing them for Apple after that.

i worked for best buy in the phone department and every time a customer bought and iPhone we asked if they wanted the sticker and after a bit we had a pillar in the store filled with stickers lol
