This is not combat footage, nor is it in Ukraine.
This is from a crash during a training mission within Belgorod, Russia after the pilot recording struck suspended cables (likely a power line) that cut off the top fin of his tail. The other jet in this clip is his wingman, who you can hear checking in on him over the radio after he lands. Some others also mentioned that quick pull-up attempts can cause engine issues with Su-25s, explaining the small engine fire just before it strikes the ground.
This *DIDN'T* happened in Ukraine, it happened in the russian province of belgorod, the pilot was flying extremely low and hit a powerline slicing his horizontal stabilizer off (you can clearly see some part are missing if you look frame by frame at 0:04 ) it even caused a blackout in the town nearby, happarently the pilote was in a training for low flight and didn't see the cable until it was too late, he is safe which he wouldn't have been if it happened after a missile shot him down...

No, he ejected because the plane was already wobbly and going to crash. The rocket from the bottom of the ejector seat is what you're mistaking as a missile hitting the jet.
He didn't pull up on purpose. The aircraft lost it's vertical stab and rudder with it, allowing it to pitch up aggressively.

@Rico Thampaty did you look at the video until the end? theres no powerlines or powergrid around.
So according to what I see here the title is not correct. The pilot ejected AFTER he was hit. Shortly after the ejection the camera captures a glimpse of the aircraft. Which seems to be an SU-25 variant. (I am not good with russian airplanes so don't trust me on this one) You can clearly see huge chunks of the vertical stabilizer and in a few frames the entire right horizontal stabilizer missing. With those aerodynamic elements missing from the aircraft, it had little aerodynamic stability. The video seems to start shortly after the aircraft got stuck by a missile. This will probably have separated the parts of the tail and caused the aircraft to (as seen in the video) uncontrollably pitch up and yaw to the right. This is when the pilot ejected. A few moments after ejection and after the plane was visible, the camera looks back at where the aircraft came from, where there is still a plume of an explosion visible. Which verifies that the aircraft was struck roughly as the video starts or just before. Meaning the pilot ejected just after his plane became uncontrollable due to the missile strike.
Also if this is an SU-25 variant, then it's not technically a fighter jet as the SU-25 is an aircraft designed for close air support and thereby in an air to ground role and has very limited air to air capabilites.
Edit: Also if you skip though frames (pause and then press . or , repeatedly ) at 0:25 you will see the outline of another aircraft at the bottom right that this guy was probably in formation with.
Well observed, it's a SU-25 that you can see on the characteristics Pitot tube and PA-7 Pitot tub(the double horns). And he wasn't alone you can still see the other one flying away
If the horizontal stabaliser goes, you pitch down. It provides a force downwards, not upwards like the wings. Vertical stabalizer has gone. So the roll to inverted means i suspect the right wing was severly damaged, causing the roll. The pitch up might have been the pilot pulling up before the eject. That gives him more vertical speed, and hence height. When he pulled he might have found out that he had the severe damage.
Check an image of a SU-25, and you get an idea of the hight of the vert stabaliser and from the images he's missing a big chunk.
The other observation is that when he ejected the plane was largely upright, when it goes past, its inverted. That's a very fast roll rate, which is why I suspect a wing had been taken off.
Oh I thought the pilot pulled up to give himself more altitude for safe ejection
@@Nickle314 If you pause the video at the correct time, you can see both airbrakes that sit on the end of the wings, so no I don't think a wing was separated. The roll is induced only after the yaw to the right, meaning the roll is probably asymmetric stall induced, see snap rolls. Also while the plane did pitch up, it quickly exceeded the max aoa for the wing, meaning it did not generate any lift. This can be verified by noting that the aircraft did not have much or any upward trajectory after ejection.
Regarding your horizontal stabilizer comment I at the moment can't disagree with you, as I do not find a flaw in what you said, though my gut tells me that what I observed and what happened should somehow aerodynamically work. I sadly don't have the time to validate and construct a few theories around that.
Su-24 guys, not Su-25
Imagine being in a jet and suddenly to a stand still in just a few seconds. Hope their training helped and prepared them for all this.
I hope their training didn't. Yes they're all just fellow humans but they're participating in an invasion! I hope they're woefully underprepared. And in general the russian military seems to be so

It's insane how much this looks like a scene out of a movie or video game yet it is entirely real. Dude was less than a second away from the after life and count it on camera.
I’ve been flying for a couple decades now, and often don’t comment, but this video is impressive. At 00:02, looks like he hits a powerline (you can notice a black line slightly passing by the the hud). He loses control and pitches up violently. At 00:05 you can see the vertical tail with a straight in cut. The fire comes out of the engine itself, a violent pitch up can stall the compressors, or maybe an afterburner (or both). Just my thoughts, I can be wrong though, but doesn’t look like a missile strike
Hi, Mgmt Pilot. A hit with a missile and he would not run and care about filming after landing the parachute, imo.
Yes, your right, It's not a missile strike.

# Stop the war 👍
From another channel this was June/July time and inside Russia he hit a power cable lucky man!!
I often hear about fighter pilots dying because they waited too long to eject. This brings it into quick light. In the time it took his parachute to fully deploy, his jet had already hit the ground.
I mean you can eject practically last second before impact and the rockets you're sitting on should instantly separate you, change your direction of momentum, and, push you high enough to allow the parachute to work effectively. Waiting and not reactively pulling the eject after being hit is nearly just as dangerous at 20000 feet as it is at 2000 and i believe more about pilots trying to save it or maintain control of the plane when it's impossible to even know if the aircraft is in the shape to be capable of it without any risk of sudden loss of control. It's not worth the risk of finding out as sudden loss of control or just failing to maintain control due to injury or lack of experience results in losing consciousness or even just the ability to move your hands to the ejection handle due to g forces both are disastrous.
@@MrDJAK777 depends how low you are, how fast you are, and most certianly the orientation of the aircraft.
