    I loved the way they said, "And then there was the war with Denmark." It was fantastically out of left field, said in such a deliciously matter of fact way.

    It was a good day when the final Tesco store was demolished and the flag of Aldi was planted on top of the rubble.

    Nice to see both Tesco stores in Carlisle being highlighted in this video. I never trusted those pesky stores. Who knew that that would be where it all began?

    I have to admit I an pretty annoyed - not with tesco but with all those people who think Tesco is becoming too big. Tesco is a rare BRITISH success stroy - so why do we disliek it? Lets not forget Asda is owned by Walmart and that has a monopoly in America - we therfore need Tesco to stand up against Asda and Walmart!

  • @timboslayer

    I had the misfortune of going to a Tesco near Watford the other day and it was more like an airport than a shop: soulless, full of zombies who've watched too much ITV, and shitty products that nobody really needs. The car park was big enough to see from space, and must've covered enough green space to endanger several species.
    Strangely, the staff were friendlier than the other customers.
    I hate Tesco.

    kur ben hah oon the last two are fast and are often sounding like ou from house. i guess the original is correct in the land of typing errors and lack of an oe and poor attempt at phoeneticisation its probably correct. its a word that stems with german, i don't know why the danish don't like the ah sound, since its in the danish word. but i guess anglicised 'correct' place names are mostly worng anyway... whoever starting pronouncing 'the azores' as the english do is just ridiculous.

  • @mathiaspoulson

    @MegaKapser sounds like you feel sorry for yourself, take a look around... denmark isnt exactly a bad place compared to the rest of the world, war in the middle east their people are fleeing from their country and to where? to countries like denmark cus it's a better place, what about africa, with the hunger and seard for clean water is what they do all day, there are places where a government doesnt exist, stop thinking about yourself cus you are living like a king compared to everyone else....

  • @bu11monkey
    @bu11monkey 14 років тому

    nope, no flaming, but you have to look at the fact that normal people are not awarded the title 'His Excellency', I would love to have my first 100,000,000dkk tax of each year paid for by the government as a gesture of goodwill.
    the year before last the danske supermarket and maerske shipping paid absolutly no tax at all.
    This was a year that I brought a new car, so I prolly covered their tax bill for them ;-)

  • @bu11monkey
    @bu11monkey 14 років тому

    actually tesco coming to denmark might not be such a bad thing. the danske supermarket owns the 3 biggest players and it might inject some competition into the market. i am kinda fed up with looking through the reklamer every week to see whether coke is 25 dkk or 9 for example. bilka, netto and fotex run a monopoly and it is not good for the people.
    I'm english and have lived in denmark for 4 years, so i have a reasonable idea.

  • @AroundThePony

    dont got me wrong,i dont hate Denmark,i actually pretty much love it but nowadays totally changed a lot.i know cause im spending my second year here.during two years i noticed two things,first:the fact that Denmark is kinda "sinking" is because of the too much foreigner.Denmark not able to take that many people.the other,because of the "strangers" danish people is getting closed.when i`m arrived everyone were really friendly.maybe this is the third problem. Denmark is too tolerant.

    your looking in the wrong direction butty ! I'll be showing them a good landing place just north of Tenby so that we can finish off what us Celts n Vikings started in 878 ad ( In 878 AD the Britons of Wales unified with the Vikings of Denmark to destroy an Anglo-Saxon army of Mercians. ) but this time were gonna help you English out from under the yolk of Tescos by turning them into Bilka shops ( LOL )

    ...that means, that business and other companies, are not run by the government, but by regular people, so that different companies and business have competition between each other and that means that you want to do something with your life, pupils are often more concentrated.

    LOL, that is so funny. I'm from Denmark, but live in Thailand, where I would say that tesco will start there world domination from... Here you almost have as many tesco express as 7-11, even in the most remote part of the country you can find an tesco express. But funny movie :)

    In what world is "ko-bem-hah-oon" correct? Technically it's probably alright to pronounce it in the German way as in this video, but all the Copenhageners I know prefer the not-German version.
    Of course, the native pronounciation would be even better.
