I felt the same way upon graduation: Find a job to make money to support yourself-Start my career. And it can be destructive to the self esteem when you get passed by because you get the feeling that no one wants you. But it must not get to you. Your own internal dialog must be that you are a valuable individual and have something to offer to society. So what if you don't get your dream job the first time. Take what is there, learn from it, and move on. Eventually you will find your place and it may take several stages to get there but you must continue in your quest to fulfill your destiny.
