Biking on Dialysis - Manitoba Renal Program

A look at our cycling on dialysis program featuring patients from Health Sciences Centre and Seven Oaks Hospital. The cycling program is nearly ten years old and is one of many ways we encourage dialysis patients to partake in physical activity.

I have been telling people about cycling. I researched this years ago when I was on dialysis in 2006. Now I am on dialysis again and I am amazed how many do NOT know about this. I remember reading an article back then on the benefits .. and something about it helping remove 10% more fluid off you during dialysis session. I cannot find that article so I found your video instead.
