- Join us as we escape to the island for a day of fun in the sun! The great thing about Put-in-Bay is that golf carts are available right at the airport...but we have another way of getting around the island today!

As always great video keep em' coming. We have a similar escape in SoCal with Catalina island. can never get enough Commander.
Great job guys! Don't forget to put in the airspeed and fuel flows for us pilots...New owner 112A, prior 114 owner, they are great planes!
Good evening, The Plane Life. it's exceptionally riveting video. thank. :)
Really enjoying the videos. I look forward to more adventures from The Plane Life crew.
Love 7 D2. Got my pilots license there in 1987. Had a hanger near where yours is. Great memory.
Fantastic, guys!
I’m currently looking at a commander 112TC for personal/business use these videos are so helpful!!!!!! Thanks guys
That's a roomy cockpit!
Nice views of Windsor and Essex too!
Great Video!! Thank you for sharing. Still can't believe it only takes a half hour to get to P.I.B. Please keep the videos coming. -Larry
Thanks Larry!
Just came across this. The Commander (114TC) also has an available STC with a Lycoming IO-580. It's a beast.....
It looks very beautiful. Do you think I could ever get 160+knots out of the 114 at 8,000 feet? Thx guys.
Great video, love the 112 and 114... my favorite aircraft! What is the TTAF and TTSMOH? Looking for a good deal for my wife and myself.
Love your videos. I have a 112 TC-A that I purchased 6 months ago. Where did you get the mount for your iPad mini?
Which Commander is this, 112, 114,?
So...I'm getting into the market and working initial research. I like Commanders, but every time... every...time...they get mentioned everyone bangs the, "No factory support" drum. I'd like to get some feedback on what it's like to really own one these days with the future outlook for parts and services.
The Commander 114 seems very comparable to a Mooney M20K or J. Does anyone have experience flying both?
I do have a decent amount of experience in Mooney’s but all in the Acclaim. The commander is for sure a more comfortable and forgiving plane to fly but the Acclaim in on a different level performance wise. Not too much experience with the older model Mooneys but i would think the would still get 15-20 knots faster cruise that you pay for in comfort.
@@theplanelife409 wow so I should definitely look for a Mooney in the future. I want to fly across the country back and forth for personal travel and 15+ knots at those distances is huge.
@@AshtonCoolman Sorry to dig up an old thread but I fly a m20f quite a bit and the narrow cabin isn't something to be ignored if flying with passengers regularly. If I have someone in the passenger seat up front I regularly have to have them squeeze out of the way so I can access the trim wheel.
@@RyanRoberts15 I have people responding to comments I made 4 years ago on a video. You're not digging up an old post, lol. I appreciate your feedback too. I'm not a small guy so a Mooney might not be the right fit for me when the time comes.
They operate a 112TC. 114B, 114TC / 115B will have better field performance.
