Yes I do recommend the sfb-3000 for starters the size let’s you pretty much fit It anywhere that’s the only reason I have it under my seat hahah and second the power it has is good , I don’t know if you have checked out the bench test on those Amps it makes 3357 at 1ohm i believe but I’ll leave you the link for you can check it out. That’s the main reason I’m getting it and overall do you think it will sound clean and be a good first set up for me any tips are much appreciated.
Honestly yes man for first time users it’ll be more then clean 😎 this system sounds loud both speakers and bass blend in very well as long as you adjust it correctly. You won’t be disappointed
I read the specs on that box and it says the maximum magnet diameter is 7.50, and I see the diameter on the sundown SA 12 is 7.80. Did you have trouble getting them to fit in box? I'm thinking of going with same setup

Just be weary of that surround making contact with that ridge in your floor mat during full excursion. I had a down fire box before and ended up ruining three subs because after a a few months of play time, the surrounds wore a hole through them when it made contact with the carpet in my truck.
@@rstjeff that's what I thought too but you'd be surprised how far out that sub will actually move. I ended up having to lift the box 1" but ultimately ended up building a different box and using different subs instead. Went from 4 alpine type r 10s to 4 Sundown x8v3

Not that it needs more power u need to make sure u set your hpf correctly and gain correctly and toss that box seriously it's nice and all but prefabs are tuned high build a custom box tuned to around 32to 33hz be alot more musical n make sure your settings on your radio r set to flat so you aren't sending a clipped signal to your amp nice job tho keep pushing forward n learn from mistakes we all were there before
How did you bypass auto start issues if any. I have a 2020 RST. I want to put my system in out of my car but I heard auto start was shutting down the amp power

turn down the gain on the amp. sounds like it’s driving to much. when it’s lower makes the speaker have clearer puncher bass. plus one window cracked makes your truck a box. i got a 1700 watt pioneer it don’t need all of it. i even have the bass tuned low on my stereo. it’s on 3.
I ended up going with the same subs same box but for Dodge. You have a little more air space than I do. Running skar 2000rp and just orders my mechman 320 amp alternator.
shouldn't need more power. the sfb amps are touchy as far as the crossover adjustments and box tuning. remove all frequencies on the high and low knobs your box cant play efficiently. It should push the power better.
@@rstjeff yea i was messing with those knobs and resetting the gain like a hundred times on mine. Now I kinda like the way full bridge amps work. I was a little skeptical at first. I still think they don't have much dynamic power.
@@rexnhogz I thought I was the only one to have issues tuning my sfb2k. I heard the clipping light is a little off and that it doesn't play the lows aswell as an taramps fullbrigde amps. I have 2 set ups rn but I feel it's easier to play with the taramps 3k md I have installed now. Got it pushing a single 15 HD at 1 ohm on 70 ah agm but I think I need more power. Am I better off with the taramps or the sfb while running the 15 American bass HD.

I just used the llj customs harness and used some adapter that goes from the stock wire to the speakers.
And the box is clean just wish that it wasn’t split in half I’m pretty you call them and ask them to not do that
