    This is an awesome idea! Perfect for making charity quilts that need to be quick and easy like a dialysis quilt. Or an awesome baby quilt. Thank you so much for this demo.

    I made this and it was so much fun, it turned out beautiful with scrap material, the only thing is it took so long to hand stitch the binding, you will be so rich for your fab idea of sew like you paint, great job,I bought 3 more items at Joann’s

    Unless I am missing something, this video nor the pattern doesn’t give the full dimensions. What’s the dimensions of the strips? Length x width?

      You should find the written instructions wrapped inside of the batting. If you open your package and find that the instructions are not wrapped inside, please email us at sales@junetailor.com.

    I'm making Saavy Stripes right now and wondering about additional quilting. If I do cross hatch machine quilting does the batting require every 2 inches or will every 4 inches work?

      Hi Aly,
      Every 4" will work just fine. Happy Quilting!

      Hi Jean,
      I'm assuming that the blocks you are talking about are our Quilt As You Go quilt blocks that finish at about 12" square. The instructions included with the blocks detail how to join them with strips of fabric. We have a video "Quilt As You Go, Pre-Printed Cotton Batting" that also demonstrates how this is done. Here is the link: ua-cam.com/video/ocWNZg9jNsI/v-deo.html. Beginning at minute 5:47, she starts squaring up the block and then proceeds into adding the strips of fabric to join the blocks together. Hope this helps.

    May I ask, do you need to pull your bobbin thread to the top, to avoid a mess on the back?

      Hi Kath,
      When sewing the "Quilt As You Go" quilts, you should always back tack at the beginning and end to lock your stitches. While we've never had an issue with the bobbin threads and a messy back with this method, you may certainly pull it to the top if you prefer. Thanks so much for your question, hope this helps.

    As a brand new sewist, which quilt would be the easiest for a beginner?

    • @JuneTailorInc
      @JuneTailorInc  4 роки тому

      Hi Pam,
      While all of the quilts are super easy to make, perhaps the easiest would be the Simple Stripes. All the fabrics are cut to the width of the fabric off the bolt and there are no angles to cut or sew. Hope you have fun with your project.

    Does the packaging tell you how much fabric to purchase?

      Hi Sonja,
      Yes, the packaging does tell you how much fabric to purchase and the cutting information and directions can be found folded into the batting.

    Are all the quilts half inch seams ?

    • @JuneTailorInc
      @JuneTailorInc  4 роки тому

      Hi Helen,
      The instructions in the packages specify the seam allowance to be used for each product. At this time, only the Quilt As You Go, Sophisticated Strips quilt pattern is sewn by number using 1/2" seam allowance. Thanks for your question and have a great day.
