Thank you Dr Brett. You are one of the few dentists that believe Listerine can help. I used to floss brush and then finish up with Listerine but read that Listerine can wash off the flouride from toothpaste so now I do the floss then Listerine then brush and let the flouride sit after brushing and not rinse it off so the flouride can work. In the end it probably doesn't make much difference as long as you do it.
It helps to watch the brushing demonstration. Because I often wondered how long I should brush each area. I'm older and have had my share of tooth problems. So preventive care is the key.
I've been told it can. But the benefit of killing bad bacteria like the kind that promotes gum disease and tooth decay, far outweighs the risk of offsetting the level of good bacteria in your mouth. At least that's what my Denist told me.

Is it ok to use mouthwash in a waterpic?

What about the fact that a lot of mouthwashes have sugar in them. Are they more damaging to your teeth?
They contain xylitol and other artificial sweeteners that have no effect on teeth.
