All dentist are about money since insurance don't cover major work,they always tell you that you need a crown or an implant and that's all the ones I've consulted with, yet to find one with other options.

It's interesting how these dentists give advice on cleaning teeth and demonstrate it on a single tooth-usually the easiest one to reach. Why don’t they show how to clean a molar or a wisdom tooth? Or one of the lower teeth, for that matter? Then there are those instructions about how to use a toothbrush, saying you should brush in circular motions from top to bottom. I'd love to see someone actually do it exactly like that in practice. They make it sound so simple, as if cleaning your teeth properly is effortless. If we were to follow their recommendations to the letter, we’d have to spend half an hour every day (twice) just on our teeth!

What is the cost of an implant next tooth from the center of my mouth or a permanent single-tooth bridge that would be attached to 2 teeth, one on each side, it is the side I chew on all the time. I had a flipper, but it kept breaking where the tooth bonded 3 times in 1 year, so I have done without a tooth there for several months now.

I was told I couldn’t get an implant because the space above the tooth was not big enough. So I have to get a bridge done.

My titanium implant broke after about 2 years. The post had to be removed. After that surgery I will never have it done again. The surgery was brutal.

Wife has lung cancer. Chemo doesn't permit treatment of bleeding gums. She has gingivitis now. Considering mouth rinse for gums As a possible way to treat without causing more damage. Should I be concerned about causing more problems doing this .

I had to have a dental implant as there was no other choice but the tooth part shattered after about 5 years and had to get the top part replaced. After about 3 months, while eating a piece of chicken, also split a tiny corner of the new implant but luckily the whole thing did not split and I've still got it. My dentist had told me that once a small part split then the whole thing would be ruined but luckily after about 6 years this has not happened!
