    Any advice on doing corners like from 1 wall to the next wall please ?? Thanks in advance ❤

    Thanks for sharing this, very methodical and clear for us DIY hackers! Did you guys reattach the skirting on top of the panelling .. so when we cut into the skirting on the adjacent walls, you need to cut away the thickness of the MDF + thickness of the skirting. Obviously going to need some filler, but I guess that’s the idea for the corners? Cheers

    If you was to do a full room with each wall different sizes, would you keep the gaps the same on each wall or would you measure out again? And also how would you panel around windows and doors?

    • @homeimprovements
      @homeimprovements  Рік тому

      Personal taste on that for me I judge each wall separately and windows and doors would work that into the design 😊

    Hi guys. Thanks for your lovely videos. Sorry, a very silly question. How can I paint them, what kind of paint do I need to use? Is different paint for all than the wood panels? Many thanks

    Hi guys, awesome look at the end. This may be a stupid question but how did you know that the pin gun would be safe to use or does it not penatrate the wall enough to worry about hitting wires?

    Once you marked 532mm on the wall, do you put the panel on so it's centred or do you put the panel on so the line is at the side?

    Love it so quick and effective way of decorating
    Was the a reason behind covering the previous electric socket?
    Wish I had thought bout pulling the skirting off before doing my panelling 😮

    Hey there guys, great video! Luv the straight forward explaining. Question though: what if the stuff is gonna have to come off at one point? Would the glue take parts of the wall off too?

    • @homeimprovements
      @homeimprovements  11 місяців тому

      It may all depends on the wall tbh and what condition it’s in 😊

      In my case I recently pulled off old trim which had been glued on and the drywall paper covering came off. What a mess. I even pre-cut around all the moulding to help around the edges, but it did not work much. Anywhere it was glued to the drywall, the paper came off :(
      Now I have to find a solution to redo the walls and put up new trim.
      What's the other option though, nail it on? In many places there is no stud to nail to so you'll end up with gaps.

    What are your thoughts about the MDF and plastered walls having a different texture? I’m considering painting (after an MDF primer) the MDF with a watery plaster mix so all surfaces have the same smooth plaster texture.
