    In this 10-minute NO. 077 Row-N-Ride Glute-focused workout, Sunny trainer Sydney guides you through 10 minutes of targeting those glutes. Prepare to feel the burn as you target the glutes through multiple angles and variations of squats on the Row-N-Ride machine. While this workout is designed to give your glutes some extra love, use this workout to strengthen a variety of muscles in your lower body such as your quads, hamstrings, calves, hip flexors, and core.
    When selecting your resistance for this workout, be sure to pick a resistance that’s appropriate for your fitness level. If you’ve never used the Row-N-Ride machine, we recommend starting with one resistance band. If you find you’re ready to increase the difficulty of your workout, feel free to add more resistance bands when you’re ready.

    30 sec - Glute Activations
    1 min - Deep Squat
    30 sec - Mid-Range Squat Pulse

    Nice job, great video! I love this machine. This machine is a outstanding finisher for the burn and a awesome blood pump I get from it after I finish my sets on the barbell back squats. I also use it as a warm up before I hit my barbell back squats too. Its a great workout machine by itself, for people who can't do back squats. Like people who suffer from lower back, knee or hip pain. All around great machine.

    This machine is awesome. I have had open heart surgery and asthma that had kept me in bed most of the time the past two years. I have begun to work with this equipment the last 3 weeks. My muscles had begun to atrophy. It has been quite a challenge to say the least. I try and do a minute or 2 at a time several times daily. I guarantee you will feel the burn. My legs have begun to tone and I especially feel it in my quads and hamstrings. Probably doing it wrong, but those are areas along with core muscles that I wanted to attack. In the short time I've been doing the exercises I can clearly see and feel my strength returning. Wish I had taken before and after pics because it really has improved visibly. This is no easy machine but so worth what ever effort you can put in it. I have benefited and can only hope to do 10 minutes in a single workout. If you can do 10 minutes you will be in shape. Guaranteed.

      I had a stroke and I was feeling the same way. My bad side was starting to atrophy. It's starting to make me stronger. I'm not sure how many I should do but I just do it till I can't do no more.

      @@ramonalautzenheiser9397 Good for you. I have been upping my reps and do it the same way you do. I do as many as I can and then rest. The time it takes me to recover has lessened so I can get back on and do some more sooner than when I started. The machine has allowed me to get exercise even when it's cold as hell outside. It does as much for me mentally as it does physically these days. Knowing you're getting stronger will make you feel better about yourself. I have coupled Amino Acid supplementation with the workouts which has helped me to increase muscle mass. Keep up the good work and best of luck to you. I recommend Body Health Amino Acids if you're interested. Ask your doctor if they are ok for you to take, of course.

    I did this two days ago and I had muscles screaming at me for two days straight that no stationary bike, stair climber, elliptical nor treadmill made possible. Just followed This routine again on my 4th day. I even used the one resistance band this time so I completely stoked.

    Such a phenomenal machine. I just went to the second band level and it's like being on a different machine. Adding another band working different muscles in a different way. Got to be one of the best purchases I've ever made in my life I use it at least once a day if not more. It's painful addicting and amazing. My leg strength is phenomenal now. So versatile.

    😭 I’ve been doing 3 Bands this entire time not knowing I could start with 1! Omg 😂 my legs and everything has been on FIRE. Definitely taking it down to 1. I absolutely love this piece of equipment.

    Love this machine! Best piece of equipment one can buy. It targets several areas at one time! And I can see my derriere lift now after about 6 weeks. I look forward to get on it every day. It's actually fun and so easy to de squats. Very Happy Customer

    I just received this piece of machine and I'm impressed with the quality and ease of putting it together. I bought this because of COVID-19 as I had to cancel my gym membership. I tried for a few minutes and it felt good. It's worth the money and on top of that I'm safe from getting this deadly virus.

    Slipped a disc and pinched a nerve - haven’t been able to walk hardly at all for 8 weeks. Therapist recommended yoga and strengthening my thighs and core so I bought this. I did ten squats the first day, 20 the second and found this video the third. Only made it 4 minutes in - baby steps. Can feel my legs working!!!! Excited to keep pushing on until I nail the entire video.

      We recommend starting with zero bands and working your strength up, 1 band at a time. Don't give up, you got this!

    Just got started on this machine and the AB Crunch machine last week. I can definitely tell that I am getting a good workout. Love these videos! I plan to use them every time I work out. Getting tired of the same old same old at the gym. I may just discontinue my membership. This Row N Ride machine gives me a great workout at home!! Thank you!! 🥰

    Not watching the whole thing (right now), but thank you for actually saying the proper form you should have while on the machine. I just tried it out for the first time today and wasn't sure if I was even doing it correctly.

      Hurts so good right? Be sure to try both of these stretching workouts to loosen tight muscles. The mobility is great for warming up the muscles and getting a good stretch, increasing range of motion. It feels really good on tight muscles. The full-body stretch is more static stretching, a lot of focus on the lower body, and will help get an even deeper stretch on those muscles. Let us know how you feel after!

      @@cathyboyd6865 First, be sure to plant your mid-foot on the pedal, and drive your energy through your heels as you extend from your squat. Second, sit back with your hips, pushing your glutes back as you squat, this will put more emphasis on the glutes and hamstrings.     I really like watching this trainer. I have the machine and was surprised at how much it kicked my - - - . My quads do tend to quickly burn out, it may be a matter of form (or just too much sitting during day) but I will try to focus on feeling it more in glutes. I also got the twist and step (very affordable machines and sturdy weight) and now am focusing on just a few minutes on each throughout day & feeling my progress. I love to walk but these get the heart rate up.

      To make your squats more glute and hamstring focused, sit back with your hips as you squat, and don't forget to squeeze your glutes on the top of each rep. As you continue to use the machine, your quads should build the strength to workout on this machine for longer periods of time without burning out.

      I just found out that I have a bone issue with my knee. So now I can’t run or jog or jump rope or do lunges anymore. I can only do workouts that keep my feet planted in a stationary position. Yay me. Imma have to get one on these machines.

    Ive been following this excersize for about 5 weeks every other day mostly bc i had a bad compound fracture in my Left ankle on xmas 2008. I mdo the elipticle andcstanding abs on my odd days. I noticed my Right knee has been cracking alot more while walking and climbing stairs. My question is does the 2nd part of this excersize with the Plie' squats do more harm to knees bc of your feet pointed out instead of straight? Im going to see an orthopedic surgeon to see how bad my knee is. I just turned 44 yrs old last week so its mostly from my other injury that i have been harder on this knee. Its just starting to hurt this morning and i did take a very long walk yesterday and did yard work so if u have any input about the plie' squats and knees vs just straight fwd squats let me know please. And i of course love this machine. Its lovely in every video ive done but this is a fav for glutes!

      Don't forget to stretch! Try both of these stretching workouts to loosen tight muscles. The mobility is great for warming up the muscles and getting a good stretch, increasing range of motion. It feels really good on tight muscles. The full-body stretch is more static stretching, a lot of focus on the lower body, and will help get an even deeper stretch on those muscles.     Dear Sunny: Thank you for your video effort. I am a fan of using certain machines for the correct purpose. Machines like this are for *cardio* to enhance breathing for running-related sports and fitness. Gym weights are for muscle shape and development. One cannot even *think* of a machine and muscle mass in the same breath.

      I did fitness with heavy weights, deadlifts, pull ups etc. I dont feel much in my upperbody from this machine but for the lowerbody its amazing. It feels very heavy for your muscles even with only 1 resistanceband.

    I bought this machine today and I would like to know how many squat I should do to lose belly fat and help in my bowel movement?? Need suggestions please ??

      Hey Fahad, thanks for purchasing the Row-N-Ride! To answer your question, there isn't any set number of how many squats to do, in order to lose belly fat. There are two key things to remember when trying to lose belly fat. #1 is getting your heart rate up high (26+ heartbeats in 10 seconds) and keeping it up at 26 or higher for an extended amount of time! #2 is making sure that you are staying on top of your diet. That means lots of lean protein & veggies being the only carbohydrates you eat. Stay away from sugar, starch, and any drinks with calories. Stick to drinking water and only water. Also, I would recommend downloading the FREE SunnyFit App. There you will find lots of Row-N-Ride Workouts with longer durations of time. Variety is important to have!       I did receive the row n ride. The instructions were very confusing but I was able to find a video that guided me with the installment of it. The workout in it is outstanding. With working out to this video, muscles are sore I forgot I had. I hope to see results in 30 days or less.

    I walk five days a week for one hour. After walking how many minutes I should do this workout. I would like to add this workout to my walking routine.

      This would be a great workout to add 2-3 times per week before you go on your walks. That would mean you would spend about 15 minutes performing the Row-N-Ride workout followed by a 45 minute walk. Make sure to do the Row-N-Ride workout on non-consecutive days.

    Sydney has the handlebars lower than I thought they should be. I have mine higher , chest height. I’m 5’4”. Does changing the handlebars do something different? Great routine and I’m starting it tomorrow!

      Sydney could have the handlebar a little higher, so if yours looks a bit higher and it's comfortable that's probably a good fit for you. The most important thing with handlebar fit is that you feel comfortable when completing the exercises. You should be able to comfortably reach the handlebars both when you're standing, and deep in your squat. The handlebars shouldn't be so far away that it holds you back from getting full squat depth.

    It’s 13 days I have followed your videos. Did what your asking and so far I don’t see any changes yet. I had only one day of break and add proteins on my diet as well. I do r and ride squat machine only for 10 days. When am I going to see the results?

      Patience and consistency are important. You could easily be losing fat and building muscle and staying roughly the same weight.
      Or you could not be cutting calories enough in your diet which is slowing down your goals. Adding proteins to a caloric daily caloric surplus won't yield desired results. Higher protein within a caloric deficit and exercise will greatly help.

      The No. 077 was designed to give users the ability to burn calories and help develop the muscles of the hips, back, arms, shoulders, and core. When using the resistance bands, you can perform smooth squat and row repetitions to help simulate muscle growth and endurance depending on your current fitness level. If stimulating muscle growth is the goal, users should perform slow and controlled reps with the resistance bands. If 1-3 resistance bands is too difficult, start with no resistance bands. We recommend starting with 2 sets of 15 reps using a slow tempo (5 seconds down: 2 seconds up). If that becomes too easy, then you can add additional sets while reducing the number of reps to 10-12. Working out in this way will cause your heart rate to increase which will increase calories burned during workouts. Follow along with some of our great No .077 workouts on our UA-cam channel, if you need more instruction.

      Hi! Your quads or the front of your legs are used when squatting, experiencing muscle soreness in this area is normal when using the Row-N-Ride™. We recommend giving your muscles some time to rest and recover between sessions (at least 48 hours) and longer if needed. Having a nice upright posture, and pushing back with your hips during your squat like Sunny Trainer Sydney will help activate the posterior chain (glutes and hamstrings) more during your squat if that's your goal.

    Would this machine be hard for someone who has knee arthritis? I have to try and strengthen my legs. Is it hard on knees?

      Mini steppers can be great who have bad knees because they're low impact, and don't require as much flexion of the leg as cycling that some with knee troubles may find difficult. It will also strengthen the muscles surrounding your knees which can help provide support to your knee overtime. However, we recommend you speak with your doctor or main healthcare provider to determine if this machine is the best fit for you.

      Along with proper posture, it is important to ensure that the foot pedals are not positioned too far forward beneath your shoes. We recommend moving the pedals to a position around the mid foot for optimal stability and muscle recruitment during each rep. The knees should stay inline with the toes and hips during each rep to help reduce knee discomfort associated with improper knee alignment. Be careful not to let the knees fall inward or get pushed out. Hope this helps!

      Tuck your pelvis a bit when you’re coming up out of the squat. Try not to poke your butt out like with traditional squats but keep your back straight and torso/abs engaged. This should help❤️

      It is possible that the discomfort you are experiencing could be from improper posture. When using the row-n-rider, your back should not round forward during each squat. This means that your back should be straight from hips to head and your shoulders should not be rounded forward. If you cannot maintain this position during each squat, you must decrease the depth and/or resistance bands while squatting until you can maintain good form with each rep.
