Low chance you'll see this but I want to thank you for giving my character the option to not drink alcohol. I've played many visual novels and dating sims like that and none of them ever gave me that option which was not fun to me. I was incredibly touched to be able to ask for just water and none of the characters shaming me for it or pushing me to have a glass. Thank you.
I just gotta say..When Vika mentioned that their top three inspirations for the style and or aesthetic of the game were from Hades, Bloodbore, and Castlvania….I immediately stopped everything I was doing and downloaded the Touchstarved Demo. Seeing as this game was inspired off of three of my ALL TIME FAVORITE games…I just had to give it a try, and I’m so thankful that I did. To say that you all have done such a fantastic job creating this game just isn’t enough. Especially seeing as this is only a passion project of your?! Like COME ON! You’re all freaking INCREDIBLE?! You have my endless gratitude for giving me a MC that is strong willed and has a bad ass curse! As well as for feeding my mind with such an interesting world! I’ve been able to kick the ass of my own horrific art block because I was able to find inspiration in what you’ve all accomplished. So yeah, wonderful job guys!
became instantly interested after seeing that writers from the arcana were apart of the studio, then played the demo for myself and fell in _love._ there's so much passion shown in the game already, i'm only sad i missed the kickstarter campaign dude :[

Its not even my game but I also cried when I saw how successful the kickstarter became. Your demo game was amaizing and all my friends are waiting to play a beta version and gives feedback!
lol there were around a thousand people on stream and chatting so when I heard the devs talking about voice acting I joked that every character was voiced by Chris Pratt. With so many people in chat my joke was supposed to be a fart in the wind but Lulu dev read it out loud I'm mortified but I'm also laughing so much! Around 44:15
I'm personally not a visual novel or even dating sim kinda person but when I heard about this game and learned about the characters and art, I got so excited and immediately tried the demo and I was in love! I genuinely hyper-fixated on the game for weeks and had a mini freak out trying to figure out what merch I wanted with my budget T-T. But all the love and passion is so evident in this project! I can't clearly express just how much I love this game so far, so knowing that this was an indulgent work of love by the creators makes it so much more special!
I’m late to the party, but I played the demo yesterday and I was just left wanting sooooo much more!!! Now I’m a backer and here cheering 🥳 and cannot wait for the release!!! ❤️

This is such a cool video. I find the links to interwoven relationships stemming off games such as Hades is such a great idea for the visual novel. I love how every LI is so connected to one another even BEFORE the mc joins them, feels like joining something which is lovely.
Also very enlightening point about the artists, I never knew so many work together, and the art is TOP TIER! Also love how Arabic style influences are in the fantasy world, great departure from the typical Europe style.
Btw, the soundtrack 10/10 absolutely god tier
They had me at pistachio rosewater-flavored desserts. I also appreciate that it had Arabic-inspired aesthetics without feeling Orientalist, if that makes any sense. It felt normalized, not "ooh look how weird and exotic this all is."
I adore the art style of the game so much!! It’s so detailed and unique and I dearly love it, I hope I could study it a bit more to make a good imitation of the said art style
I am so terribly late but I first got to witness the video with the characters in the animated trailer. I initially thought it looked like Castlevania and Arcane and thought it was a new anime/series. That’s when I saw other people playing the demo and doing voice overs for the characters. I just had to play the demo myself. But I didn’t stop there I needed more! X (Twitter), Wiki, Tumblr.. I cannot wait till the full game is released! ❤

I myself am a queer poc so it's so damn cool and inspiring to see creators like you guys like this!! As you said about having something differebt than a eurocentric fantasy world - it's been amazing to see sometjing different and for so many of us feel represented.

i only started playing the demo few days ago and this has blown my mind! im so excited for the game to come out!! i keep making new games to learn more about the characters. they all peeked my interest and its hard to choose which one of them ill go further with. their design is just- i cant describe how much time i stared at them looking at every single detail. i love horror/psychological stuff so this has become my new favourite game now!!!

Im so happy this channel got recommended. This is perfect for me. Not into men but genre is scarce. Horror and romance were made for each other and a vn like this is so wonderful.
Always going to go out on a limb and ask for more pronoun options. I use it/its exclusively, others make me uncomfortable, and having to wait for somebody to make a pronoun mod if they ever did to feel really comfortable playing always sucks.

OH MY (i just downloaded the demo ueueue I LOVE THE DESIGNS SO MUCH)
i forgot to put this in the survey, but one of things i ADORE about this game so far is that it doesn't feel like the mc is supposed to be someone who uses she/her pronouns. thats an issue that i encountered in other stories (cough cough almost every story in fictif except for last legacy), the issue being so bad to the point where players would get misgendered sometimes because the creators let a glitch slip and were using she/her as the default (instead of they/them, which would soften the impact of the mistake), resulting in male and NB mcs getting misgendered by their love interest and other characters 💀. Touchstarved, so far, feels very safe for all different players. the writing's language is inclusive and doesn't make me feel pushed out for being a trans man who just wants some romance 😭😭
I would honestly play this game for hundreds of hours worth of content if I could >< it is soooo good! I love the writing, the plot, the art, the men 👀 and I could immediately tell that you've all put a lot of effort and love into this game and I'm all for it! Can't wait for more updates and of course the official release~ 🥰

The irony is that I've written almost all of these characters already over the last like...3-4 years, and here I am seeing what is basically AU versions of my own OCs being made into the perfect game! I don't even really like visual novels OR dating games, but the aesthetic alone is enough to draw me in...not to mention getting to see characters I know I'll love, because I've already written them! xD But I long for angst, and dark themes in my RP and in the media I like, and this nails all of that perfectly! (Plus like you said, I end up writing a lot of characters who either actually have an inner monster, or feel like they do, and I've realized that it might be me channeling how I feel about my ADHD, and how I feel like it makes ME monstrous at times.) Thanks for breaking out of the soft, fluffy type of media that this genre likes to stick to! Thanks for making darker characters who are still *people* - even the 'demons'. Thank you for exploring morality and genuine, deep human questions...and all in a delightful art style with characters who are stunning for a variety of reasons.
(Castlevania is an A+++ inspiration, btw! And now you've got me wanting to play Hades, despite it not being a game style I like, lol.)
And hey, the people want more non-Euro-centric settings, as well! Just look at FFXIV - everyone was ecstatic to go to Radz-at-Han! I've been dying for more architecture from the Mediterranean, or Middle East.
Thank you for taking the time to make such an amazing game! I can't wait to see what all the Kickstarter backing accomplishes for you - and us!

the fact he is so kinda and all and when you check his profile, his fatal flaw is scratched up so you can't see it, and the game says ''they are monsters in their own way'' and leander aint an exeption-
I'm kinda a bit 😒 at him for being quite promiscuous, judging by everyone's reaction. But I don't know if it is his biggest flaw. (Also, I saw someone suggested that he was dead. 😅 Like a zombie dead)

The art of this game is so inspirational its interesting to see how multiple people worked on it! Unironically motivated me to draw digitally again like damn I cannot stop looking :")) also the potential this game has... I can tell this is gonna be amazing (never been wrong on my impressions yet 😎😂) and the grip that it has on me rn, as a game that isn't even fully released yet is insane lol.
