Lil' Guardsman - Ways to Die and Endings

- A compilation of the various ways you can get a game over in Lil' Guardsman by making poor choices along with both endings. When the fate of the world relies on a twelve year old, this usually won't end well. But at least you have some control over time to try again.
I generally tried to remove duplicate ways for the same death unless it provided notably different dialogue. For instance, jailing the Witch has the same outcome as whipping her. Denying Scary Tree Monster (if you don't call Ashe) has the same outcome as jailing him. Gary has two variants depending on whether you took the crystal from Julian in level 8 - if you didn't then whipping, jailing, or teasing on the third dialogue will lead to the same outcome. If you took the crystal you only die if you give it back and then try jailing them.
Overall, this is a delightful game that I'd definitely recommend. I'm pretty sure these are all the deaths/game overs but I haven't tried every combination so something might be missing. Drafting people only impact whether you get the good or not-so-good ending - if you win at least 2 battles you get the good ending. Lose at least 2 battles and you get the not-so-good ending.

The game really likes to smart off at you when you do something obviously dumb, like agree to get a closer look at a vampire's fangs.
Edit: Also can anyone translate that freaking latin that shows up when you're taken out by the devil??

Great game, albeit the ending felt a bit of a letdown and "rushed".
It’s obviously left empty/holey for a sequel which made me feel incomplete finishing it
Dr Bea, from beyond the grave and in Lil’s dreams: Lil….you have to stop them. You have to stop the pressure they place on video game companies to constantly make sequels for every game. You have to stop them Lil. It only contributes to burnout and more low quality cash grabs of sequels.
