I’ve been using these tips a lot lol. It just makes everything look more scrumptious. And round of applause for Jaune getting over her fear of green!!!
Paints like gouache, acrylic, anything opaque. Opaque color pencils. HEAVILY plan out lights and darks so you can save the eye burning colors for last with the white of the paper. But card stock and cut out pieces of paper to glue on top! Also neon washi tape too! Some ways I’ve done it! Mostly to cover up mistakes
Watching english tutorials is hard but easy at the same time, bc i barely can understand just bc i'm not a native speaker but things are better explained, I don't know how i can understand the tutorials
I do like making colorful artwork, never tried this style before, I guess this is a sign for me to try it out. Funniest tutorials I've seen, loved it, chaotic and informational. Quoting Bill Cypher at the end never made more sense lol
I can't keep quiet. Dear Badjaune, I adore you. In my humble opinion, you are the best content maker for genshin, in particular for the harbingers of fatua. Your creativity is incomparable, starting with an abstract and unusual style of drawing, ending with an amazing compositional solution. The way you choose the music for your videos is great. You have the best taste in music. I often cry from your works and admire the work done. I wish you sincere well-being in life, great creator
im literally so in love with ur art omg ill sub and hope to catch one or two of ur streams! i literally dont understand hyperpop at all but always loved how it looks so so much grr
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!! Weeks ago me n my sister were talking about Mind electric and thank god she showed me your animation meme n i completely fell in love with both your artstyle, animation and colours! Its thr best thing i've ever seen IM DEADASS, keep going i love your art sm!
Ive been loving your art so much ,, Ive always had a lot of trouble with coloring so i decided to just not do it. This hyper pop style is everything ive ever wanted , thanks for making this so easy to understand!!
I've been using your old tutorial and it's helped give life and colours to my artworks.. so seeing this one got me giddying ! the instructions and wordings are simple enough for me to understand so thank you!! can't wait to try this out !!
Once you're finished with your pantalone animatic, I would LOVE if you could possibly make a tutorial on how you create such pretty animatics with your hyperpop art style, a basic guide to it and your workflow behind it, etc. I've recently subscribed and I LOVE your art and how it's evolved since your first vid, it's so nice😍😍😍
I WAKE UP. I SEE YOUR POST. I CLICK. BECAUSE ITS BADJAUNE AND ITS ARLECCHINO. thank you thank you for posting another how to, i absolutely love watching them
I think this video must have hit the algorithm because both me and my friend came across this at the same time 😂❤thank you so much though! not only do I now have a NAME for the colouring style I've been obsessed with for ages, I actually have a basis to try and practice it myself! I'm primarily a traditional artist so it's gonna be fun to see how much trying to apply this to those mediums is gonna make me slam my head against the desk 💪
After watching your first video, I've been experimenting with this style for weeks. As someone who's more used to soft/smooth shading, I'm still pretty bad at it and struggling a lot, especially with contrast but hopefully I can get better at it..! Appreciate the part 2!!
i just watched both tutorials in a row, thank you so much, i didn't know this style existed, and it turns out, this vague idea of a style i had in my head i was struggling to explain was exactly this, and now i know how to actually make it look good. You gained a subscriber
Omg I’ve been trying to learn how to color like this for months… and your way of explaining it was perfect… also my first time seeing one of your videos, definitely will watch more
Same, except I have like two-five central ones that honestly still have the look of my art, and then I have a problem where I like to play around with a bunch of different ones, including scooby doo art style💀
Your tutorial randomly poped out on my main page and oh gosh this is just what I needed! Ive been thinking about changing my artstyle a little because I got a little stuck and bored with it. I absolutely loved both of those tutorials and they are very helpful! Thanks and im looking forward for more videos from you
Thank you for sharing your knowledge!! To add further (to either you or other viewers), theres a video called "why your colors suck (and its not your fault)" which explains in detail how the consumer hardware for monitors and production is heavily limited which affects artists and consumers alike, and how you can avoid it! They mention different types of color pickers like OKLAB which helps with color palettes. Also, its only like 30 minutes so you dont have to spend hours upon hours to learn color theory from scratch, I mean it definitely helps but its good for an introduction/casual way to learn it. I really love your humor in editing btw you made it enjoyable to listen through a tutorial haha
I’m so glad u also made this one, ur helping me get over my fear of the color green. also TALLYY HALLLLL. 10/10, would watch again and force my friends to watch it too (I don’t have any)
yo this is so sick tysm, the memes were funky fresh and your art is beautiful. i will be trying this out the next time i draw, but if i start crying its your fault
AAAH THIS IS SO GOOD???? I ABSOLUTELY LOVE TJIS VIDEO,, AND YR WAY OF SAY8JG THE STUFF RLLY PUT IT IN A WAY THAT I COULD UNDERSTAND WELL,, WORTH THE WAIT :D (so srry for the paragraph 😭 (keep up the good work, you've improved so much!! :D))

this is like such a coincidence i just got to sitting through the first one because i was like procrastinating on it for months and then the next day this is here?????? hello????? thank you?????
oOoOOh!✨ I literally just scrolled by the thumbnail artwork on insta and was stunned by the colors!! I am so happy you made a video explaining the process I was about to add that piece to the list of artworks i use to study color theory 💟💟💟
I am soooo glad i found your channel! I followed your instagram and I always wondered about your process. This type of style is soooo eye catching and I always wanted to learn, so, thank you for the process video!
Sorry I had to cut the ending bc of copyright!! I'll definitely be more mindful of that in the future >:)
I don't know what the actual ending was but the abrupt cut the moment Jump King shows up got me
THE WAY U PHRASE EVERYTHING IS SO FUNNY BUT IT MAKES EVERYTHING EASIER TO UNDETSTAND TOO 😭😭

*cries in traditional artist*
We can still do it bro we just need alcohol markers 🙏‼️‼️
I appreciate you explaining your stylistic choices in a straightforward matter. It really helps de-mystify more exaggerated artstyles
my bro dropped part two a year later, respect.
I love that is all silly and funny so that everyone can follow, but then you listen/watch and the color theory is super solid
THE SEQUEL WE ALL NEEDED 🔥🔥
(cries in traditional artist because I have no idea how I could recreate this with markers and pencil crayons or if that’s even possible)
Highlighters is what I do

you can't just draw Astarion in front of me and expect me to be able to pay attention to anything else
It's not Astarion, it's Arlecchino from Genshin Impact 😭
@nonexistentaspen they're talking about the one on this 6:18
@@nonexistentaspen no way you mixed Astarion with Arlecchino, the greyscale tutorial is clearly Astarion 😭
