      My buddy has found 20 tings with the FindX in the last 45 days. We do not rally hunt and we live in the US which has larger higher conductive coins. We have only had the FindX for less than 2 months. It performs well on the saltwater, playgrounds, farmfields and mineralized ground, it is a very quiet detector in high EMI spots. We have not tried it in very wet ground.

    Thanks for showing , another great value from Nokta !! Does it have manual ground balance ?? what coils fit SX ??

    • @PaystreakSuperfreak
      @PaystreakSuperfreak  4 місяці тому +4

      Nokta website states the FindX Pro has automatic/manual ground balance. I could not find a way to manually GB the FindX Pro. The website also states it has frequency shift, I also was not able to find a frequency shift feature on the FindX Pro. The FindX pro does not have a menu system to access a frequency shift. The FindX Pro does not have a GB menu or ground grab button.

    Hi Jeremy, I have a D2 and find your video very informative and helpful, thank you. From your experience if I was to buy a second detector so that family and friends could come out from time to time to experience the hobby what detector would you suggest from your experience?

    • @PaystreakSuperfreak
      @PaystreakSuperfreak  4 місяці тому +1

      It would be good if you had a detector that you know very well and can tune for them. Simplex, Vanquish, FindX Pro, Xterra Pro are good durable detectors that could be a backup for you too.

    So what do you think about it and you like it? I see a lot of people say online it's just a toy and a kids detector but judging from what you're finding it's far from that look like it's up there with the Simplex just a little bit more simplified it's kind of like old days I guess you just turn the detector on and off you go I guess you don't have to worry about doing all kind of settings to try and squeeze half an inch more out of it.
    I got mine today but I just did an unboxing I cannot go detecting for quite a while got a nasty infection in one of my fingers that I Got from out detecting guess I touched some wrong soil I did notice when I unboxed the machine the shaft is a little bit wobbly with the big coil

    • @PaystreakSuperfreak
      @PaystreakSuperfreak  4 місяці тому +1

      I have not used the FindX with the SX28 yet. It was very wobbly with the plastic shaft with the SX24 coil when swinging. I put the carbon fiber lower shaft on it this morning and hunted with it all day. The middle shaft will not come in and out very easy so we will be replacing the handle with Jims old Legend handle.

      This is jim I had a junk legend that didn't work so I took the lower shaft off and put it on the findx it works great

      I'm not using mine it's going in a giveaway but I'm ordering another one for my daughter she has been using my ultra but she don't like settings lol so be the perfect machine for her and I actually have an old Legend shafts I will try when it comes in

    Hey Paystreak, just curious as to why you would buy this detector. Filling a gap? Just curious? You seem to have such an arsenal. Also, do you ever hunt with Minelabs?

      Jim bought this detector. The small coil*SX24) is from Kurt's Simplex Ultra. I used the FindX Pro all day today...I like it!! I have an Xterra Pro but only have the V12X which is just too heavy and bulky for parks. I also do not like the handle on the Xterra Pro. I also have an Equinox 800 with 2 broken coils.

    Any difference between that and the Simplex Lite?

    • @PaystreakSuperfreak
      @PaystreakSuperfreak  4 місяці тому +1

      I think they are almost the same detector. The Findx is almost the same as the Simplex Plus too.

    • @mikekeller4131
      @mikekeller4131 4 місяці тому

      They are basically the same thing, the coils are also interchangeable. The new version of the Simplex are way better than the Simplex+. I compared them side by side.

      I picked up the Simplex Lite on Amazon Day for $159. I did not like the wobble so I got the carbon fiber lower that fits Legend and new Simplex line. Great machine. Stable and Fast

    What do you think of that detector? Does it perform well?

    • @PaystreakSuperfreak
      @PaystreakSuperfreak  4 місяці тому +3

      It does perform surprisingly well. The lowers shaft is like a wet noodle...way too flimsy!! Carbon fiber shaft from Legend is a quick easy fix.

      @benrjohansen 4 місяці тому

      @@PaystreakSuperfreak yes I have one for my simplex ultra. I’m sure it would work for the Findx Pro. I really like that coil it fits in between the trash.

      The small coil on the Findx also works on the ultra, BT, and lite. I bought the lite just for the small coil to use on the ultra, but the lite is a hot machine.

    • @digginggopher
      @digginggopher 4 місяці тому

      Having never used either machine I can undoubtedly say the ultra is better, maybe if you want a lender, but you're not missing out I don't think, I watch a few UA-camrs who use the ultra, never seen much on the findx yet

    • @PaystreakSuperfreak
      @PaystreakSuperfreak  4 місяці тому +4

      I like the FindX more than the Ultra. The Ultra on startup is a pain in the ass every time having to go into the menu just to turn the iron tones on. The FindX Pro has an iron button for quick tune discrimination patterns like the Legend.
