    A couple things…
    First, if you’re not a part of our TrailManor Fans group on Facebook, please come join us!
    Second, I’m waiting for a tour of the camper 100% hosted by the kid!
    The rod is an anode rod…
    Nice camper, happy trails!

      Thanks for the recommendations! I'm no longer on Facebook, but Lindsey is joining to keep me updated.
      We're taking the camper out later this month, and Flynn has agreed to host a tour. Should be an interesting video!

    The first thing that caught my eye was, why is there not a way to use a drill to raise and lower the camper? That would take a lot of stress out of cranking and cranking and cranking and cranking and cranking to get it where you want it? That is the new technology and it doesn't cost a cent more.

    A great walkthrough and very helpful! My favorite line was "you're not going in the cabinet". The info about the dining table extension was especially helpful! On the initial setup, aren't there arms that swing out to support each bunk end?

      There are arms that swing out to support each bed, but they pull out automatically when you pull the bed out. I'll try to get a better video of this the next time we take the camper out.

    Looks great!! How is the insulation? Is the heater/AC able to keep the interior comfortable?

    • @themoyersdostuff
      @themoyersdostuff  2 роки тому +5

      Thanks! I've had it out in near freezing weather, and the heater running on low (both electric and propane) has kept it very comfortable. I was just out for the Fourth of July weekend, and daytime temps were around 90F, and the AC running on low kept it comfortable as well. It seems like despite being somewhat thin, the insulation does a great job of maintaining the temperature.

    Very helpful video, thank you. Do you find the queen bed comfortable for 2 adults? Is it reasonably easy in-and-out given that the wall of the bathroom and wardrobe cabinet lessen the access area? I like the 2922 for the king bed, but it would be just a tad too long for our garage. Any feedback on your sleeping and use experiences would be appreciated.

    • @themoyersdostuff
      @themoyersdostuff  2 роки тому +2

      Thanks for the comment and kind words!
      I find the queen bed extremely comfortable. I'm 6'2", and I find that I have enough leg room when sleeping. My wife and I have plenty of room in this bed. I would say that the wall of the bathroom and the wardrobe aren't as much as an inconvenience as the height of the bed, but a small stool makes it much easier to get in and out (I don't have much of a problem, but my wife is 5' tall, so it helps her, haha). The included mattress is also pretty comfortable, but I expect that to change over time with repeated use. Definitely a step up from our old Coleman pop-up, for sure.
      If you have any other questions, feel free to send me a message and I'd be happy to answer for you!

    Fantastic walk-through... what is the down-side to having a pop-up camper like this?? Does this camper have leaking issues?

    • @themoyersdostuff
      @themoyersdostuff  2 роки тому

      Thanks for the compliment!
      We've had it out in the rain and a snow storm and have had zero leaks. There's a channel between the two top sections that moves water away from the seal and off the top of the camper. I would say the biggest downfall is not being able to access the inside of the camper when it's being towed or stored, but it hasn't been that much of a bother for us.

    I was wondering if you go to the dump station do you have to pull out the pop outs so you can drain out the toilet?

    • @themoyersdostuff
      @themoyersdostuff  2 роки тому

      You can actually open the valve below the toilet before you close the camper. At the dump station, there is another valve outside to open that will drain the waste out. You still need to clean the toilet at some point.
      I haven't had much experience with the toilet yet, but I know a lot of owners are less than pleased with the setup.

    Have you traveled towing this in rain yet and got to your destination and noticed water in it? Also is the AC adequate for temps in the 90’s ? Thanks for the info

    • @themoyersdostuff
      @themoyersdostuff  2 роки тому +1

      We have pulled it in some heavy rain now, and the inside has been completely dry. As far as the AC, we haven't had to run it yet, but I imagine it would make it comfortable in 90 degree temps.

      Anytime! The only real issue we've experienced so far was a faulty tail light. I contacted TrailManor and they sent me a new one at no charge.
      If you have any questions or there's anything else you'd like to see, just let me know. I don't have a hookup at home, but we'll have it out again fourth of July weekend and will have a full hookup then.

      Ok so the only Trailmanor I can find around me within 12 hr drive is a 2518kb. It has a cassette toilet that is a must for our situation. Did you by any chance check this model out? I know it is smaller then your but just wondering if you had any insight on that. Not sure if I want to deal with the recirculating toilet. Your thought. Thanks again

      @@Humble-Engine if you're in Maryland, you may be close to where we purchased ours.
      www.wisetrailer.com/
      We did look at a 2518 while we were there, and it wasn't much different than the 2720, but with our two boys it would have been a bit more cramped. It does have a king bed though, which would be pretty nice!
      Our last pop-up had a cassette toilet. I'm not crazy about the recirculating toilet, but I find it easier than the cassette toilet. We try to use the camp toilet for solids and avoid doing that business in the camper. So far we haven't had any problems with the recirculating toilet.

    • @themoyersdostuff

      Thank you! The AWD Ridgeline models have a transmission cooler stock. I haven't noticed any transmission issues while pulling the trailer. I did install a brake controller due to the weight of the camper. I went with the Tekonsha P3, and it has worked very well so far. Indeed I did! After taking it out the first weekend, I contacted TrailManor about it. They sent me a new light for free, and I was able to install it myself with relative ease. It looked like there was a defect in the plastic on top of the light, and some rain water had gotten in, shortening out the LEDs.

    • @themoyersdostuff
      @themoyersdostuff  2 роки тому +2

      Towing is easier than I anticipated. I have a set of universal towing mirrors for the truck that help see around the trailer a great deal. It takes a little longer to accelerate, as expected, but rides very smoothly. The back end sags a bit when the trailer is hooked up, but I wouldn't think it's enough to warrant a weight distribution hitch.
