    I had one years ago the 3326 which has a dual axle. I liked it, but you have to put everything away before you can close it and you cannot practically use the toilet without opening the whole rig.
    The refer has problems keeping cold on the road without mods to remove the heat. Once it is set up it is fine.
    The recirculating toilet was always a problem with smells. However, I think annual maintenance with heavy duty cleaning of the innards might reduce that issue without some of the mods TM owners do.
    Personally, I think the 3326 was the best of the lot with the added safety of dual axles. We got rid of ours when some destroyed the corner of our trailer and then disabled our truck taking off the the right front wheel when she hit us years ago.
    You really don't need the electric lift if you have an electric tongue jack. You just let the tongue jack tip the trailer fore/aft and let gravity help you with the springs.
    The king bed models are much better and offer marginally better storage, but storage will always be a problem and the innards are cozy.
    One of the things to remove is the bench seat near the door and replace it with a director's chair. It will give you lots more room around the kitchen. One of the best features of the TM is visibility. It has so many windows you have a decent view in all directions.

    These things are great! We have a 2001 and everything still works. They're pretty robust actually. Not as convenient as a conventional trailer obviously, but way better than a tent trailer. Hope you are still enjoying it!

    Wow, a 2013! In very good condition. We had two, a 2720 and a 3326. Then we bought a conventional travel trailer. I wish we still had the Trailmanor. We really enjoyed them. Have fun!

    Well watching this today brought back memories when we had ours. Hope you are enjoying yours as much as we did ours. Same setup as ours except we didn't have the overhead cabinets. Husband took care of the outside and I took care of the inside. Lifting the closet and sliding it over. I loved setting up the bathroom. It was so easy to do. We took a trip out to California when we were younger with ours. Only thing I will tell you is to make sure the trailer is on level ground or you will have trouble with the door getting stuck. It happened with us. Other than that like I said I hope you are enjoying yours.

    So the slide out where the queen bed was. I thought I saw some daylight. Is there a way to make it more air tight? I might use it in colder weather, but nothing crazy that a good heater wont fix. Love the video and very informative. Never seen a camper like this until I have been looking and found one.

    First of all new subbie here. We raised our children camping in a pop up. Yes, many rainy days stuck inside a very small space, but we made it work. We has so many fond memories and I can't wait to follow yours. Now that we're empty nesters and about to retire, we're looking at travel trailers again. Unfortunately, we can't store it outside because our side yards are too narrow. I noticed that you kept yours inside the garage, as we kept our pop up. I assumed that a trail manor would be too high to be kept inside. But yours even has an a/c on top! How tall is the trailer with the a/c on top? Maybe this could be our solution. Thanks!

    How do you handle the cabinets that need to be installed? Seems like you either fill them with stuff and deal with the weight when putting them in place or you fill and un-fill them every time you setup and break down; both seem difficult. Just curious.

    hey i really liked your tour, now question Im looking into options because in my community the hoa dont permit RVs, so im thinking something i can put in the garage, does this fit in a standard garage, 7ft wide, 7ft height, around 20 ft long..

    • @CityGlampers
      @CityGlampers  3 роки тому +3

      Hey Alfonso! Thanks for stopping by and watching! We know all about dealing with HOA's! The Trailmanor dimensions are 20'9" long, just under 7' high (with the AC clearing the door), and about 7'6" wide. We slide it right into our garage because it is a two car garage. If length is an issue, a nice feature about it is that the hitch can be modified! Just a couple of pins and it will shorten it to 17'! Hope this helps!

      That depends on how cold and how it's used. It does have a heater, and that will keep it warm, but setting it up and taking it down in cold weather might not be pleasant. A traditional pop-up wouldn't be good for cold weather.

      It's a pretty simple system, not a lot to beak down. We took ours down from Vancouver to Anaheim. Setup and take down is much easier than a tent trailer. Once everything is stowed below counter height and electrical/ water/sewer is put away, closing the trailer only takes about 5 minutes.
