15 years and only spent $150 bucks.....It would've been nice to see this restored by Danny.

I love this guy's attitude -friendly to all.
As for this guy not wanting to sell the car, that is because it is the one thing that keeps his dream alive and keeps him happy to putter around on it.
That is the mind set of us car guys. Not all of us are rich and have the resources to put a large sum of cash into a project of a full restoration.
So we will nickel and dime it through time.
Actually, it's called "self delusion", should you care to research it.
So why choose an expensive hobby if you dont have the money to fund it? I mean, there are all sorts of hobbies that dont require a lot of cash; sports, etc. Why choose to be a car guy if you dont have the money to be a car guy?
My brother is the same. He is almost 60, has 6 cars, every one is a basket-case. He is planning on fixing up every single one of those wrecks. He's going to have to live another 200years to finish restoring all those cars.
This Camaro guy breaks my heart. He probably wants to fix up his Camaro so he can get his high school girlfriend back.

So glad he told the history of the car. I was on pins and needles. There was a guy back in high school that had this car's identical twin sister. I saw the thumbnail and started freaking out. Saying "I know that car!" Oh well, just shows how many similar cars there are out there.
Fast forward to now and the car is still sitting there & looks exactly the same .

It's these type of guys are the reason classics are getting hard to find in decent condition. They tear them apart, let them sit for Years and reject any offer they get Rather than let it go and get restored by someone that loves it they just let it rot away.

Saw a three door panel look like about a 68 on one of the old shows. I had one back in early eighty's in Vegas. Have a neat story about it. Now you might like my tailgate on my truck. It honors all the Female Veterans

The owner should sell it to Danny for a fair price, and enjoy seeing it done in the short term, as opposed to sitting exposed to the elements long term. To say you won't sell a car and then have the original bucket seats laying on the ground where anyone can walk off with them doesn't make any sense.
Nothing will be done to that for another 15!
just like a guy by me. Has a 67-69 camaro in rough shape thats been sitting in his front yard in the same spot for atleast 10 years...and thats as long as I can remember. Dude doesn't want to sell it either. He also has a 40s Ford Coupe with no front end just sitting in his driveway. I don't understand it

Sadly, that car ill be sitting there until that guy kicks the bucket and his kids will probably sell it for a few thousand on Craigslist or an estate sale. But on a bright note, at least the buyer will hopefully properly restore this car.

You ever notice that Danny always finds a car that either the person does not want to sell or they want to much (as Danny says) for the car.
It is a ok show to watch but, Danny often comes off phony and just to full of himself.
Furthermore, why does he often use cheap material for the interior of his cars?

To me the best episode was when Danny and Kevin caught Scott in a lie and found out he was stealing from them when Scott tried to sell a Bike that Danny wanted to keep.
That is why Scott was removed from the show.
