How cool! This helmet is suitable because adventure helmets are often also made as touring helmets in combination with off-road helmets
I have this helmet and wind noise around the ears is very loud ( with ear plugs), admittedly I was riding my Rocket 3 GT fitted with a GP mototek touring screen, not nearly as tall as the test riders screen. I also find the double D rings very difficult and time consuming to secure and undo.
just needs a little more practice with the rings

What about comfort with intercomm ? What about the type of visor mechanism (how many notches? locking system? Locking system in slightly open position? Retaining position with friction or with springs/gears?)

i have the normal one, i dont know here they find this a quiet helmet... i have a touring bike and the peak vibrates a lot so no good for long trips and the overall quality is medium... i just bought hjc rpha 71 and no doubt its superior and a lot quieter
Since this is an adventure helmet, it is both a touring and off-road helmet, so if you plan to go on the road alone, this helmet would work fine

The Krios Pro did slightly better on the parts weight, ventilation and comfort. The Explorer did better on the parts material and noise and features. So it's up to you to decide which specifications are important to you and choose a helmet that best suits your preferences.

How do you get to that?
i wear contact lenses and cant have any air hitting my eyes, with all the vents closed did you notice any air coming in and hitting the eye area?
I did, it was pretty extreme and not coming tru vents or visor. IT WAS COMING THROUGH THE BUTTON FOR THE VENTS in center of face. My eyes had tears on Z1000.
How far down does the sun visor go?
The sun visor lowers almost all the way down!
What is the difference between a helmet made of fibreglass and carbon?
Carbon is a stronger material than fiberglass. This means less material is needed to achieve a certain level of protection which also results in a lighter helmet but strong and protective helmet
Doesn't visor fog up when riding?
When you install the Pinlock Lens on the visor, your visor won't fog up while riding!
Im looking for a helmet for a e-scooter. The problem is ventilation because of speed which for me is mostly 30kmh, but slower in terrain and sometimes a bit faster 😅 seriously, im not that stupid. I think 🤔 the thing is mtb helmets arent strong as moto ones so im thinking about buying LS2 explorer or subverter. Im not sure about that choice so any advices? In summer got like 30°C - middle europe.
Great question, I'll try to help. First off, I honestly wouldn't recommend the LS2 Subverter in this scenario. Beautiful helmet, but it's specifically designed for off-road dirt biking and doesn't come with a visor nor a sun-visor. On the other hand, the LS2 Explorer might be a bit overkill if you don't have an Adventure / Touring riding style. I'd recommend looking at the LS2 Pioneer 2, it's very similar to the Explorer, but has a much lower retail price, while having many of the same benefits. Hope this helps 💪

Great review l! How do I know which size I need?
First, measure your head. To do this, take a tape measure and measure the circumference of your head. If you don't have one, you can use a cord and then measure the cord. You measure from the point with the largest circumference, which is about 2 centimetres above the eyebrows to the back of your head. Is LS2 a good brand?
Thanks for your question! LS2 is generally an excellent brand, thanks in part to the material Carbon they often use. This makes the helmet very strong and light.
