Yet I know so many that dislike it, unbelievable. Not a true fan if you can’t appreciate a masterpiece like this album was! Definitely my fav followed by Take A Look In The Mirror.
This is the song that made me fall in love with Korn. Untouchables and Issues are by far their best albums! And no one smacks a bass like Fieldy does 🤘
Growing up in the 90's, Korn has always been special to me and you two remind me of hanging out with my friends, friends that i still have today. You guys would be amazing to hang out with.
This is one of Korn's heaviest songs! It's one of their best in my opinion. No matter who you are if you listen with an open mind and love music in general it's impossible to sit still while listening to this song, it naturally makes you move! Love it and love you guys reaction to it!
Untouchables was my first Korn album. The first song I heard from them was Thoughtless and it meant a lot to me because I was bullied all throughout school. I begged my mom for the album and she got me it and Issues.
Favorite Korn song of all time. Happy to see other reactors reacting to this one. Listening to this back then, everything about it. The heavy riff in the beginning, the chorus is perfect and the "break it down..." part so epic. No wonder they got a Grammy for this one.
I remember that when that album came out and that video premiered, Korn was 4 years old without recording anything and it was a return that took everyone by surprise, coming back in style with a tremendous song, for me this lineup was, is and will be the best of Korn with David Silveria on drums.
Omg! I remember in 2003, I bought this album. Me and my mate literally bolted back to my house to hear it. I'll always remember the first time hearing that Main Riff. I looked over to my mate and both of us with our mouths wide open and me saying "That is fucking Filthy!!!!" 🤘😜
Korn was probably the biggest band on earth from 1998 to 2004. Try to find the video of them riding on a tank through the streets of Toronto in 1998 to promote their 3 album " Follow The Leader" Of which Freak on A Leash is from. From that album, you guys should do the Video for " Got The Life" I say video because there are a lot of Cameos from other artists, including a famous Rapper.
This is one of my favourite Korn tracks, such a heavy riff in A tuning that 7 string ibanez munky uses sounds so dirty. This isn't actually the original music video, the original one was removed from daytime TV as it was a bit too graphic. They released this version of the video a while later. The scenes before the kid goes into the TV are some from the original. The original video is actually on the Korn official channel.
Korn Untouchables Tour 2002 @ Glasgow SECC. They opened with this beast. They blew the place down! A great comeback after their disaster of a warm up act Puddle of Mudd got booed off the stage! Memories!
Korn's first album was in 1994 they have 14 studio album and their last one was this years (2022) called requiem i've been a fan since 1999 great reaction to a great song 🤟
Untouchables will forever be one of my top albums. I had 4 copies in my freshmen year. 2 regular copies, 1 edited album from walmart lol and a special edition album that had bonus live songs. Here to stay, thoughtless and alone i break were anthems
Untouchables was my first Korn album and first album along with Hybrid Theory by Linkin Park that transitioned me into heavier, newer rock/metal. I was a grunge kid from the 90s and these two albums were my segway into a large library of metal.
There ain't nothing like watching this band perform in their own hometown of bakersfield. The energy is off the fucking wall. And I watched them play with Rob Zombie LOL. Top that! Several years later I found myself marching in place to the beat of this song as they played at the House of Blues in Anaheim head banging with my daughter the entire show. These guys are epic live totally recommend trying to catch a show. Make sure you're at the front
This is a very solid band. They’ve been around for a long time and have always put out good stuff. Between JD’s voice and their bass player, they have an instantly recognizable sound. I’ve been a fan since I was a kid. The album you were talking about is called Follow the Leader. I think it’s their third. Hope you guys get into doing more of their songs. Have a happy new year!!🎆
This was the very first song and music video I seen of Korn and the reason I started listening to them. I even remember as a kid watching the car driving off the bridge on an old police chase tv series. One other thing, coolest mic stand ever.
I can think back to when hard hits in the NFL were still a thing that didn't get flagged, and ESPN used this song for their ultimate highlight reel!!! And oh my God was that beautiful!!!
I felt this album was pushing in what the pop audience was happy with. At the time of release it was too heavy for me (I was like 11).. But a few years later when I was listening to slipknot, this was such a great album.
this was the first video where you got to see the new mic stand that johnathan davis had made especially for him by none other than the creator of the Alien H.R.Gigear and this video is the radio edit safe for tv version of this song and what happened to the kid was at the end of the video on the uncutr version instead of the beginning of the video here
Even as an older fan of Korn, before this single and album dropped I couldn’t believe they could be any heavier, but this just smashed all of my expectations and still remains a gold standard of how to FUCKING ROCK
I actually got into korn for the first time a couple of months ago and it was there first album and it was blind I didn't understand it cause I was more into slipknot but listening to it I loved it!
Back in the 90s in high school, my nickname was KoRnbread because I was always listening to Korn's music and wearing their merch. Ie t-shirts. I was known as the tool and koRn guy because I was always listening to their music on my CD player. 😉🎧
Saw them open for 311 back when there first album had just come out....I heard "blind" on the radio a few days before the show but had no idea who they were.....they were so heavy and that was one of the scariest pits I'd ever seen in my life (with the exception of when I saw pantera).....fucking insane!!!
I kinda feel like you guys needs to react to a Duran Duran song now. Jonathan Davis was a big fan of theirs and admitted to being influenced by their style and some of their song writing methods. I just think it'd be kinda fun to go from this KoRn music to a poppy 80's song and trying to hear the similarities between the two.. I dunno, maybe I'm alone in that thought, though =)
Giovanni Bucci directed Korn's never never, and love and meth. He's also the lead singer of ODDKO. When you guys reviewed fleshgod apocalypse sugar smokey asked for more of his work. He also did monnalisa from fleshgod apocalypse.
jon davis sobered up in 99, before issues, head the lead guitarist left before see you on the other side in 06 and korn lost their sound for a good 7 years. thats where korn lost ground to slipknot. but when head the lead guitarist came back for the paradigm shift in “12 they definitely got their sound back. now they all sober, they were haaaaard into drugs n alcohol in the 90s
Used to live right by where the Blair Witch took place. Theres a place right there called “spook hill” too. Drive down the hill and it looks like your going up hill. That shirt is 🔥 Smokey
Smokey with the deep thoughts. 👌🏻 I want to thank you guys for bringing me back to some of my favorite Korn songs 🤘🏻🤘🏻 also…Korn live is fucking amazing.
I'm a big Korn fan since i was a teen, when this album came out in 2002 also was the first time of the band in Chile, but they didn't play songs from this album because they were ending the "issues" tour haha lo ve the reaction guys!
I totally forgot there were two versions of this video 😅 the kid getting sucked into the television is actually at the end of the other version. Check it out when you get a chance.
Like a Villain or Death of Peace of Mind. every Bad Omens song really lol. I'm going down the rabbit whole of reactors that are finding them for the first time. It's awesome.
It's pretty even between Korn and Slipknot for which band is more popular. Probably by a hair, due to the longevity and the fact that more of the earlier Korn albums had more of a rap/hip hop influence, I could see them being bigger. Because they drew in the heavy metal fans, hard rock fans and the rap/hip hop fans at the same shows at a time when hard rock and heavy metal definitely needed a boost. They really made it big with Follow the Leader. By that time, bands like Metallica were experimenting more with their sound with Load & Reload.
KoRN are the Kings of NuMetal. Slipknot came around after Korn and both bands have had incredible careers! KoRN is better than everyone in my humble opinion! Keep rocking guys!
New England is "usually" considered the original 13 english colonies, I have heard and seen lists without certain states. Georgia for example. The main states on the east coast of our country.
Falling Away From Me is from the album Issues. Freak on a Leash (the girl playing hopscotch on the cliff) is from Follow the Leader. While Slipknot has cemented themselves as one of the legendary bands of Nu Metal, I would put Korn at the top of the list. Not just because they are attributed as being the band to usher in the genre, but also in terms of sales. Slipknot is a very talented band but, I think they're gimmick and having more of that underground aggression than Korn really helps to add to the catching of people's attention. I think that's evident in my hearing much more of Korn getting radio play than Slipknot, which could be argued for Korn's higher success of sales. Slipknot is definitely up there but, I have to put Korn over them.

As others have pointed out, the original video is much more powerful. It has some of the clips of the band performing from this one, interspersed with brief clips of natural disasters, brief reality clips of extreme violence including police brutality, interspersed with brief shots from porno videos. Scattered throughout are shots of someone with an old school TV remote, changing the channels. Near the end of the montage of sex & violence the camera finally shows the eyes of the previously unseen “watcher”, pans out slowly, & it reveals that the watcher is the kid you see at the beginning of this version. That shit hits like a freight train. Commentary about our society’s unrelenting barrage of sex & violence, and our generally terrible parenting, all at once. Oof. Oh, and if nobody mentioned it already, Jonathan’s badass microphone stand was custom made for him by H.R. Giger, the guy who created the xenomorph from the “Alien” franchise!! Peace!
The child at the beginning was central to the original version of this video. Korn had to re-release the music video as this version because the original video was deemed too graphic. I remember when this single dropped. It sounded like the heaviest thing I’d ever heard. Like Godzilla marching through Tokyo.
Exactly
YUP ! Was 20 when it came out and my mind exploded
middle school me didn’t think Korn could get that heavy, but they sure as dude fool the fuck outta me 😭😭
My sentiments exactly. When I first heard this it was like the bricks had fallen off the pyramids.
Yes and it’s still sounds heavy as balls. When they played this at Gunnersby park in London this past Sunday. It was like a nuke going off.
Hands down the best Korn song of the new millennium. Such a driving riff.
I bow my head before you )))))))))))
And I must add: Now did my time.....
Untouchables is one of Korns best records great reaction guys 🤘
"Issues" is the best in my opinion
"Untouchables" is their best album next to Self Titled
Untouchables is my favorite too.
@@jhamilton1007The Path of Totality is pretty dope

@Joe dirty71 ^ Ball tongue is one of my favs.
@joedirty7176My favorite is Beg For Me. Hardly anyone gives that track the credit it deserves.
Korn has such a deep catalog. Y’all need to do some old school off Life is Peachy
Untouchables was my first Korn album. The first song I heard from them was Thoughtless and it meant a lot to me because I was bullied all throughout school. I begged my mom for the album and she got me it and Issues.
The heavy riff on this is fantastic.
If you like “falling away from me” from Korn, you will like “somebody someone”. It goes hard
SOMEBODY!
IM A YEAR LATE BUT
SOMEONE!!!
Had the pleasure of seeing them perform this live this past summer. Great memory!
God dam i love the way the intro just explodes into heavy as hell riffs. As much as I love Korns first album this song is their best imo
U ain’t wrong my guy

I went to watch Korn when they came to England with this album, this was the opener, superb
You just had to be there when this album came out!!
