“You’ve made your decision. There’s no turning back now. All that remains is to find out who’s still with you.”
absolutely no one, gg
For Arizona. For the Rangers.
Fuck me that's exactly how it felt.
Spoiler below
Fuckin' Jodie Bell with her "Oh no we gotta get supplies back home" even though we looted the place after I killed daddy Buchanan.
Scotchmo and colter stood by me
I would've told Angie to shove it if I didn't drop the ball and fuck things up in Denver.
Noo... I had to be friends with the friendly robots and save brother Regan, and the rest of Colorado was all the worse for it.
The final ride to the base in Wasteland 3, with this playing in the background... magical.
Finished the game 2 days ago, Still thinking about that part. Brilliant choice, I kinda wish that I didnt have such a fast car at that time xD.
i did the fast travel D: shieeet
@@Ven0mic hahaha. I didnt even try that. Just assumed it was turned off xP.
Then you must have skipped the music as well. You maniac!
Yeah, I just did this last night too. It really set the tone for the finale.
Spoilers below:
Driving back after hearing Angela Deth tell me she was gonna kill the Patriarch, it kinda made me sad. This song made it feel like the calm before the storm, right before shit hit the fan. I get what Angela was trying to do, but her methods weren't right (I killed Cordite, couldn't let a slaver go free and murder people) and would've only brought more chaos. In the end, I had to put her down.
May the Old Rangers finally rest in peace.

Just wanted to come here and say, thank you Think Up Anger for the awesome tune, and letting Xile use it in their game. This song was so magical.
Thank you Fragment!
Stopped dead in my fucking tracks driving when I realized what song this was. Fucking incredible
Wow thank you 96zah!
There are very few precious moments in all my years of gaming that carried such an emotional load that they would stay with me for the rest of my days... Watching the remains of the Kharak burning while listening to the "Adagio for Strings" in Homeworld 2... Staying in the bookshop in "Gabriel Knight - Sins of the Fathers" just to listen to the "Bookshop Theme" wondering what the future will bring... Watching my miserable little band of survivors trudging day-after-day through the hostile jungle of Vietnam in the "Lost Patrol", with the sombre main theme playing... Watching Zoë reunited with her sister in "Dreamfall: The Longest Journey" while in "reality" she is lapsing into coma, while sad and emotional "Faith" theme playing in the background... And now another memory has been added to that collection - the one from Wasteland 3. The decision has been made, no "everybody-is-happy" option anymore, no turning back, now it's time to return to Colorado Springs and face the consequences...
Listening to this on my last trip to Colorado Springs, rushing to the Patriarch's aid was pure magic.
Heard this first in the Machine Compound and was like "damn, these AI know some good tunes."
Heart it again in the end of the game and it was impactful as hell. Good stuff.
Man these lyrics are so universal lol
Finished W3 yesterday the game was a blast and the final mission while moving from one to other end of the map to face our Finale and this song was playing in the radio OMG that was awesome choice while riding i was thinking about all my consequence's from the start till now the choices i made where we stood and what we've been through to get to this point and its finally here literally goosebumps. Thank you Devs.....
Just awesome. Thanks to inXile for this game and the Wasteland licence.
Just heard this for the first time, last night, while playing Wasteland 3.
I legit stopped all gameplay, because of just how phenomenal this cover is.
Stellar job, and absolutely beautifully done.
Without spoilers, does it play during a boss battle?
It also plays during the credits, alongside many of the other awesome songs.
I am here, right now, for the same reason.
Right?!? The covers in this game are AMAZING!! I heard it first in an area with the word Cannibal.
i did exactly this
15 seconds into the game trailer, I was combing youtube for this. It’s now been on repeat for quite awhile. Love it.
Thank you Josh!
Ditto
Ditti
I did the same =). Amazing song
i just did the same thing lmao
Soon as I heard the opening line of the song, I was more in the love with the song than the game.. amazing cover. The game does look good though, just this song is beautiful.
Had this song playing ingame, after finishing off Liberty and driving back to Colorado Springs, all while thinking about, if I made the right choice. Really gave me the chills....
I was crying at that moment, thinking about in what world we are living right now... all this injustice, all the suffering living beings... what are we doing? Please, let us all be kind to all living beings, although it means to dispense!
Same man .......what a game and so good soundtrack !!!!!!!!
Yep, this song made what would have otherwise been an uneventful ride across the map a moment of contemplation. A nice bit of buildup before the finale. Were we doing the right thing, staying our course despite all the evidence we came across, even if it meant butting heads with certain more idealistic rangers, and turning a blind eye to a lot of cruelty and suffering? Well, according to the ending I got, we were, at least for the immediate future. I wonder if there'll be a DLC or a sequel that sheds some light on the long term results.
@@Amig186 gonna have to wait another decade for wasteland 4
I deposed the fascist and escorted the supplies back. No regrets.
This song kicked in at the perfect moment in game, just when I was wondering how the hell we ended up where we ended up. Absolutely fantastic track choice.
Never saw the trailer and never heard of this song until I reached Machine Commune and this was blasting through the speakers there. WL3 has quite awesome songs, really good job devs.
Bro, you need to check out the original from Genesis.
@@nocturnaljoe9543 I am old enough to know the Genesis version as well as decent cover by Disturbed 😃
@@reandor Well I just threw that in, as I saw people in the comments section stating, thate they never knew that song at all.
Lyrics:
_______
I must've dreamed a thousand dreams
Been haunted by a million screams
But I can hear the marching feet
They're moving into the street.
Now did you read the news today
They say the danger's gone away
But I can see the fire's still alight
There burning into the night.
There's too many men
Too many people
Making too many problems
And not much love to go round
Can't you see
This is a land of confusion.
This is the world we live in
And these are the hands we're given
Use them and let's start trying
To make it a place worth living in.
thank you
Also, it's a cover of a Genesis song. Lyrics are identical.
Patrolling the Colorado almost makes me wish for Mojave desert.
Nice one
Agree
lol
Here’s a like my good man
We're desert ranger after all
As a die hard Wasteland fan to the franchise, this song has got me even more hyped up for the game!
Great franchise to be a part of.
This song gave me chills in the trailer.
Edit: And when it plays at the end of the game- while driving in Colorado- it still gave me chills. Wasteland 3 is amazing
Finished wasteland 3 about an hour ago and I can't get this song out of my head
This song is more Wasteland 3 than Wasteland 3 itself. 10000 out of 10 stars!
Thank you!
This song showing up right after meeting the Gippers really sold it. Reminded me of that Spitting Image special with Reagan's Fever Dream.
ua-cam.com/video/Yq7FKO5DlV0/v-deo.html
This song made the game for me and is perfect for Wasteland! It's eerie and ominous and just barely recognizable as something familiar from the distant past, a very good fit for the Wasteland. Fan-fucking-tastic job, please keep working on RPG's and video games!
Your song made the drive from Yuma back to Colorado Springs haunting.
This song is a real masterpiece moment in the game.
When I heard it for the first time in Wasteland 3 i was like: "not only the gameplay is masterpiece, but music also" ! Perfect composition
Thanks a lot!
Just finished Wasteland 3 and after hearing the ending song (this song) immediately upgraded to the Deluxe Version for the soundtrack. Just to find out it's not part of the soundtrack. Pretty disappointing given it's the best song in the game imo. Game is still fantastic and so is this cover! Absolutely love it.
Same!
Same.
I think this song plays in radio when you drive from Yuma Country back to Colorado for endgame.
Same thing, I want to buy a longer and higher qualify ver of this.
Wasteland 3, maybe the only game that makes you tired of killing... and makes you want to live in better world. This song helps a lot for this feeling!
Definitely not the only game.
I think it was fun to kill in this game. Fallout 1/2 made killing feel too hard(for first time players) and made peaceful solutions seem rewarding. Too bad 3d fallouts, even fallout NV made peaceful options seem like showing mercy rather than a smart choice.
@@demonspawn5164 i mean i dont like killing. But when done righteously its a chore like any other.

Never heard of this song until I saw the Wasteland 3 trailer. Absolutely amazing choice for it, too. Fits too well!
The cover, or the actual song? Said song has been around since the 80s
Genesis Land of confusion, go check it out. RONNIE!
Holy cow. This is just hauntingly beautiful.
This song fits the game so well. Made the epilogue twice as good
Finally I found it, everytime it played in the Robot denver area I stood still to listen :)
Gripping. Moving. Haunting.
A moment of silence for the Patriarch, Angela Deth, Victory, Liberty and Valor... What an amazing game and wonderful cover, Genesis would be proud 😎
All these hard decisions in the game...
What alcohol to give Scothmo!
Wasteland has bring us here.
Yes. It have bring us here.
bring
Shit gives me chills everytime I'm heading to that final battle.
Spoilers below.
Jesus fuck Lucia, you could have sided with us. And not got a bullet in the head
30h into Wasteland 3 and I cant stop listening to this song.
There's a situation for this song. The deep breath...then the plunge. A fighting advance, storm of lead and fire, through the defenses, into the sanctum...where awaits the lord, weapon in hand.
Wasteland 3 is one of the best games ive ever played
I need to play it again and throw in with the Patriarch this time. Feel bad betraying Dead Red though lol
The second one also the best, it has so many ending, even for helping a tortoises
I wouldn't have suffered through all the bugs and crashes for this game if i wasn't so hooked by the writing, gameplay, and (by my surprise) THE MUSIC!! ❤️
Its pretty good, but not the best i ever played.
Its buggy, balance is off on max difficulty(weapons i mean), but still decent game, it looks like its underrated too.
You created a masterpiece ! This version of "Land of confusion" conquered my heart.
Wasteland 3 has one of the best writing in a video game.
The drive from the eastern plains to ranger hq
This song hit hard.
Only just heard this for the first time on that drive back to the base. Almost haunting. The literal perfect piece of music for that moment. Amazing work to all involved.
I really want this on Spotify right now, because I love it
You guys killed it with this version! Utterly slew this song. Straight fire.
THIS SONG SET THE TONE FOR THE FINAL FIGHT IN THE GAME!
I heard it in game perfect song perfect cover perfect timing not just in game. Respect
That final trip to colorado springs, the chaos of the streets just started and the destin of that lands is n youre hands..
Best song out of wasteland by a mile
I love the strings in this one.
Think Up Anger is as close to musical perfection as there is!
As a gamer and a Genesis fan this was so awesome to hear! Creative and original cover of this always timely song.
Thanks so much!
I hope this ends up on itunes. I’d love to listen to it all day, every day. It’s haunting. Never played wastelands and seeing the trailer for 3 makes me wish i had. Hyped for 3.
MASTERPIECE!
Too kind Mirco!
Went to see the new Wasteland trailer, left to find this song. Dudes, ......wow! Best version of this song yet, imo.
i would love to have this on Spotify to listen to, your vocals are fantastic!
righttt righttt righttt....
Oh man, the feels, they are still real.
I cant describe how Wasteland 3 great is, only true gamers knows this feeling. When you get so immerse into the game that you just stop driving car and listen to song, last mission eaits and you know you will have to make tough decision, remembering all what have you done in W3, and all what you have did in Wasteland 2. And you feel that simple connections whith your Squad from W2, and your Rangers from Wasteland 3.Now, last decision. Well, we have to find out , shall we go ?
The first time I heard this in Wasteland 3 I was blown away by how good the cover was, and how overall haunting the delivery is. I absolutely love it.
Heard the song in the trailer and had to look it up, covers this good are a rare find.
EPIC !!!
Haunting.
You're driving back and this pops up and you know... You're in for a fight where your decisions meant something.
This is a great cover.
I did not think Wasteland 3 was going to top Blood of the Lamb and then this came on.
Trailer led me here. This is amazing. I want it to be longer.
Awesome song! Just wow!! (And everyone I made them listen to it LOVED it!)
Huzzah! I found it! Thanks for uploading this for everyone to enjoy this amazing song!
This is incredible. Heard it as I entered a certain commune in game and I just had to stop playing and continue listening. Glad I found the song here, disappointed it wasnt on my Collector's Edition USB stick.
When I heard that and go to Ranger HQ after capturing Liberty I made a little fun from that. I decided to speak as my Desert Ranger hero and started to speak this line when I drove to Colorado Springs for final fight:
Arthur Lebedev: All right, Rangers. This is it. Hear our speech.
Carla Brygo: 20 years ago my father, Faran Brygo, ask Rangers for help in order to defeat Las Vegas before robots. You know that story - about how general Hernan Vargas, captain Angela Deth, Hell Razor and Thrasher with Ace decided to stop it. And how they defeated back then mad cyborg called Finster and this piece of shit in Base Cochise.
Pizepi Joren: Yeah. I was a kid back then. But elders told me what happened.
Arthur Lebedev: So you know another part of story. How we were at Team Echo. Me, my sister Sarah, my dear Carla, her bodyguard John Tax, Scothmo, Pizepi and - for some time - captain Deth.
Pizepi Joren: And how we found that synth killed captain Ace. Along with Hell Razor.
Carla Brygo: We all saw that. What tragedy this Matthias brought to Arizona. We went to California and decided to stop this psycho. Along with bringing law and justice to California. But this asshole called Dugan, along with Matthias, prepared assault to Ranger Citadel.
Arthur Lebedev: We all know how that ended. We killed Dugan and Matthias, retook Citadel, but it was too late - this monstrosity called Cochise AI took control and sent its synths against us.
Carla Brygo: So we killed this fucking computer like it tried to blow up humanity - by nuke.
Curie: And 5 years later we are here. We are Team November now. We helped people and in some ways the Patriarch. We blackmailed Gippers. We saved Moster Army and Bizarre. And we rescued Aspen from Vic's madness.
Lucia Wesson: And now we took Liberty to a custody. But we found terrible truth. I found terrible truth. How Patriarch murdered Dorseys because of democracy. And how he lied to us, giving all those folks to suffer because of all those gangs.
Arthur Lebedev: Rangers. We're going to defeat Patriarch. To bring justice to Colorado. To end this nightmare. We don't force you. You can go away your own path. But if you decide to liberate Colorado, to bring justice, to rescue Colorado, Arizona and maybe even California... Then go with us this one last time.
(Putting his rifle like sword)
Arthur Lebedev: For Rangers!
Carla Brygo: For Justice!
Eric Visser: For Those Who Died because of Patriarch!
Curie: For California!
Pizepi Joren: For Arizona!
Lucia Wesson: For Colorado! And for my family!
Artur Lebedev: Morningstar?
Morningstar: I once sweared to protect Reagan. But Cochise used commies to destroy American Dream. I thought that Patriarch will restore this dream. Now I know he won't. He hate it. So I'm with you. We're in this together. For Elder Statesman Reagan's dream. Which is called United States of America.
Everyone: Once a Ranger, always a Ranger! Stay together, die together! We win or we die!
Arthur Lebedev: Time to save our home!
Lucia Wesson: And bring Patriarch to justice for what he done! Along with his sick children!
Great song, great game, nothing more to say.
Damn this song hit hard on the way back to Colorado Springs

I'm totally late, but better than never i hope - this is one of the best re-imaginings of a song I've ever personally heard; you've totally made it your own... Damn, its good
Knocked it out of the park, so ominous and bad ass, I love it. Great job!
Great cover!
Pure gold.
Thank you Owen!
This song is a piece of art.
This cover's exquisite, as it is its use in the game.
You absolutely killed it with this cover, so atmospheric and full of feeling. Great job!
