Forty years later and this is still one of the best nights of my childhood.
Greatest game at old Trafford I ever saw
Bryan Robson-a leader,a warrior and United through and through.Hero and legend.
True number 7!!! Legend
Bryan Robson what a captain❤️
Martin Tyler is honestly a living Legend. Sir David Attenborough of football
Show this to Harry Maguire. Help him understand what it means to be the captain of this club.
He's beyond help at this point.
Maguire has to go.
And show this to ole
1 year later he is no longer an issue mate gone in the summer.
Have to say under big Ron we played some great football
I was there in the Stretford End the atmosphere was the best I've ever witnessed Brilliant.
I was in the Stretford End as well, the most incredible comeback for me, the atmosphere was unbelievable!
Same mate
I was so lucky to be at this game absolutely brilliant everyone had written us of.
What was it like being on the terraces all stood up compared to how it is now. I really want terraces back🙏 they look so wild
Stuart Reed I was also lucky enough to be there, stood in the Stretford paddock behind the away dugout. Just an unbelievable night
My Dad was there. He said it’s the best ever atmosphere he experienced at Old Trafford. Unfortunately I didn’t start going to games with him until November 1985. This is one game I would have loved to have been at.
l'm actually a liverpool fan...but in all fairness to bryan robson...he was manchester united's best player in that decade, and he had gone through everything for the club....The rest of the man utd team in the 1980s had let him down
He was the epitome of what it meant to be captain of Manchester United.
Bryan Robson the man that turned me into a Man Utd fan!
Same here...still my favourite player ever
Me too. United forever. I can’t wait for those great days to return
I was in the stretford paddock stood clinging to the railings that night, the atmosphere was unbelievable what a night, Robbo could probably do a job in the midfield right now and show how to be a leader
One of the greatest nights watching United. How a United should lead, like Keane in Turin.
If anyone else is thinking of posting they only know of Bryan Robson because of PES, I suggest you keep that to yourself. Real fans should have known already.
My Dad was lucky enough to be there that night. He'd been a match going United fan since the early 1960's, and he said it was the best ever night he'd experienced at Old Trafford. Unfortunately I was too young to go. I didn't go to my first game at Old Trafford until November 1985. Brilliant.
Bryan Robson, what a leader, what a warrior!
Glory glory Man United 🔴🔴 Hello in Kazakhstan 🇰🇿🇰🇿
how do you feel after seeing yesterday's performance AND being a united fan 😅
@@aarush130 Lol they were playing vs France, what did you expect?
@@Marco-hq6hn yes I know I did not expect them to win but it must take a toll on your mental health to be a man united fan AND see your country lose 8-0. Not insulting him in anyway.
@@aarush130 I will say you bro terrible, feeling terrible. When you can’t be proud of your country or even of your club. Both sides have such awful people in charge...
@@blackflash4501 keep ya head up bro. It'll be fine soon.
What a night!! Robbo carrried shoulder high by the fans capped a glorious victory at OT.
Wish we had days like that back again. Standing on the terraces was amazing.
Ole out
I don't know how strong of a team Barcelona were back then but given that they had Maradona and reached the Cup final, I would like to assume they were among the best. Against a side like that Utd finished 3-0 winners, with the current team I'll be glad if they get a similar scoreline against the bottom half of the league, such is the pathetic performance of the current Utd team (3-0 away to Spurs doesn't really count as they were in turmoil themselves at that time).
They were among the best. ManU won on 3-2 (aggregate) we lost 0-2 on first leg of finals. On this time around there was still leg matches for finals.
United finished fourth in the league that season, which was a real disappointment.
Juventus were trying to sign Robbo, and it was Juventus who beat us in the semi final.
Barca were an average side back then, they won one league title in the 70s and one in the 80s, after Maradona had left. Maradona hadn't become the great we know him to be, he would achieve that status at Napoli.
So, you just admitted you have no idea about something yet waste no time in trying to say something accordingly your own agenda against the team? Lmao
@@hernanmunoz7715 so... whats the problem?
The only average team back there is your varchester penited finished team watta disrespect for Barca we could’ve won more leagues in these seasons but the brutal tackles and injuries that maradona suffered stopped that and the other season we finished 2 points away from ATM cuz at the last 5 in the leauge matches our striker got kidnapped
Ggmu what A legend❤
This club & its management really clinging to the glory past, trying to nickel & dime the nostalgia among its fans.
They’d still be posting this stuff if we were winning
And at least it’s education for the plastics fans to learn a bit about the club’s history
I get your point though
its for plastics like to understand the club that you "support"
What? All clubs do this and it’s a reminder for those of us fans who supported the club during the ‘barren’ years and appreciated the players we had and the great man himself Big Ron. If you don’t learn from history then you’re doomed to repeat it.
The age when teams had the same players over several years. Today players come and go so quickly we hardly remember their names.
Still moving, even now, 35 years on. Thank you Bryan Robson.
I've only ever watched Man Utd once at home. That was the match. Came down from Lancaster Univ. Had forgotten that I've actually seen Maradona play. No surprise really, on that nite!
Don't make them like Robbo anymore. Incredible footballer. My childhood hero!! Loved him as England captain.
We need to recreate this next Thursday cmon you Reds 👹🤛🏻
Barcelona had won two of their 4 Cup Winners Cups and of course United in 1991 stopped Barcelona from winning 5 CWC’s by beating them in the 1991 CWC Final
Robbo😍
Robbo's greatest Man United moment
I love MAN UNITED
Beware of bots pretending to be united fans in comment sections seeing them everywhere posting same message several times in same video and previous videos as well
maybe its the admin themselves using these bots services
What a performance from bryan robson
The speed of robson the real utd players ❤❤❤
People need to stop complaining about these getting posted lol it's to teach younger fans about the history of our club. Even I am not a big fan of it myself but deal with it.
We will never gonna see United be great again with Ole as the coach
I was at this game! I don't remember much apart from the goals and Maradona's shot at 1:17
I was on the other side from the camera view in the main stand.
Ole out
Zidane in
THIS
Pure Gold
Glory Glory Man United
Watch the speed of robbo for the second goal ❤❤❤❤❤

Even with the current situation at the club I’ll always support 😅

If you were there, no more needs to be said.
🔥
wish i could watch player leader like him cantona keane play on their prime
The night that Bryan Robson was better than Maradona.
rahimrazali409. He was better than Maradona all the time.......lots of video clips showing Maradona doing all sorts of phenomenal things with the ball,so you would think his side won big.......none of it........quite often his sides, whether Argentina, barcelona or Napoli, only won narrowly and, just as likely, lost the match.....
Full of flash........played in 4 World Cups......won one.....with his hand.....
Robbo, charismatic figure
Scouse busting captain marvel, wonderful memories and he was the ultimate captain
Who's here before the Uefa Europa League round of 32 clash second leg between Manchester United and Barcelona at Old Trafford?!
Loved. Beckham
United beat Barcelona in the 1991 European cup winners cup...
MANCHESTER UNITED CAPITAIN BRYAN ROBSON
Imagine that will happen this season😱😱😱
Here we go,Here we go,Here we go,Here we go.
❤️😍
1:01 His Iconic Moment Card In Pes 2021 Mobile 🔥
Sadly we can do nothing other than living in the history
Bring back Ron Atkinson, sadly missed in the game
Emile Heskey will disagree
Wow Maradona !!
❤️❤️🙌🙌
Happy Birthday Bryan Robson (January 11, 1957).
This is why Man Utd is a bigger club than say Man City. History.
United knocked out in the next round
True Captain ❤️
Reds🔥🔥🔥🔥
🌹🌹🌹
FUN FACT: Our interim manager (Michael Carrick) was 3 when this game happened, he is 40 now.....
Shame we got juve in the semis. But what a night. Got on the pitch and carried robbo off
3:16 some United supporters got a photo with Diego Maradona.
It might take an hour for me to name a personal best England team , purely from players I've seen. However it would would only take a second to name the first on the teamsheet and captain. Robbo was just something special and I'm not a MUFC supporter...you didn't have to be.
I never knew Maradona faced United during his career
Me too! :)
Ole and his coaching staff OUT
Not a United fan, but love Bryan Robson. Maradona doesn’t score that second Argentina goal in 86, if Robson played.
Ole out please 🙏
Meant how a United captain should lead.
Becks ❤
👍😍💚
