It'd be really great if you could post some complete matches/seasons from our illustrious history, I could imagine there's some great memories that could be relived during the coming weeks and months. I love the content you already give us, but the added option of being able to go to points in Liverpool's historic story would be the icing on the cake. YNWA
Liverpool fans taunted their United counterparts with 'You lost the League on Merseyside' and with taunts of 'Dalglish, Dalglish'. They showed their loyalty to their favourite son. We got thr usual bollocks of 'murderers ' from United fans. Luckily enough Liverpool fans didn't retaliate with 'who's that dying on the runway'
with that quality of football what i see from this video, both of those teams would struggle to win a single match in the premier league. Football evolves and VAR is more essencial nowadays
Freedom has been pulverized by the invention of VAR , players can’t be sure if they should celebrate or not after scoring a goal that would require VAR inspection . soon player would have resigned already they are only staying because most of them that’s their major source of income if it was otherwise many GOATS would have hit the road like jack already..VAR is hindering the spirit of glory and freedom
Considering how good United were through the nineties, we had our fair share of results against United. But they won a lot during that era. Rewind to the eighties and we could hardly beat them, yet it was us that won the league and European Cup quite regularly. Just goes to show that for a regional derby, the form book goes out of the window and these games are decided by who wants it more on the day.
1 league victory at Anfield in the whole 80s; 4 league victories at Anfield in the first half or so of the 90s (90-91, 91-92, 94-95, 95-96). But once Liverpool looked like challenging for the title ~1996, they kept blowing the big games.
That day the KOP to really rub it in taunted Man United fans with "You lost the league on Merseyside" (Everton had already beaten them at Goodison) and Dalglish, Dalglish.
Hey Liverpool quick suggestion. I think that you should sign a new Keeper because in football, if your starting keeper gets injured, you're going to need a good keeper so then they don't make big mistakes like Adrian. (No hate to Adrian by the way) but I suggest you sign a new keeper in the next transfer window
During the nineties Liverpool had some very talented players and could beat anyone on their day, yet at the same time, they gained a reputation for being 'defensively fragile' and an inconsistent team. As a result they lost the 'fear-factor that had helped the club dominate English football for most of the 70s and nearly all of the 80s. In contrast,United had a lot of talent as well, but somehow they had more 'steel and resolve' than the 'nineties' version of Liverpool. This in time gave United their own 'fear-factor' over everyone else, which is something they didn't really lose until SAF left in 2013.
Liverpool easily had a great team in the early 90s.. they could've had a few titles given some managerial stability. Anyway here we are, and first title in 30 years.
Shows the difference Cantona made to United. Without him Liverpool got the better of United. Liverpool look like they could compete with them for a higher league finish. The following season when Cantona came back from his ban they were a far better team. Also John Barnes was still quality in the mid 90’s, when he moved into midfield after his Achilles injury. He never really got much credit at the time and was seen as a faded force in the press.

Keane good player but Gerrard was on another ( couple) of levels. The best player I've seen in premier or 1st division since early 1970's.
Keane has Gerrard in his pocket for the best part of their meetings, Gerrard never did any dirty tackles on roy he was to scared.

So was the style of football. So basic, scrap for the ball in midfield get the ball out wide where the grass was nicer and drive it in.
