I think it would be great to have a tournament similar to the FA Cup( Football , UK) that includes different levels of teams, from Tier 1 to Tier 3, and perhaps even a couple of spots for the best teams in premier. The Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams would start at a later stage in the tournament. This setup could, in theory, allow a team of five friends to compete and possibly win against a top team like Fnatic.
Sustainability in tier 2 has also been a predominant problem. Teams just being dropped because there is nothing to play for. Riot is addressing this, but I do wish tier 2 was a more open eco system so others can also do big tournaments. Feels like competitive Val is at a standstill when VCT is not on.
so basically you would like to see what SEN just did but on a bigger scale and done by riot? I would love to see that tbh it'd be great for all the teams the players and fans especially with the long offseason.

Tbh on that tournament MXS showed a good level that took down sentinels on the first match.
Rn Sentinels have one of the best rosters and it seemed they struggled a little to defeat mxs.
So in a bigger scale that would be similar. I've seen tier 2 teams playing amazing and no doubt it would be a good start for those teams to get involved in tier 1

The issues is that ..
Org are spending money to build up teams in tier 2, but there are barely any events with price pool pool to get some money back.
Orgs are just loseing the money. There's no support from roit in teir 2 scene right now.
And its getting harder for the teams, as year goes by.

As a viewer... tier 2 is just boring as hell. Why would I wanna watch semi pro??? I get some ppl do but these owners needa understand who actually watches and most of us don't care for that. Its hard enough to care for t1 sometimes
