Losing due to time by not knowing where to go/what to do is like the worst way to lose a round. It just shows that the 5 players are clueless as to what they need to do, let alone do it multiple rounds.
It's way worse than 5 players simply rushing site because there is a chance that 5 players rushing would win the fight right there and then.
it just shows they need an igl. they need a competent leader and someone to actually make confident calls on the fly. scream has the mechanical skill but he can’t igl. it also seems the coach is way too relaxed with scream’s plans, he just enables terrible strats and says nothing

@@andrewchao9164 even in csgo, scream suffered due to his decision making. He has top notch mechanical skills but lacks fundamentals of being igl. No doubt they need a real igl

he didn't accidentally as if he just jumped up and they came out, he intentionally removed his shit because he was popping off. After winning a pistol. 12-1 down. And a map down. Honestly a joke and the fact the gods themselves stepped in to allow them to win that round is the only reason that round hasn't nuked the karmine corp roster in its entirety

Some quick points about the video that I think are not entirely correct, hope they help you in some way - Their loss at Sao Palo wasn't taken to be a bad loss at all. The scorelines were surprisingly good for a newly formed team, and even overperformed Sentinels against Fnatic, winners of LOCK/IN. There were issues highlighted at that time obviously, but it was assumed (or hoped) that they would fix those issues eventually. ScreaM's IGLing is bought into question, sure, but that is by far not the only thing causing them to lose rounds. Their comp on Split, while not good necessarily, isn't unusable either. It fits with their playstyle pretty well. Unfortunately, their playstyle is "Hold angles" and this can be countered by "Waiting" as defenders or "Full pushing" as attackers, and Karmine has not figured an answer for this. They clearly have not spent enough time in VOD reviewing, because anyone seeing their VODs can tell that all they need to do is run simple site execs and simple defaults on defence. Their player quality is super high and that would already put them above atleast 3 teams in EMEA. ScreaM needs to be more comfortable in IGLing, and he clearly isn't at this moment. Since they clearly won't be qualifying for Tokyo, this is the best time for them to figure out what they want to do.
Agree with all you’re points!!, maybe I was a bit too harsh on them. But with their next few games against the top tier emea teams I’m afraid they’ll struggle, but let’s see.

i can agree that they dont look flawless rn. but it is a newish team. there is only 2 players that have played together on the roster. so i say the first split new teams will struggle. but lets see what they can do in the second half! Awesome video tho man!
There is a difference though between "struggling to work together as a team" which is fair enough and what KC is showing which is a fundamental misunderstanding of how the Valorant economy works.
To me that isn't even indicative of an issue with the players, it shows me that their coaching staff is absolutely garbage (unless the players aren't listening to the coaches). Ever since Lock in, FNC has shown how good light shields are, KC is instead stuck in 2020 and buys sheriff full shields on 'eco' rounds that ruin their economy in the next round.
That isn't even a topic that would take long to explain, you could show how to manage the economy properly in 20 minutes, but they keep failing in an area that isn't even a hurdle for most immortal lobbies.

My two main games I play are rocket league and valorant. In rl they just won the winter major and they’re insane…. Their val team damn. Crazy how a teams success can be so diff in diff games haha

Ok so i'm KC french fan, and I'm gonna be honest with you, what you say is completely true. Kcorp wants to play with no duelists and like put in the valorant meta the fact that team can play with 2 initiators or 2 smokers in all the map pool. But the fact is that the roster of Karmine was made in order to perform in long terms, and develop young players like Shin and Newzera. So it's not working for the moment because of multiple reasons and to be honest, it's painfull to watch. Scream has to be the star player, the duelist for KC for me.
For XMS, i think the problem is not here. In the last year, he played Chamber super well with Mad Lions and with Tenstar, and the downfall of Chamber really impact him for me. For Nivera, the fact that he plays OP on Omen is just a meh, like WTF ?
Finally, Kcorp is a long made roster, for me we have to see when the VCT EMEA finish what they done, and see if they progress during the season or not, if not, they will have to change players like Shin and Newzera for people with more experience or level in EU, to play with a stronger roster.

Honestly, Nivera on Omen with an operator on attack was one of the few good ideas KC has had cause Nivera is just good enough to pull it off.
But yeah KC playing no duelist comps when they don't know how to work the map to bait rotations and set up lurks just looks like they are making it so much harder for themselves.
They could honestly play Brimstone double duelist on every map and just full exec every round and they'd have more success than with what they are doing now.

I don't understand their strategy anymore, and they play on Ascent, Split but their best map are Pearl and Lotus, so idk ? That's a lot of misunderstanding in strategy of what they're doing in VCT, but honestly i'm just tired of the players saying on Twitter that they are "sorry, we will work harder and do better next time" but they don't

Scream and Nivera are The Definitive Duo. Even in CSGO they both played on the same team. I like to think if a team signs one of them, they have to sign both of them.

Clearly they have no tactics at all. They don't know what to do on THEIR MAP PICK. They don't have an IGL and a pure duelist. I know Scream likes to take duels and his known for his 1 taps, headshot machine, but I don't see him as a good duelist. All he does is brag about his Reyna which everyone knows not a good agent for team plays. If you look at him playing Sentinels and Initiator, his playstyle just doesn't suit him. I don't know what role fits him. I don't see him as a duelist, his Initiator and Sentinels playstyle just meh, and don't try to get into Controller. The other day he plays with KennyS, his Omen was crapshit. You can say Scream is the problem here but everyone wants to see the legend to atleast win something before he retires. So I guess the first step is to remove him from IGL role and find an actual good IGL, and then put him on duelist to really test out his capabilities under a good IGL. If the duelist role works on him then they don't have to find a duelist to replace him and made him play other role. After getting a good IGL, they need a good sniper user. I know Nivera can play that weapon but he's as good as a secondary sniper. And lately he's been missing alot of shots. He's so good that he can play any role, any weapon but I believe we should just let him play his natural role and weapon. Feels bad for him. I believe he was the most consistent player and has been carrying Team Liquid and now he have to deal with this shit in KC. Even worse, his own brother is the problem right now.

This might be a hot take but I don't think Keloqz is underrated by any means. He is good and has the potential to be the best duelist in emea, he just doesn't always play like the best duelist. Keloqz is the guy that has good moments on a map but it's hard to say he had a good series.

You do know that ScreaM was the igl for team liquid right? He is the only one with experience. Sure, scream has amazing aim, but no one has the experience to play igl except for ScreaM. The original reason Nivera and ScreaM went to Karmine Korp in the first place was because Nivera was going to get dropped and Scream wanted to stay with his brother. He knew he was never going to get the same success like he was in team liquid.
Problem is they had plenty of chances to pick up an actual IGL this isn't a broke team. But scream wanted to prove once and for all that he was absolutely not IGL material

putting the blame on Scream IGLing only is ranting and doesn't make sense. Shin and Newzera on this squad have to be switched if you have to be honest. They're making way too many mistakes and even if you're trying to IGL with mistakes like that then you're comp is going to have massive flaws. I knew KC messed up when they didn't pick up anyone from Gambit or the other really good free agents out there. Instead they stuck with Shin and Newzera. To me that was a hard throw and Scream IGL for TL through champions LCQ and beat Gambit lol It's clearly not him but the squad as a whole.
