- Learn hunters with Identity V gameplay. We all want to improve as a hunter in Identity V, but sometimes it is difficult to see where we made mistakes, one way of doing this is though comparing your own gameplay to that of higher tier players of that hunter. Axeboy is a popular hunter for high tier players, with this Identity V gameplay we will analyse the mistakes each player makes, and where they made better decisions compared to their piers.

I'm not a pro but there's this trick i use when there is 1 cipher remaining and I have only eliminated one surv/none at all as Joseph.
Camping strategy that i recommend: scouting. But before getting into that ciphers wiggle if being decoded and anytime ur stuck in an animation as a hunter u should check ciphers. Scouting is basically predicting where the rescuer is coming from by knowing which cipher stops wiggling, so that u can cross their way and easily double hit them (either normal hit + tp back to the chair or hit +skill) i recommend hitting with basic attack since u will probably have 1 or 2 skill points in berserker. (im a vio main 120th place saber 4 atm)
Hello Robbie main here another thing that you should look out for is purple souls. These souls circles the survivor that leaves the corrupted areas (unless if they recently breaks a tree) You can actually use this to pinpoint nearby survivor locations. They are also easier to hit survivor in my opinion. Hope this small tip helps ^^

So for me personally, on the topic of camping, I prefer to leave the chair and head towards a wiggling cipher, because you can maybe hit someone on their way to rescue and you disrupt decoding. HOWEVER if my tinnitus (pls bring this trait it’s one of the best persona traits imo) goes off as I’m leaving or while I’m chairing I will stay and camp because it would be a waste to leave. Always check nearby ciphers because if they’re right there you can force the rescue. I’m going to be honest: I hate camping, but it is definitely necessary, especially endgame when you know a gate is open.

I'm guard 26 performance and one recomendation that I have to do for the rescuers in general bonbon take a lot of time of animation whet he hit someone's so take that time to run or be the sacrifice for the people who you already rescue , and want thing that I see a lot is that people hide behind the pallets don't do that with bonbon we usually put peppers or put a lot of bombs so you eventually are going to get some damage and is very hard because if you don't have a doctor in the team we get a lot of pressence with the hits and the bombs , and when you rescue wait for the time to explote all the bomb's and then you rescue because sometimes we put some bomb that is not going to make boom with the others so you are going to get the damage of the hit- the boom and then another boom be careful when you rescue with bonbon
Just wanted to say I really appreciate your content as a new player! The game doesn't seem super beginner-friendly, but your videos have helped me a lot. very useful! as a bq main it was good getting tips for axe boy (a quite different hunter) as i play differently than him :p
If you drag the tree branch onto the restful road (similar to how ember can give his puppets rage), it will create a peaceful pine at the end of the road helping you shut down tight kites once you close in on the survivor. I used to main axe boy before he got reworked, I miss the old days when he could simply just shoot the fireballs back at survivors like ripper's foggy blade.
I’m kinda a geisha main and depending on the map or on how many ciphers there is, depends if I’ll camp or move to locate a new survivor. Most geisha’s will carry teleport and since we have our butterflies it allows us to have some map control.

hey hey! been watching your channel for a while and i was wondering if you could do a video on calibrations? i use to get them everytime but after a short hiatus i never seem to get them :((
coming from a hell ember main, u shouldn't put ur flames puppets unless there's no other option. u shud always camp with independent phantoms. back in the day embers used to use puppets for camping bcoz the moment u touch the dismantle option for puppets and left it (which is how u counter moving puppets)they would hit immediately, but today they won't move for a while after being touched.
i main axe boy, and using the fireball as speed boosts is actually done even by pro players. of course, you should have a mix of using them to attack and using them as speed boosts, but if you CAN get a hit by absorbing a soul, just do it. its better not to waste them, though, so even if you miss a soul, you could just use it as a speed boost. dont waste it by vaulting, standing still, etc when you can use it to close distance
