In my opinion its easiest to take the motor and trans as one assembly. Some of the view points suck which i apologize for. Hopefully this can help someone get the job done.

I don't think so. You should be able to take it out from atleast the bottom. I haven't done one yet, but a coworker had and I know he didn't remove the engine.
I think I will do a video of a teardown. I work at a dealership with one of the fastest mechanics I have seen. It takes about 4 hours to take out. And 4 to rebuild. I watch and learn. He has over 50 years experience.

Always possible to remove just trans. Cars with full subframes require the subframe to be removed in order to fit the trans.

I have to do my motor mounts 2015 2.0L Turbo which is the hardest ?
Honestly none of them are hard. Just need a piece of sturdy wood and a good jack. Obviously tools for the job also.

What was the reason for engine removal
Its been a while so I'm not really sure. I'm sure the rod was knocking hah. Thats typically what we see due to old oil or no oil at all 🙃

Pretty sure it's 2 15mm bolts in the front of the block.
2014 has the LTG, different engine.
