Thank you for rescuing her! It is infuriating that so many ppl are breeding Frenchies and selling them for so much.
Lee Asher of The Asher House recently rescued four breeding Frenchies from a garage where they were being fed bread on the ground! He now calls them The Frenchie Army. :)
It’s so sad! I’ve adopted frenchies from inhumane conditions where they were just used to breed and it was heartbreaking. Unfortunately many end up like this which is why I like the fact that rescues like Lee and these channels spread awareness and really help people understand not to buy dogs.
My Frenchie gave birth but sadly we have to give them away because here in CA we can’t have 7 dogs.
(She gave birth to 4)
And it's worse bc I don't believe they can whelp, but have to have C-section. Big incision while nursing..gah
Such a relief knowing this mama and babies have a great home and loving parents ❤
We fostered a pregnant cat named Smokey back in 2012. In April she had four kittens under my sisters' bunk bed. We kept one of the two boys and the remaining three kittens were adopted out. Our boy went to live with my aunt in between moves and he passed away at the age of 11 in June. Her kitten Leo and him were the best of friends and it breaks my heart to hear him occasionally walking around meowing while looking for his friend.
I'm so sorry for the loss. Hope Leo is doing better

Owner may have passed away & had no family, a new landlord changed their lease to no pets & no affordable places around to move to or someone may have lost their job & can't afford her anymore.
At least she was at a rescue & not left on the streets.
