@@daryeusford9696 They have a higher percentage of recovery than people do. Of course not all dogs can forgive, sometimes the things we do to them is just too much. But dogs lack the petty traits that a lot of humans have which is why they can forgive easier.

I know, it breaks my heart too. But you just have to realize more and more people are doing this and more and more dogs are being saved. My mom is Turkish, and when we used to go there for vaca 10+ years ago, stray dogs were ignored and had no real rescue options, but now even in Turkey you see people with dogs on a leash, dog accessory stores, rescue shelters, rehab shelters, and vets. There is hope, & it gets better every day.

The Chinese tradition says the more terrorized, traumatized and terrified the dogs are at death, the better the meat tastes. There are videos here on UA-cam demonstrating the sickening ritual.

They will sit, beg, stay, lay down, roll over, guide you across the street, pick you up when you are down, and make you smile. And yet still they are food for humans in parts of Asia. But in truth, the post on screen said, that they are NOT CONCERNED because there is nothing abnormal and she is eating well, therefore it should be ok. I’ve been following the work of Slaughterhouse Survivors for a while now and I remember seeing Pearl for the first time and believing she was definitely not going to make it. I feel so happy seeing her life now. The work of HSH and Roadogs is beyond words ❤️

As the owner of 2 french bulldogs, Pearl's story made me cry. Poor pup! I am so thankful that she was saved just in time. Pearl has so much love to give. The dogmeat industry must stop. Dogs are our friends. They were bred to keep us safe and/or to be our companions.

Eating a dog is no more or less savage than eating any other animal. What is different than eating for example a pig? Pigs are actually smarter than dogs, they feel fear, pain, joy, love and try to protect their families and those around them (even in the cruel slaughterhouses).
No animal should be more or less deserving than others, it is all the way our brains have been washed since kids that have numbed us to be insensitive to the torture that some species are subject too. Watch Dominion here on UA-cam so you realize what it is you are promoting when you eat animals.

I adopted a rescue about 5 states away from where I'm at....but WOW, Pearl has more travel miles under her belt than I do. China to California, California road trip ALL THE WAY ACROSS the USA. The dodo shows how loving and affectionate many animals can be. If this world survives, there has to be vegans and a whole shift of thinking. Our crAzy Life very small amount of chinese people eat it, and they stopped for a while. then, pigs and cows got infected and so rural areas had to bring back the disgusting method of dog meat, but trust me, i’m chinese, i know some people that have faced it, and they are disgusted by what they had to do and wish that there was any other thing to do and not kill dogs. many chinese people love dogs dearly for their loyalty, so they don’t want to kill them.
I absolutely adore this video. I also adopted a disabled pet and gave her a good life unfortunately she perished after some years but she sure enjoyed herself while she was here! Eating a dog is no more or less savage than eating any other animal. What is different than eating for example a pig? Pigs are actually smarter than dogs, they feel fear, pain, joy, love and try to protect their families and those around them (even in the cruel slaughterhouses).
No animal should be more or less deserving than others, it is all the way our brains have been washed since kids that have numbed us to be insensitive to the torture that some species are subject too.

Disgusting and completely inhumane practices. I'm coming from the perspective of someone who has a dog as a beloved family member.

This makes me so happy that people gave her a second chance at life. I’m a huge dog lover, I’ve rescued several dogs and I’ve loved each n every one of them.
I'm so happy to see Pearl isn't the only dog in her new home. Seeing how happy she was playing with all the other dogs melted my heart. I love happy endings!

I am so sorry, Gale. The passing of a beloved pet is so hard - they are not pets/animals, they are family. I've lost 4 and I still hurt from their passing. Pearl is just a little angel! I fell in love with her spirit and character. I would take her in a heartbeat. I have a female Frenchie already and they have same coat color. So happy she found an amazing home.

I adopted a rescue about 5 states away from where I'm at....but WOW, Pearl has more travel miles under her belt than I do. China to California, California road trip ALL THE WAY ACROSS the USA. I wish we could show love to all shapes and sizes of animals. So glad this dog was rescued and I hope she lives a full and happy life. ♡ Though at least dogs are viewed in a positive light. Fox. We cannot extend it to mice as they over breed and destroy crops that ppl need. I kept thinking of other breeds throughout re-reading comments. The dodo shows how loving and affectionate many animals can be. If this world survives, there has to be vegans and a whole shift of thinking. All this greedy stuffing of meat is not good for people or animals.

But instead of using methods to kill them like glue traps, poison, etc. We should learn more about them and find more effective ways of protecting our crops. Our crAzy Life very small amount of chinese people eat it, and they stopped for a while. then, pigs and cows got infected and so rural areas had to bring back the disgusting method of dog meat, but trust me, i’m chinese, i know some people that have faced it, and they are disgusted by what they had to do and wish that there was any other thing to do and not kill dogs. many chinese people love dogs dearly for their loyalty, so they don’t want to kill them.
