Also the girls always perform the dances twice: one for judging and one for the tv show, so that the cameraman can get different shots and angles. The second performance doesn't count for the sake of the competition, so maybe the mistakes we see here are not the ones made in the judged version

Pretty Reckless i kind of agree with you but at the same time it seems to be pretty much about hazing with drugs. i think there should’ve been more indication that lily was being targeted by the others and that’s why she went unconscious at the end, though, so i get your point. and the costumes didn’t live up to their potential for this number.
I adore this dance to pieces, I especially love the ending where Lily is terrified and losing control before collapsing off of the table and dying. But I don't feel like the message was portrayed - it looks more like it was just a bad party foul. Lily should've had a different colored costume (white perhaps) to show she was the odd one out, the new girl. And the choreography should have emphasized the girls targetting her, like messing with her and shoving her around. If so, this dance would be absolutely perfect.

The music makes me me think of the movie Animal House (because it's a cheap cover of Shout!) But the dance doesn't scream frat/sorority hazing...or Greek life. They look more like nymphs associated with Bacchus or Dionysus with a random table and some solo cups in the background. Hazing is more than drinking and dancing.
personally i think they should’ve been dressed like a typical sorority girl because then it would’ve made much more sense and people would’ve been able to understand the characters they were supposed to be clearer

If you look closely they were holding Lilly to high so she could not reach the floor to turn and do the lift. I think it is just a height issues as Lilly is very tiny compared to the others girls, who misjudged how high or low they should have hold her

It's not the lift that she messed up. Around 2:05 Gia went too early, she went right after Hannah but I think she was supposed to go after Pressley. You can see them change places after that

Yes the other girls lifting didn’t get her down far enough, but it was a bit on her too. No hate to either of them, but everyone made mistakes. Hazing is when a group like a frat or a sorority dare new ppl in the group to do drastic things in order to be a member of said group and they unfortunately die from the acts. They are all wearing the same costumes bc it's a sorority, they're suppose to be like sisters so they are dressed the same. Lily is considered the new girl and so that's why she was on the table and she was the one that collapsed on the ground at the end. Because she was hazed.
